Kenichi and Miu were out in some mountain visiting an old friend of Akisame, which means, I have Shigure all for myself, regretfully no sexy time, I need her help with my project, at least the kendo part of it, the ki part, I won't tell her, she'll rat me out with dad or Shizuha.

I got an idea for my sword style a few years ago, the actual kenjutsu part was easily done with Shigure by my side, the only reason I still want her help is with the variations and perfecting every movement. I more or less recreated the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū from Rurouni Kenshin, which really wasn't that hard, the need for an incredibly athletic body, speed, observation, and agility I already had.

The style is rooted in the concept of ichi no tachi, or to strike in a single blow, with a combination of immense speed and agility, and observation that permits the user to anticipate an opponent's movements.

I had to modify it a little to use with an Ōdachi, good thing you need to grab the sheath with the other hand, if it was a drawing technique with a katana attached to the hip, the style would've never worked. But it's not enough, all things considered, this might be one of the tamest worlds I'll go to, in others, direct weapon combat is more of a greeting than fight, the fighters preferring to launch beams of god knows what at each other, and that's exactly what I want to achieve.

Shigure's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, "I need to go…back, Honoka…is coming…and Apachai and I…want to play…with her."

The more time passes the more I'm starting to believe that Shigure can already speak perfectly fine, but chooses not to, the reason, who knows. I nod at her, giving a smile, telling her, "Have fun."

She nods at runs of, that's the other interesting thing that happened, Honoka, Kenichi's little sister became a regular at Ryōzanpaku, at first worried about her brother, but after getting scolded by Kenichi for coming to such a 'dangerous' place she stopped visiting, for a day.

Coming the next day, much to Kenichi's annoyance, but by that time she had forgotten about her brother, with an expression -of you could die for all I care-, she told him she was visiting Shigure and Apachai.

Ahhh the expression on the boy's face, he couldn't tell Honoka not to visit Apachai or Shigure, if he did, he might be killed, again, by Apachai during training, and Shigure doesn't need to do a thing, Tōchūmaru would make sure the boy starved to death.

So, my cute girl gained another small friend. Honoka by some alien way trained Apachai to become her personal, free, taxi service. We could be in the middle of sparing, and like a dog, Apachai would hear a sound, and jump of to the horizon, only to return moments later with Honoka on her back, the girl holding a small whistle. The mysteries of this world.

After my training and meditation, I searched for Shizuha, as usual, she was drinking tea, wearing a kimono, like a 'proper lady' more like a proper demon. "Sis"

Shizuha heard me, looking my way, "Oh, Azuma what brings you here, why are you not with Shigure?"

Shaking my head, "Honoka is here, so she went play with Apachai."

A gentle simile appears on her face, "Ahh, Kenichi-kun's little sister, she is so adorable, makes me want another child."

This was….unexpected news, but it made sense, maybe after Saiga stops from his 007 phase, they could have another child, "Well then, tell my brother to hurry his ass, and come for you."

Shizuha started giggling, "You know how he is; it might give him a heart attack if I told him that, he transforms into a squirrel on cocaine near Miu, imagine if I asked for another."

Laughing uncontrollably, I have to agree, Saiga is a thousand times worse than me with Miu, his head might explode if he gets another kid. Ending my laugh, I ask her, "How is he?"

She gives an unconscious loving smile, thinking about her husband, "My beloved is doing okay, even on his Senzui role-playing, he still got two disciples, one with the rest of OSNF and another between him and Senzui."

We continued talking, about my brother, Miu, pretty much everything, as much as she scares me, she is still my sister-in-law, and with Miu on a trip, and Saiga's next visit not scheduled until next month, she might be feeling lonely, Akisame also spends time with her, but he's also gone.

After leaving Shizuha I went training again, as powerful as I am, legendary class still evades me, I've asked dad about it, but his answers have been cryptic at best, what I am sure of, is that it has something to do with ki. Even with both my talents for energy manipulation and understanding, this is hard. My talents have worked perfectly, I understand ki and can use it extremely well, or Renewal would've never happened, but this is different, I don't know what I am looking for. This is why I need more theorizing than anything else, experimenting with energy inside your body is stupid at best suicidal at worst. There's a reason Ogata experiments on his disciples, not himself.

Also, I've asked Shigure to train me in a variety of weapons, great-axes, polearms, spears, knives, pretty much anything I could think of, thankfully, this is where my talent in fighting got to shine. I did not master any of the other weapons, but If I ever find myself using one of them, at least I know how to use them, proficiently enough to not look like a fish out of water.

In return, not that it was an exchange, I trained Shigure in anything she wanted from my techniques, I don't think she'll start kicking people to oblivion any time soon, but maybe she could get an idea from Renewal, she is getting evidently stronger, she did practice for years against me.

My day was the same for a week or so, time with Shigure, training or otherwise, talk with Shizuha, more training, nighttime activities with my girl, rinse, and repeat.

Until the kids and Akisame returned, then things turned more interesting, Kenichi had started his fights against Ragnarök, at least that was what Shigure told me, on another note Kensei was starting to act strange, we don't interact much, but it's becoming obvious.
