Chap 08 SWAMP

It was a fresh morning in this unnamed island . it had been a week since I became myself. I had made a time table and all but I couldn't do it all the way as it was a little hard in my current physical capability. I lived In a small shelter I had made out of big-ass leaves and sticks etc. I found out I couldn't live in that shelter during my stay here the hard way. Cause it had rained yesterday. And let me tell you folks the saying is true which say 'when it rains it pours' . I was constantly cold and semi-wet for the whole night last night. So I decided to do something about it today. I had to have a reliable shelter if I was to keep up with this training regime.

With determination in my heart, I set out to explore more of the island, hoping to find a better spot for shelter like a cave or something. As I ventured deeper into the wilderness of the unnamed island, I realized that I had underestimated the dangers it held. The dense forest was teeming with wildlife, and I had to be constantly vigilant to avoid encounters with aggressive animals.

As I started to explore the island more thoroughly. I discovered that the island was home to a wide variety of wildlife, including monkeys, snakes, and various types of birds.

On that fateful day, As I went deeper and deeper into the forest the air started to get heavier and the tree top getting thicker. I pushed deeper into the wilderness, still the trees grew taller and the foliage grew thicker, creating an impenetrable wall of green. Undeterred, I pressed on, determined to find something that would make the journey worth it.

Finally, I stumbled upon a clearing, and in the center of it lay a swamp. The swamp was not what I had been expecting. It was murky and uninviting, with stagnant water and a pungent smell of decay. The buzzing of insects filled the air, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I gazed upon the treacherous landscape.

Despite the ominous feeling, my curiosity got the better of me, and I began to explore the edges of the swamp. The trees surrounding it were tall and tangled, their roots creating a web-like maze that was impossible to navigate. I carefully stepped through the thick underbrush, my senses on high alert.

As I got closer to the swamp, I noticed the water was thick with sludge and reeked of rotting vegetation. The murky surface was disturbed by the occasional ripple, indicating that something lurked beneath the surface. I felt a chill run down my spine, and I knew that this was not a place to take lightly.

Despite my apprehension, I couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay hidden beneath the murky waters. I knew that the swamp held the potential for discovery and adventure, and I resolved to explore it further. With cautious steps, I ventured into the swamp, my eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger. The water was deep and treacherous, and I felt the mud sucking at my boots as I waded through it.

I continued my exploration of the swamp, intrigued by its mysterious nature. The thick underbrush and tangled roots made it difficult to navigate, but I was determined to uncover the secrets that lay hidden within. The swamp was a strange and foreboding place, but I knew that I had stumbled upon something truly unique, and I relished the opportunity to explore it further.

Suddenly my instincts went into overdrive and I ducked to the side. and just in time too cause I saw a pink whip like thing strike where I was standing just moments ago. I rapidly got up to my legs and looked at the source of the 'thing'. At first I didn't notice it, but suddenly out of nowhere

"gasp"

"....."

that's when my eyes fell upon 'IT'. And I froze up.
