Hotter Than Hell.

"I'm so sorry Ariel, but Avril's the one I love" Those words were the only disgusting words Ariel heard from Carter's lips, before her world turned dark. 

She collapsed.

Why did she collapse after listening to Carter say those words to her with a poker face without even blinking for once?. Ariel doesn't exactly know.

It was probably due to the fact she was hurting already from her father's words and  Carter then came in, and added more fuel to the fire, making it unquenchable. 

Ariel got up from her bed weakly, walking towards the window and spread the curtains open, looking up to the marvel dark sky.

It was past midnight.

She stared at the beautiful dark sky decorated with alluring bright stars accompanied also by the magnificently brown-tinged gray full moon displaying it's astonishing rays of light down on earth.

Ariel smiled, the moon looked so marvelous especially when it was a full moon.

It was dark already?Adding to her curiosity how long she had passed out? And who brought her into her bedroom when she collapsed?Her dad could never be the one. Neither was it Carter or Avril nope it can't be them, then who?. 

Ariel pushed the window open softly, allowing the gentle midnight breeze to blow in her face. She smiled as the breeze brushed through her face, so she heaved a deep sigh of relief and let it out before speaking.

"Dear Mother Selene, (The moon goddess) I know you can hear me" She pointed to the moon. "So please just listen to me and grant me, my heart desires".

A single tear fell from her left eye as she closed her eyes to pray and twined her fingers between her hands. 

"Tomorrow is the mating ceremony of my sister Avril. I have decided with all my heart to give up Carter for her, so I'm here now pleading to you to help me find my own real mate".

"Let he be an alpha to save me from grandma's curse and also if it's possible for father to love me for even just a little bit like he loves Avril, please do it for me, Mother Selene" Ariel paused and continued.

"I also pray that you give me the courage and strength that I lack, to be able to watch my sister's mating ceremony tomorrow without vexing or trying something stupid" She took a deep breath, letting it out and continuing with her prayer.

"The burn I feel inside of me is twice hotter than hell and the pain….the pain….it's just…it's just", She beat her chest twice, Ariel wanted to continue with the prayer but she couldn't proceed with her words. 

It was choking her right in the throat and not wanting to come out.

Ariel wiped the tears rolling down her cheeks, she didn't want to cry but the more she tried stopping them, the more they kept on pushing and falling off her eyes.

"Oh fuck me, it's not like she's going to listen" She mumbled under her breath, closing the window with a grunt and moved towards her bed. 

Tomorrow was the big day, so she was going to prepare herself for it.

Ariel woke up and sprange to her feet swiftly caused by the loud rumbling noise coming out of a car and disturbing her beauty sleep, no, it sounded more like a truck. Were they vacating the house?.

Who was the idiot disturbing her sleep?.

Moving quickly towards the window, she forced it open and looked beneath her, only for her to find Jacob driving around   in a truck. No, It wasn't a truck but a new Toyota fj cruiser Jeep.

The idiot was Jacob and no one else, he always knew how to get on her nerves. But where did he even got the Jeep from?.

The Jeep looked new to her.

As if Jacob knew Ariel was staring at him, he looked up at her and winked seductively.

"Oh, fuck yourself Jacob" She rolled her eyes and closed the window but not without her stealing a glance from her Jacob who was smiling in ridicule at her which she didn't gave damn.

He has been acting weirdly towards her recently.

Without wasting time, she went into her bathroom to wash up and get herself ready for the big mating ceremony going to happen tonight.

Ariel climbed down the stairs since she stayed on the second floor of the two-storey bungalow, and made a stop in the center of the large general hall. 

Rolling her eyes everywhere around the hall, she couldn't find anyone in there. And she hadn't been called by her father yet. Was he even at home?.

Was Avril at home?, She pondered deeply.

"I should go help her prepare for her big day, today" Ariel thought, her hand supporting her jaws. 

She has finally made up her mind to give up on Carter for her sister finally, and forget about her revenge also and just make amends with her. 

After all, Avril won Carter over at last and besides, They were sisters and even twins to be precise, with the same body, face and everything but not the same heart.

Avril's heart was hard and colder than ice.

Her legs moved her over to Avril's room which was not too far from the general hall. She knocked on the door, waiting for a response from inside, for her to go into the room, but none came.

Avril was likely to be at the sundown midnight pack house, shoving her tongue down Carter's throat or possibly the both of them were fucking each other's brains out.

That insensate thought of hers got roused by a voice inside the room, welcoming her in.

"Come in" she heard the voice say from inside the room, it was possibly Avril's voice. That ludicrously, absurd voice of hers. Ariel held the doorknob, squeezing it open and found her way into Avril's room.

She found Avril in a white lightweight robe checking herself out in the mirror of the bronett metro modern pink dresser placed against the wall.

Avril was humming a song and combing her long midnight hair but stopped all of a sudden, sniffing vaguely. A strange scent struck through her nostrils causing them to twich, one that she hasn't smelt in her room for like forever.

"Ariel" She called, getting up from the seat she sat, moving over to Ariel standing beside her bedside.

"What have you come to find this time?" Avril asked, pushing away a strand of hair covering her eyes for her to see Ariel properly and crossed her arms between her chest.

Ariel swallowed hard, she came to patch things up with her sister but with the way Avril crossed her arms and was glaring at her with a murderous glint visible in her eyes, clearly sent her the message. 

The both of them were never going to work things out.
