Judging by the appearance of the lieutenant and the soldiers around him, they were about to die without any help from the outside. It is unknown how this whole circus arranged by Luffy would end up - they would not actually kill the Marines, would they? Truth? Nami sincerely wanted to believe that it was true - but luckily for the sea soldiers, a full-fledged captain boarded the ship. And unlike the lieutenant, a tall, gray-haired, all in scars, a man, inspired. However, the cane, clutched in his right hand and on which he leaned while walking, clearly explained why, with all its impressiveness, his subordinate, and not himself, led the attack on the pirate ship. Glancing around everyone present, the gray-haired man fixed his tenacious gaze on the pretend-evil Luffy.
- Set aside the show, - said the captain quietly, immediately giving the most accurate definition of everything that is happening around. As soon as the command sounded, all the marines immediately crept up, and even the lieutenant almost instantly regained his former equanimity. - And you, - he jabbed his cane in Luffy's side, - do something similar again, and fifteen days in solitary confinement will be guaranteed for you.
- What, captain, how can you? - Immediately the guy smiled obsequiously. - I just joked a bit while waiting for the real representatives of local authorities. Cthulhu is good, Cthulhu was not at all going to "Swaxxow evribodi" Cthulhu does not offend anyone at all, - putting his glasses back on his nose and taking a couple of steps back from the lieutenant, he raised his hands in a universal gesture of peace. - Cthulhu does whatever Zoro-sama tells him to do. If Cthulhu does not do what Zoro-sama tells him to do, then Cthulhu may die. Poor Cthulhu simply has no choice. Zoro-sama always kills everyone.
And so, after just a couple of sentences, the aforementioned "Zoro-sama" suddenly became the only idiot in Luffy's concert. Nami didn't even know whether she should have been afraid or admired, but most likely just run. Run far away from such a captain. Unfortunately for her, at the very moment when she decided to start robbing pirates, her instinct for self-preservation fell into a deep coma. Since that day, her actions have not always been characterized by adequacy and rationality. If everything were different, and she would already be sitting on her island, right next to the kind, quiet, peaceful and well-known to her "Uncle Arlong".
- So, - Luffy clapped his hands, drawing attention to himself again after everyone had eyed Zoro enough, - I suggest we get down to business. I think you already understood everything yourself, but, purely just in case, I will explain. This body here, - going up to the decapitated Willie, he lightly kicked his carcass, - is worth nine million in living form, and thirty percent less in the dead. I would like to receive a calculation.
- Who is this? - The captain asked, frowning.
Looking at Yosaku, Luffy shook his head slightly towards the Marines. Clutching a smoking cigar between his teeth, the guy put his hand into the bag lying next to him. Taking out a separately set aside leaflet with a picture of "Mad" Willie, he got to his feet and, going up to the captain, gave it to him.
- "Mad" Willie, - the watchman read aloud, then turned his gaze to the decapitated body, and then to the relaxed Johnny. - I understand this is your job "Beheader".
As already mentioned, even a couple of friends were not known in East Blue to the same degree as Zoro, but they already managed to earn their part of fame, and with it nicknames.
- I'm sorry! Johnny gave the captain a lazy two-finger salute. - Slightly overdid it with a blow, and the head flew into the sea, - he sent the captain a disarming smile, as if he had not lost the head of the person he had killed, but, say, forgot his wallet at home or something like that.
- I've heard about your group, I've heard, - carefully peering at Johnny, the captain slightly nodded his head. - Judging by the stories of my acquaintances, the captains, who have repeatedly dealt with you, you are a gang of complete thugs. Against your background, even pirates look good-natured and humanists.
- I didn't know we were so popular with the Marines, - Yosaku chuckled, sitting back down in his seat next to Johnny. - And thanks for the compliment, - he added, taking a drag. - We are rarely told something so pleasant.
- "Butcher" Yosaku, - said the captain. - Your group of bounty hunters is truly famous ... "Beheader" Johnny, "Butcher " Yosaku and, most dangerous of all, "Pirate Slayer" Zoro. I heard about this guy too. - The sentinel jabbed the end of his cane towards Luffy again.
- Really?! - by sight, he was completely genuinely delighted. - I hope only good!
- All the annoying idiot who is hiding in the shadow of his Boss, "Pirate Slayer".
- Damn, - the guy snapped his fingers in disappointment, - people really quickly cleared my chip!
- I don't really care, but you don't have to try any further.
- Uh-uh ... huh? - Luffy seemed really puzzled.
- Sheep skin can be pulled over a wolf, though not without flaws, - looking straight into the guy's eyes, explained the captain. - But no matter how hard you try, it is certain that no one will ever be able to pull sheep's clothing over the Sea King. Any marine who has spent even a little time in the waters of the New World will never miss someone like you.
- That's why I don't like old fart like you, - Luffy sighed. - You're always ruining my fun. So come on, formalize this body, - he jerked his finger in the direction of the decapitated carcass of "Mad" Willie, - and we get out of here ... Oh yes, also at the lower decks there are seven women whom these guys most likely kidnapped quite recently right from a small town on the opposite end of this island. When we boarded the ship, they were just having fun with them on the lower decks. Actually, that's why half of them died half-naked.
On the face of the captain, it was as if a huge cloud had found - he turned so dark. Apparently, he disliked such situations as much as Luffy himself and his family. The marine, turning away from the guy, gave several commands to his people in a barking voice. All the soldiers were instantly blown up and developed a violent activity. In less than twenty minutes, the entire deck of the ship was cleared of corpses and even noticeably scrubbed from the blood that had already dried up long ago. True, all the actions of the soldiers were accompanied by very unpleasant sounds, which made the old captain completely unhappy. And judging by the glances he throws towards his people, their near future can hardly be called rosy. Part of the old marine is quite understandable. Against the background of the completely calm Nami - who, no matter how you look at her, cannot be given more than eighteen years old - the reaction of twenty or even thirty-year-old soldiers looked especially pitiful.
As soon as the sailors finished cleaning, a small delegation of women, dressed all in white with red crosses, typical for doctors, embroidered on their clothes, boarded the ship. Descending to the lower decks of the ship, they soon appeared with the victims of the pirates, two of whom the women had to carry on the stretchers they had prudently captured. The captain in this situation again proved his experience. All the soldiers, after cleaning the deck, evaporated in an unknown direction, and he himself went to the bow of the ship, where the whole Straw Hat family had already gathered. And only when the girls who had suffered at the hands of the pirates were safely taken away somewhere inside the base, the lieutenant appeared on the ship again. Approaching the captain, he saluted and handed him an official paper. The elderly marine examined the paper that was handed to him and silently handed it to Luffy.
