Time flew by like water. Five days passed in the blink of an eye.

During those five days, Buggy didn't completely leave the driving of the Glory to Kuro. Daddy Masterson would help out occasionally.

Kuro's strength was too weak. Buggy had to guide him through training. Every afternoon, Buggy started teaching him Rokushiki (the six powers).

Kuro's stamina was very poor. Learning these techniques was a bit of a stretch for him now, but his talent was evident when he learned Soru (moonwalk). He had already grasped the basics of Soru in these few days. Perhaps he was a natural at learning Soru.

Lafitte was a talented man. Not only was he incredibly strong, but he was also a skilled navigator. They were currently lacking a navigator, and they needed to find one as soon as possible to make their future voyages smoother.

Lafitte was Buggy's first choice for a navigator. This kind of person had to be recruited. Buggy wouldn't let Blackbeard get him. He had no qualms about stealing from his rival. Maybe they would become enemies in the future, and stealing his crew member would be a way to reduce future threats.

Edward Weevil was said to be Whitebeard's son. At his peak, his strength was said to be comparable to Whitebeard's in his youth. He had defeated former Marine Admiral Zephyr. Thanks to the Glory's propulsion system, Buggy quickly climbed to the top of the mountain again, against the current, and then descended again, reaching the foot of the mountain. They had successfully arrived in the West Blue.

One of their main targets this time, Lafitte, should be in the kingdom of Illysia. This kingdom was considered a strong country in the West Blue. It was also a member state of the World Government, so it was prosperous and pirates didn't dare to provoke them. It was a peaceful place in the West Blue. And it wasn't too far from Red Line.

At the foot of Red Line, Buggy handed the driving duties back to Kuro. He had felt that he would break through to the level of a swordsman in the next day or two. He had to increase his training volume.

Five days later, they arrived in the kingdom of Illysia. During those five days, Buggy had broken through to the level of a swordsman. He could now cleave the sea within a hundred meters with a single strike.

This was a huge improvement in Buggy's strength. He was now considered a top-tier strongman in the Four Blues. Except for a few individuals and those old monsters who lived in seclusion, there was probably no one who could defeat him.

Soon, they arrived at the port of Mori City in Illysia. From afar, they could see that the port was very bustling. There were many people moving around, and many ships were docked at the port. Only Buggy disembarked. Daddy Masterson and Kuro stayed on board. This was to prevent pirates from spying on their ship. After all, their ship was built with Adam Wood. If anyone who knew its value saw it, they might get bad ideas. So, someone had to stay on board.

Buggy could disembark alone. As long as he found out where Lafitte was, Buggy could recruit him alone.
