Master Jinbe?

After ordering Jack and his crew to leave Fishman Island and to focus their attention on the New World, Kenshin who was left inside the guardhouse was releasing a blackish aura surrounding his entire body forming a shield.

He then unsheathed his sword and tried to transfer the black aura towards his sword, as the black aura flowed towards the sword it suddenly trembled and disappeared.

"*Sigh* For now I can only use this new technique for defense, every I try to transfer it towards my sword it always disappears," Kenshin said to himself as he continued training non-stop.

*Knock!* *Knock!*

"Kenshin are you there?"

Jinbe's voice could be heard from outside, Kenshin who was trying to transfer the aura again stopped and stood up opening the door.

"What is it, Jinbe?" Kenshin asked, confused as to why Jinbe visited him.

Jinbe smiled seeing Kenshin and replied, "I just wanted to visit you and see if I can help with your training."

Hearing that Jinbe wanting to help, Kenshin naturally became happy because ever since he was separated from his master, he only trained by himself and repeatedly practiced what he learned from his master.

"That would be great Jinbe," Kenshin replied merrily.

Entering the guardhouse Jinbe sat down opposite to Kenshin and asked, "Can you tell me what you know about haki?"

Kenshin stared at Jinbe and replied, "I know Observation Haki and Conqueror's Haki which I just learned recently."

Hearing Kenshin's reply Jinbe nodded his head in understanding and said, "Just as I expected, I was really confused as to why you weren't using armament when you fought rear admiral Strawberry in the past."

Kenshin titled his head, confused at Jinbe's words, and asked, "What do you mean?"

Jinbe was silent for a moment thinking how to explain it to Kenshin and said, "There are three types of Haki which are the Observation Haki that grants the user a sixth sense that allows them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, as well as gain limited precognitive abilities."

"Conqueror's Haki which is a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their own willpower over others. This type of Haki cannot be attained through training and only one in several million people are born with this ability."

"And finally Armament Haki that allows the user to use their own spiritual energy to create, in essence, an invisible armor around themself, providing incredible offensive and defensive capabilities."

He then looked at Kenshin and continued, "You only know 2 types of haki which are the observation and the conqueror's haki."

Kenshin who was listening attentively lowered his head while rubbing his chin and was deep in thought.

He then stared at his arm and released a black aura forming a shield around his arm, he then turned his head towards Jinbe and asked. "Jinbe, Is this armament haki?"

Jinbe looked shocked seeing the black aura but he calmed himself down and shook his head saying, "That is not armament haki but an advanced level of conqueror's haki called 'infusion'."

Nodding his head in understanding Kenshin retrieved the black aura and explained, "In the past, my master taught a move called Ryou, he said that the basics of Ryou is founded on the concept of inner flow."

Hearing Kenshin's explanation of Ryou, Jinbe was the one who got confused he was silent for a moment thinking about what type of power is Ryou.

A few moments later Jinbe then stood up and asked, "Kenshin, did your master showed you this Ryou technique?"

"Yeah, he executed it in the past by destroying a huge rock without even touching it. he then told me that I should focus on the flow of energy inside my body and slowly learn how to control it in order to release it outside forming an invisible shield around my body like what I showed you earlier," Kenshin replied and said in full detail.

"I understand now, look at me and tell me if this is the technique your master executed."

Jinbe then took a fighting stance, his right arm that was pulled back suddenly turned black he then punched towards the wall stopping his fist a few inches away.

*Crack!*

The wall that Jinbe aimed starting crumbling and the whole wall got destroyed.

Seeing the technique Jinbe executed Kenshin had an astonished look on his face as he murmured, "Ryou."

After executing his advanced armament, Jinbe looked back at Kenshin and asked, "Is that the technique your master showed you?"

Kenshin nodded his head repeatedly, he then approached Jinbe and said while holding on to his arm, "Jinbe, please teach me that technique you used."

Jinbe smiled seeing Kenshin's reaction and replied, "Isn't that my purpose for coming here?"

With that said, Jinbe started teaching Kenshin the basics of Armament Haki while plundering pirates who occasionally appear to enter the island.
