Surprise 

The issue came with Azuma searching for Shigure, he didn't know where she was, so he opted to try the method they've discussed, release news on a sword, more specifically Tenken, that way Shigure would know it was him and that he was looking for her.

It didn't take long for Shigure to notice, quickly leaving the confused Ryōzanpaku members behind, only telling them she might take a while to return.

Once they finally met, Azuma surprised her with a house he had bought, when he bought it, he didn't know Shigure would have already joined Ryōzanpaku, the house he bought was quite near the dojo. One, ready to settle down, and what better place than near most of his family, his mother was doing some weird Yami, villain RP, and two, even if Shigure at the beginning of canon didn't seem too close to anyone in Ryōzanpaku besides Akisame and Apachai, she ended up viewing them as family, something Azuma wouldn't take from her future self.

After their meeting Azuma realized Akisame had found Shigure and asked her to join the dojo, that was not important, what was important was that Shigure had more friends!

She seemed to like spending time with Apachai, calling him, a big…dangerous kid, she made a habit of trying to stab Kensei to death, and it seems Shizuha squished Shigure's relationship status out of her, how? Azuma didn't know, and he didn't want to. Ending in the two women talking about their husband and boyfriend quite happily when no one was there to listen.

A relationship Azuma would come to dread, the first hint starting, when Azuma showed her the house, Shigure asked him, "Why buy… a house? We could…. live in… Ryōzanpaku."

Seeing Azuma was taking too long to answer, Shigure added, "You… want to push me to bed….right?"

Had Azuma been drinking anything he would have spit it right out, seeing the incoherent mess that was her boyfriend, Shigure smiled smugly, believing to have read Azuma's mind.

After getting out of his stupor Azuma ran to Shigure, asking her, "Who taught you that?"

Her only response, "Sister Shizuha"

After two months the residents of Ryōzanpaku had become worried about their newest member, Shigure hadn't returned, and this was the longest she spent outside since her six months in the dojo. That, until the day they heard a scream nearing the place.

"Christ, help me! She'll kill me, she'll kill me!" They were confused about the screams, had any of them been there they might have known the reason.

Azuma after furnishing the house with Shigure's help decided to play a prank on his cute girlfriend, substituting most of her throwing weapons with, you guessed it, triangle rulers... she was most definitely not amused, and proceeded to chase the man, with threats of unimaginable pain.

Realizing his only options were, a painful, slow death, or distract the woman with her friends at Ryōzanpaku, he chose the non-painful death option, not exactly how he wanted to appear to the residents, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Everyone at Ryōzanpaku came out to the garden after hearing the screams, the elder had recognized the voice, but wasn't sure, meanwhile, Shizuha was covering her mouth, giggling.

Shigure had caught up with him, slashing the poor man mid-jump, his once dramatic plan for an entrance at the dojo, in reality, became Azuma crashlanding into the garden, worryingly checking to see if he had all his limbs attached.

Hayato was….surprised? Happy? That his son just appeared, although in quite an unconventional way, blurting the first thing that came to his mouth, "Son?"

Most of the members were surprised, Sakaki, spit his beer, Kensei almost tore his 'magazine', Akisame knew, since Saiga had told him he had a younger brother, Shizuha was on a full-blown giggle, Miu was happy, and Apachai was playing with some birds.

Embarrassed Azuma had to play his best card, act like everything was okay, "Oh, hey dad, what's up."

Moments after his 'landing' Shigure landed in Ryōzanpaku, with a face that screamed bloody murder, not noticing everyone.

Trying to get his murderous girlfriend off his back, Azuma proceeded to make the most rational decision he could throw her under the bus, "Have you met my girlfriend?"

Their reactions were better, Sakaki choked on air, Kensei finally tore his 'magazine', Akisame tried to appear the most composed he could, but the cracking off the statue on his hand said otherwise, Shizuha's full-blown giggle intensified, Miu was happier, and Apachai was, still…..playing with some birds.

Shigure, noticing everyone, decided to have her revenge later, she walked to Azuma, who was quite childishly trying to hide behind his father, who quickly moved out of the way, and hugged his arm.

Dragging Azuma in front of Akisame, still hugging his arm, she told the man, with her monotonous voice, no expression on her face, "Surprise."

After everyone calmed down, it was time for some introductions, Miu, twelve years old, happily ran to Azuma, screaming, "Uncle!"

Azuma gave her a sunny smile, "My cute niece, how are you?" Azuma carried her like when she was little.

The girl just laughed, had he been anyone else, she would have started screaming that she was too old for this, but her uncle spoiled her rotten, and she liked when her uncle spoiled her. "You didn't lie, mom returned!"

Azuma just laughed, glancing, and nodding to Shizuha, who had a happy smile on her face, "Of course your uncle would not lie to you, I knew your mother would return."

Miu, nodding her head, only hugged her uncle.

With Miu still in his arms, Hayato took it upon himself to present the others, starting with Sakaki, "This is Shio Sakaki our resident Karate grandmaster and…"

Interrupting Azuma said, "Oh I know him." Getting a confused face from everyone, and an even more confused one from Sakaki. Before anyone could say anything he continued, "I watched some of his tournaments, before they forbade his entrance to them."

Sakaki, laughed, remembering those times, "Ahhh good times, a pleasure to meet you." He gave his hand to Azuma, who had to wrestle his arm away from Miu, who was hugging him like a koala. "Nice to meet you."

Continuing the elder went to Apachai, still playing with some birds, "Apachai, come here." The man quickly ran at the elder, asking him, "Apa?"

Interrupting him, again Azuma said, "I also know him, went to some of his matches in Thailand." Hearing this Apachai only smiled, started punching the air, and screamed, "Apapapapa, Apachai strongest."

Laughing Azuma only smiled at the man, and looked at the last two, before the elder could start, "I personally know Ma Kensei and Akisame Kōetsuji."

The two men in question only raised an eyebrow, not recalling ever meeting Azuma, with clear question on their faces Azuma only changed his voice to the one he used on their meeting and said, "Hoh, Akisame-san, how have you been?"

Surprise filled their faces, Akisame starting, "I knew you gave us a fake name, didn't imagine you would be the Elder's son or Shigure's boyfriend." The last part had some well-hidden resentment on it.

Next came Kensei, who only laughed, and told Azuma, "Glad to meet you again, you owe me quite a bit of money after our last match."

This made the others perk up their ears, most of them asking, "Match? You fought against Kensei?" Even Miu still glued to him, perked up her head to look at him with a questioning glance.

Not used to all the attention Azuma only snorted, "What, I wanted to see dad's dojo and wanted to hide, I had such an elaborate plan to surprise you, all ruined because.." sending a glance to Shigure.

Hayato only sighed, "Well it seems you already know everyone." Glancing at all the members in the garden he told them, "Okay, disperse, I have to teach my son a lesson on hiding things from his old man."

Hearing this everyone gulped, and started to cautiously walk away, Shizuha only went to retrieve Miu from Azuma's chest, whispering to him, "Good luck."

Azuma's back, filled with sweat, seeing his clearly angry dad, cracking his knuckles, with a face that told him, -I do this for you, not for me, actually mostly for me-.

Azuma's screams would fill the dojo for hours.
