When Kuzan and Atlas arrived at Totto Land, the Big Mom Pirates were already engaged in battle with the Pirate Alliance.

The devastating power of thunder and fire was unleashed upon both of them, and Yermak barely had time to transform into his elemental state. No, to be precise, his elemental transformation was futile because Big Mom's attack covered such a wide area that evading it was impossible.

A single strike nearly killed both of them, but Francis, thanks to the robust skin and dense flesh of the ancient Zoan species, along with his remarkable resilience, avoided serious injury.

On the side, Kuzan quickly assessed the situation, activated his Devil Fruit ability, and exhaled a breath of cold air. The two retreated from the chaotic battlefield, realizing that their initial assessment of Big Mom's strength was gravely underestimated. Lackham, engaged with Katakuri, seemed to be on the verge of defeat.

Klaus, on the other hand, found himself surrounded by several of Big Mom's children. Despite having the upper hand initially, it became increasingly clear that escaping was no longer a viable option.

Seeing Kuzan take the initiative to confront Big Mom, they began contemplating leaving. It was clear that if they didn't retreat, they might be stuck in the waters of Totto Land indefinitely.

"Ah~ra~ra, it seems like the Marines are about to take control of the battlefield!"

Kuzan glanced at Yermak and Francis as they fled but made no attempt to stop them.

A sinister grin spread across Yermak's face as he was about to suggest teaming up with Francis to take down the Marine. However, he was taken aback when he noticed that Francis was approaching the Marine without any defensive posture.

Even more surprising was that the Marine didn't attempt to halt him; instead, he simply ignored Francis.

'Hey, hey, hey! Didn't you mention that pirates are restricted from traveling? Are you blind or something? Can't you see a person standing right in front of you?'

"Damn, that guy Francis is an undercover agent!"

Observing Francis's unusual behavior and reflecting on his role in instigating the war, Yermak, who had begun to regain his composure, finally realized the truth.
