AZENITH'S POV CONTINUATION

"Wow, you've got your phone but didn't reach the music to stop. Nor does it stop itself because the song is already done." Mica mumbled when the car stop in front of the venue.

A red carpet rolled on the floor took my eyes and admire how they all prepared for this night.

It seems like I'm still in the same atmosphere when I was just starting to become a director of cinemas and films.

"Aze I'm sorry," Jayle apologize when she saw me quiet.

I turned my vision to her and smiled at her so she would stop saying sorry to me. She should feel happy too because we're already here.

Still don't want her to rely on something she thinks was wrong to do. She deserves this night and I won't be so mad at her just because of that song.

"It's fine, the music was good. It's just that something is on that music every time I hear that kind of genre of a song," I explained and smiled at her.

"Let's go, the cameras were everywhere so don't stick with me if you all want to have some individual photos okay? I'll be right in front of you guys, just have some talks with some directors and actresses here. Don't leave my sight, the four of us will seat at the same table." I uttered before opening my door.

Jacob was already in front of me right now. He's already in front of my door, waiting for me to get out.

"Thanks, Jacob, you're such a good friend," I uttered and teased him.

"Shut up Aze, I will look for a woman in here so please don't bother to find me all the time." He stated with a teasingly smile.

"Alright alright, just don't go too far from us. The premier nights won't take too long after the film showing will go after." I muttered and informed him.

"Okay," He nodded.

I walk first and step on the three stanzas of the stairs. I'll wait for them to go upstairs while I'm talking to other teams.

"Hi, Azenith!"

Someone shouted in greet as I glance at them before giving them a wide smile.

"Nickole, how's the film you were directing?" I asked with excitement.

"It went so good Aze, you won't believe how good my actress and actors are. But of course, it has always been your movie who always wins in this contest." She murmured.

"Oh come on, everyone can beat me. I'm just starting in this industry, sooner someone will replace my position." I disagree.

"Of course not! By the way where are your friends?" Devon asked.

I turned around and saw Mica, Jayle, and Jacob walking in my direction. Jayle was struggling on her walk that's why Jacob is helping her.

The way Jacob held her hands makes me adore them both. How could it be so good if they'll be together?

"Aze, are they together?" Nickole asked suddenly referring to Jacob and Jayle.

"I hope so, but I don't think they like each other for now." I simply replied.

"So there's still a chance to steal that man from her?" Jeni uttered in a joke.

"If you can then why not try it," I challenge.

"Woah, Jeni we know you won't win for that. Just look at that girl, she's famous and competitive." Nickole mumbled.

"Look at her Jeni, she looks like she doesn't want someone to take what she got. Devon agreed that what she owns is her and not for no one," Devon agreed.

What the heck? HAHAHA, they were both discouraging Jeni from stealing Jacob in Jayle's hands.

They just definitely explained themselves that they aren't that supportive friends to her. Well, that is good too, she will know where she's going to put herself.

"Enough guys," I mumbled to stop them from trash-talking Jeni in front of me.

"Hi," Jacob greeted suddenly.

"Everyone these are my best friends. Jayle, Mica, and Jacob. Guys, they're one of the directors who also registered themselves for the competition." I stated as they all do shake hands with each other.

I remained quiet while watching them talk individually. They deserve to know the people who are my enemies in this industry too.

So they won't easily get fooled because of the sweet compliments they will tell you. Nicole is such a plastic one friend so as Devon and Jeni.

But unlike them, Jeni is a bit way of an idiot sometimes. She doesn't know that these two people right in front of her are already backstabbing her.

"I guess we should all get inside already. I was just waiting for these three to come over and now that they're already in here, we'll get inside first." I excuse ourselves and gestured them to the entrance door.

"Wow, those women are plastic," Jayle muttered with a laugh.

"Exactly HAHAHA," Mica agreed as the three of them laughed.

"I thought I was just the one who noticed it," Jacob mumbled.

"Wow, looks who talking now huh. Our one and only boy Jacob is already backstabbing a girl in front of us." Jayle laughed as she teased Jacob more.

Looks like Jacob is improving huh, HAH HAHAHA that's good to hear. He should be gay sometimes so no one will like him.

Especially I shipped him to Jayle. They're good to be together and they both look like a couple whenever they're together.

"Good evening ladies, can I have the invitations?"

The man who's in charge of the front desk ask us for our invitations. I opened my bag and took out the two invitations.

These invitations are only for me and for Mica because she's one of the cast in one of the films. While Jacob and Jayle are our invited friends to be with us.

In short, they're our guests.

"Here," I mumbled and handed the two invitation cards to the man who was in front of us.

"Thank you, ma'am," He said with a smile.

"Welcome," I uttered and gave him a wide smile too before we continued to walk inside the venue.

My eyes narrowed on the chandeliers that decorate the whole ceiling. The gold and black curtains were stunning and shining. It covers the whole area of the windows as it's also giving a Cinderella ballroom area.

The colorful dress of the invited people and their handsome partners fit them so much. But my eyes only fixed on the designs of one of the booths beside the veranda.
