(26) Welcome, Vice-Captain Law!

"Woah! You got so big since the last time I've seen you Bepo!" Kitt shouted as he stared at Bepo in amazement.

"Hmm! I'm glad you've noticed! Huu!" Bepo shouted as a proud smile appeared on his face.

"I'm still stuck on the fact that this bear can talk, since when can a bear talk?" Kuina said as she stared at Bepo.

"I'm sorry." Bepo suddenly got depressed and his face went pale.

"What a sensitive bear! Hahaha!" Aoki laughed at the depressed bear.

"Kitt-ya, Avery-ya come up." Law called us up from his big treehouse.

"I wonder how long this took to create?" I asked.

"When you have powers like mine, and that big teddy bear to help it wouldn't take so long." Law said as me and Kitt climbed up the ladder.

"You should've seen it Avery! Law has this cool ability to make a blue domain, and when he says 'Takt' he can make stuff float! It was so cool!"

I bet it looks ten times cooler in person than in the anime, I definitely want to see that now!

"So Avery, what did you mean by Law's what we came here for?" Kitt asked as we sat down on the couch across from Law, as he sat in a grey chair.

"I said it before, Law I want you and Bepo to join my crew."

"Hmm, okay I'll join your crew." Law said surprising me.

I didn't think It'd be that easy to get him to join.

"I can tell by your facial expression that you're thinking 'it was that easy?'." Law said startling me a bit, was I that easy to read hah.

"I joined because it was clear that you're abilities far outclass mine and your strength also outclass me as well, you'd probably give that bastard a run for his money." Law gritted his teeth when he said that last part.

It was obvious who he was talking about; Donquixote Doflamingo!

I doubted I could beat him in a direct confrontation, but it'd only be a matter of time until I surpass him.

"Hey I want to join too!" Bepo said as he climbed up the ladder.

That went better than I expected, a light smile popped up on my face as I shouted.

"Welcome to the crew! Hahaha!" I shouted in joy and laughter.

"Wait Law, who were you talking about when you said Avery would give that bastard a run for his money?" Kitt asked curiously.

"A bastard that I'll kill with my own hands in the future!"

Sadly that won't be happening Law; Doflamingo will just rot in Impel Down, because of a nineteen year old Monkey D. Luffy.

"Woah! I wonder what he did to gain the hatred of the one and only; Trafalgar D. Water Law! Hahaha!"

"Kitt-ya!" Law sent a cold gaze at Kitt, I knew exactly why he got so mad.

Kitt was touching the first psychological wall Law had created to block the memories from that day.

"Alright, alright, stop making the atmosphere so gloomy! Law calm down and Kitt, it's obvious that Law's reasoning is private." I felt like a mom settling disputes between two teenage boys, and I'm only sixteen technically forty three but those years don't count!

"Oops, my bad."

"No, it's my fault for losing my cool so fast; it's not like you were there that day."

"Now that that's settled, we can go back to the ship. No point in staying here now."

"Oh wait I forgot to say Law, you're the Vice-Captain."

"That's no fair! He just joined! At the very least I should be Vice-Captain! Vice-Captain Kitt, it has a good ring to it!"

"Laws Vice-Captain, that's final." I said as I climbed down the ladder, leaving Kitt frustrated.

"Guys, we have a serious problem....I have no idea what our crew name will be. Hence why we have no Jolly Rodger up."

"Really? I thought we didn't have a Jolly Rodger up to trick the marines, and since we didn't have a lot of crew members." Aoki said getting a nod from Kuina.

"That was half the reason, but I think we should have a Jolly Rodger up now since we have six crew members."

"How about the white haired pirates?" Kuina suggested.

"That'd be blatantly copying Shanks' Red haired pirates so no, thanks for the suggestion though."

"I got one! Pelican Pirates!" Kitt shouted with a big smile on his face, as if he was waiting to be praised.

"…"

"Uhh, Kitt that's enough recommendations from you. You can go to your room." I said trying to be as respectful as possible.

"I see you guys don't want me here anymore! Tsk! The Great Kitt's presence isn't worthy of you guys anyway!"Kitt said as he stormed off into the ship.

"Hah, I guess I'll leave this conversation for another time."
