NARRATOR'S POV
As soon as Azenith's head looked up and saw the vision of the man who helped him to balance herself.
Her eyes widened as the unknown music was played during their dramatic scene. She couldn't believe who she was facing right now and it stunned her until the music was played without a signal.
The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me, and steal my breath
And emeralds from mountains, the thrust towards the sky
Never revealing their depth
And tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hangs from above
And I'll be your cryin' shoulder
I'll be love's suicide
And I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life
And the rain falls, anger on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed
And you're my survival, you're my living proof
My love is alive and not dead
And tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips
She couldn't speak or withdraw her hands and body away from him. It's like the man is holding her more tightly and closer to his manly body.
The moment she saw Symon again, makes her feel so bad. And the anger she felt for him that she thought was gone already.. is coming back.
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hangs from above
And I'll be your cryin' shoulder
I'll be love's suicide
And I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life
Well, I've dropped out
I've burned up
I've fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in
Turned on
Remembered the things that you said
And I'll be your cryin' shoulder
I'll be love's suicide
And I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your
And I'll be your cryin' shoulder
I'll be love's suicide
And I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life
The greatest fan of your life
The music was done, as Aze quickly withdrew her hands. And without a word, she stood up and was about to step into the aisle of the stairs when Symon suddenly spoke behind. Holding her other wrist as she stopped for a while and held her breath again.
"How are you," Symon asked Zenith.
"I think this isn't the right time to talk about that, Sy, I need to get back to my colleague." She mumbled and refused to answer his questions.
"And when will you want to talk about huh?" He muttered with authority.
"Excuse me, your hands are gripping my wrist." She complained and with all her force she pulled out her hands-on Sy's tight holds.
"I'm not yet done Aze, not until I have you back again," Symon mumbled with a warning baritone.
Aze smirked,
"And what if I don't allow you again?" She challenges him.
"Whether you like it or not, Aze, you will come back in my arms again." Gritted teeth as he uttered those facing Aze, showing his serious expression.
"I bet you are not going to succeed in that, our memories are already buried in our past. Don't let me think of it again because if you do, it makes me hate you more." She hissed and walked out, leaving Symon alone in the middle of the stairs.
People were looking at them earlier, but they didn't mind it. They chose not to be affected by their stares. What's between them in the past, won't do anything in the future. She has already forgotten about those scenes and only the memories of them remain still in her mind.
Perhaps she tried to search for her friends and in about four turns of her head, she finally saw her friends. Mica, Jacob, and Jayle were quietly waiting for her to come over. Their directions were far a bit from her while she pressed herself for a bit.
Slowly she walked in her friend's direction as Jayle, positioned themselves. With open arms as they waited for Aze to hug them tightly, that's what she was looking for.
The biggest comfort is the huge hugs of your loved ones. And that is what she received now after meeting Symon personally.
"Hey, you good?" Jacob asked with a pure concern in his voice.
"I'm fine Jacob, let me just fix myself first." She answered and laughed a bit to wipe out all the sad emotions in her body.
"You didn't know he would be here, did you?" Jayle asked suddenly.
"I didn't," Aze simply answered. "But… but Khalid mentioned that he was already in France right now. I just didn't know he was here for the premiere nights. That's all I know," She explained.
Something flashback in her mind, the conversation she had with Khalid.
[Sy is here,]
"It's alright. Though people were staring at the two of you earlier. they thought of something that between you two there's a quarrel in love." Mica mumbled in worry.
"Just chill guys, I'll be fine and I'm prepared for this. It's just that it was a sudden meetup and I didn't expect it to be in front of the crowd and in the middle of the stairs."
"It's alright, we know he helped you from almost falling on the floor. Furthermore, I think he doesn't have any bad intentions for you now." Jacob joined the conversation.
"Jacob don't trust that idiot and stupid human! He ruined our friend's life, you know that." Jayle hissed angrily.
"Hey, chill okay? I know that, but as I could see he was just trying to help Aze from getting embarrassed. Almost," He stated and looked away, trying to avoid the girl's eyes on him.
"Argh! You stupid!" Jayle shouted and pushed him a bit hard which made Jacob step back and almost hit the other table.
"Jesus Jayle!" He murmured and raised his hands, a sign of surrender.
