Chapter 2: Normal life

Early morning when sunlight didn't shine cetus woke up from his sleep but continued to lie on the bed while remembering the dream he had.

He dreamed about his past life being miserable suffering from diseases from young age, not being able to play with kids around his age, go to school and do things which kids his age did.

This was not the first time he had such dream but these dreams made him firm in his idea of living a fulfilling life this time.

Deciding not to think much about past, he got up, went outside to train for a while.

Cetus opened the door and went outside to see darkness as it was not his first time seeing such sight , he ran to the forest near his home to train fishman karate.

After nearly 20 minutes of running, he arrived in the forest which looked dense with trees and had eerie silence.

Cetus didn't care much and went to train like he usually does. He took on a horse stance pose and started punching with all his strength which caused shock wave after shock wave.

He occasionally launched water sharks which were 3 meters long and 7 in number which was a form of Fishman jujutsu.

Cetsus learned fishman karate in fishman dojo where they also taught fishman jujutsu though people often refers to them as similar but has great differences.

Fishman karate can send sock wave through water molecules which is very powerful but fishman jujutsu can let it's user grab water as a substance and use it to attack their enemy.

Cetus not only learned fishman karate but also jujutsu to intermediate level which allowed him to throw water as a substance.

He added his own twist to jujutsu as he could turn water thrown into different shapes and add little attribute like hot or cold.

Cetus didn't understand why he could turn thrown water to be hot or cold as he tried asking old master about it but the old master had no reply as he couldn't perform the action of turning thrown water to turn hot or cold though it was to a minor degree.

Old master and cetus reached to the conclusion that it must be his own innate talent as no other fishman karate users couldn't perform such action.

Cetus created several derivative moves from fishman karate and jujutsu which can be considered his highest feat until now.

One was just a normal fishman punch which caused rotating shock wave like an iron drill which he named fishman drill.

Second was his shock save shield where he slammed his palm in air which turned his shock wave to bounce away any near object or living being to be bounced away which was named shock barrier.

Third was fishman jujutsu to throw water while turning them into cold or hot sharks which did extra damage. It was named water animation.

These were the special moves created by cetus himself.

Cetus finishing his morning training after 2 hours looked up as he could feel warm sunlight hitting his face, he saw sun light passing through the bubble and saw Ryugu palace locating in a separate bubble where the royal family of fishman island lived.

It reminded to him his promise to his mother to go shopping in the market for new clothes for the family.

Fearing to be late he quickly began returning home. People could be seen carrying on with there daily life.

Some random fishman uncle was preparing to go fishing while some mermaid aunt was going for shopping vegetables holding hands with her fishman son.

Fishman island is a small island with only 5 million population but they are very united as all people from the surface discriminate against them so they naturally huddle together for survival.

The unity of fishman island can hardly be found in any other race, being kidnapped by human traffickers and sold as slave to celestial dragons made them angry but helpless as they were not strong even though they had 10 times strength to normal human they didn't have strong high level combat power like Admiral or Emperor.

Which left them only option to stand up for each other as a group to survive.

Cetus as a child had seen pirates kidnapping mermaids and fishman which made him have very bad impression of pirates.

Cetus while enjoying the morning view of the island soon reached his house.

Opening the door he could see his mother preparing breakfast.

Oh! You have retuned cet. Go get a bath and be ready to have breakfast.

Cet is a nickname his mother and father love to use while calling him.

Yes , mom I will sure to be quick. I can't wait to have your delicious homemade breakfast as I am already hungry from training.

Haha! Come on you will make be blush.

I am only speaking truth mom. And where is dad currently?

He already went to the palace as he has early guard duty today, don't mind him he is working hard for the family.

Cestus of course understood what his father had to do but he felt little disappointed not being able to spend much time with his father.

Understanding her son's mood she called out.
