Astonished

The next day, Azuma got the chance to witness how Kenichi was…..persuaded, forcibly, to accompany Sakaki on one of his jobs. He just regarded this scene as another of the master's antics. He noticed he had a new outfit, the most distinct feature to Azuma was the chainmail underneath his dougi, noticing it was forged by Shigure, that light chainmail would probably protect him even against low caliber bullets.

It wasn't too early, heading to the forest, Azuma saw Kisara already there, warming for today's training. "Good to see you here so early."

Startled, Kisara turned towards the voice, seeing her sensei, she gave a small bow and waited for Azuma to speak.

A small smile forming on his face Azuma explained how Kisara's training will progress starting from now, "I noticed you focused on speed, quite obvious thanks to yesterdays question, but you also have excellent balance, your center of gravity could use some work, and you will need to learn the katas for Renewal. More importantly, we'll need to work on your endurance and strength, you get tired too easily, and I'm almost sure a mouse has more strength than you."

Kisara kept quiet, feeling her sensei had more to say, and he did, he launched a pair of ankle weights to her, saying, "Grab them, they both weigh around 20 kg together, so 10 each. You have good leg strength, but we need to work on it more. You really lack any knowledge on how to fight with your arms, so we will focus on that at a later date."

After putting on the weights without complaint, Kisara had heard Azuma talk about Renewal, but he never explained it to her, "Sensei, you keep saying Renewal, I understand that's your style, but what is it?"

Surprised by her question, Azuma, recalled that he had never actually explained the style to her, he had shown her, but never explained it. Besides, he forgot actual Renewal quite quickly, he named it that to avoid constantly saying Recoilless Renewal, but the fact that the style he uses is the advanced form of Renewal, something Kisara is not ready to handle, she first needs to learn non-recoilless Renewal.

"You could divide Renewal into two parts, one is regular Renewal, which is what you'll learn for now, and, Recoilless Renewal, which is what I use."

Nodding her head, Kisara, asked, "What's the difference?"

Smiling, Azuma launched a kick at Kisara, surprising her, she believed that what happened to the tree yesterday would happen to her, instead, all she felt was a strong breeze, disheveling her hair and clothes, but that was it. Next Azuma launched another kick, this time at a tree, and the same scene as yesterday occurred, the tree broke in half.

Dropping his stance, "The difference is the application of power, but to learn recoilless you have to master normal Renewal first, you could say Recoilless Renewal is the natural evolution of Renewal."

Sitting on the floor, Azuma asked Kisara if she had more questions, she did, mainly about the power levels in martial arts, which Azuma explained, telling her she was around low-level disciple approaching middle level. She was more than astonished after Azuma told her his level, thanking all gods for allowing her to have such a powerful master.

After the talk was over, they both headed to Akisame's location, ready so start training on his inventions, however as once they got near the main building, they heard Miu saying she would go somewhere. Seeing the blond girl leave the room, Azuma stopped her, "Little Miu, where are you going with such a hurry."

Startled, Miu noticed her uncle, giving him a giant smile, as if something completely normal had happened, "Oh uncle! Well, it seems Kenichi-san was kidnapped by some guy, so I'm accompanying Sakaki-san to rescue him,"

Kisara was scared of her fellow cat lover, how could she said someone was kidnapped too easily, she seemed more interested in talking with her sensei than the fact Kenichi was abducted.

Almost losing her soul when she heard Azuma asking Miu, "Perfect, my little disciple just asked me about her strength in the grand scheme of things. Could we accompany you on your little adventure?"

Miu's smile widened, happily jumping in the air, "Yes uncle! let's go, it will be like a trip."

Hearing Miu's response, Azuma turned to Kisara, giving her a look, of, 'You will follow'. The girl nodded, regretting ever asking about it.

Meting Sakaki halfway, the man was surprised to see Azuma and Kisara with Miu, allowing them to follow, but he did warn Azuma that Christopher Eclair was his. Sakaki was extremely angry and worried, to say the least, the man needed to vent.

The plan was simple, Eclair wanted to trade Kenichi for Sakaki's client, Gauche, so Miu would dress up as Gauche, accompanying Sakaki to the exchange, Azuma and Kisara would only spectate. Kenichi was in a tall building, that was divided into two separate buildings connected by a small bridge on the lower floors, allowing the party to view Kenichi from the other building.

The group saw Kenichi dining with Éclair, getting a look at him, he has an effeminate appearance and hairstyle and, he has grey hair and wears a dark red coat with white gloves, has blue pants and dark boots.

Immediately after arriving at the floor, Sakaki jumped to Eclair's building, engaging with him, as they fought, Éclair gave the order to kill Gauche to his assistant, who was on the other building ready to finish the transaction.

As the approached Miu disguised, she quickly took the disguise off, starting attacking the assistant, the other one fighting against Kenichi, besides Sakaki and Eclair. Miu disengaged, and using a grappling hook, went to the building where Kenichi was, her opponent quickly following.

Being left alone Azuma was bored, and Kisara was in a mix of nervousness and excitement, this was the first time she had seen a fight like this, her fights usually consisting of beating up untrained kids.

While fighting, Eclair noticed Miu had great form and was handling herself perfectly fine against his assistant, nonchalant, Sakaki told him she was Hayato Fūrinji's granddaughter, astonishing Eclair, who quickly asked who was the boy he kidnapped.

With pride, Sakaki told him Kenichi is Ryōzanpaku disciple, being an assassin of Yami, he knew about Ryōzanpaku's supposedly strongest disciple, Eclair took a glace at Kenichi, seeing him running for his life from his assistant, screaming "Blades are scary" while continuously dodging. With a deadpan expression, he looked at Sakaki, his face saying -You are kidding right? Him?-

Blushing at his disciple's behavior, Sakaki only told Eclair that he wouldn't understand.

Seeing that Miu was doing okay against her opponent, Azuma grabbed Kisara and jumped to the main building, telling Kisara to go help, Kenichi. Normally he wouldn't have done that, but Azuma noticed that the blade Eclair's assistant was using had broken due to Kenichi's chainmail, making it safe for Kisara to help him.

Surprised with Kisara's appearance, he thanked her nonetheless for the help, still preoccupied with his opponent, he didn't notice Azuma standing behind him.

Staying in the back without intervening, Azuma watched as the real Gauche appeared, pointing a gun against Eclair, distracting Sakaki, allowing his opponent to throw him off the building. Believing Sakaki to be dead, Kenichi approached Eclair, who was ready to kill Gauche.

Kenichi landed a punch on Eclair, not due to skill, but mainly due to the fact that the master was used to fighting against opponents with killing intent, intent that Kenichi completely lacked.

Angry at Kenichi, Eclair attacked him, the boy being able to dodge a couple of hits, before inevitably being struck. Worried, Miu attacked Eclair, trying to make him leave Kenichi alone. Once again complementing Miu, Eclair quickly took care of Miu, destroying her clothes, telling her that if she attacked him again, he would kill her.

Azuma took notice of the clothe destroying, seeing once again, that dam blood curse that flowed through her veins, however, Eclair shouldn't have said he would kill Miu.

Worried about Miu, Kenichi hurriedly tried to approach her, but before he could move a deadly aura suffocated him making him start shaking, this aura he had only felt, with Ogata in the forest, and in his first meeting with Eclair and somehow, this one seemed more intense.

Quickly turning towards the aura, shell-shocked, he finally noticed Azuma, who was slowly walking toward Eclair, hearing him say, "You should be careful who you threaten."

At the street level, Sakaki was cleaning off the dust from his fall, when he noticed Azuma's bloodlust, hurryingly getting back to the building, whispering, "Shit."
