Syrup island

"Toshiro, wake up. We're here," Nami said, her mind torn between her desire to stab him and her lack of guts to follow through.

"Already here?" Toshiro woke up yawning, stretching as if he hadn't a care in the world.

"Give me something to eat. I'm hungry," Toshiro demanded, sitting up.

"I'm not your servant. Besides, there are inns in the village. Go there," Nami replied, her irritation clear.

"Oh no, I'm so hungry, Nami. I wanna eat you," Toshiro said jokingly, grabbing Nami and pulling her into his arms and Sexualy harassed her.

Nami was shocked by the sudden escalation. Until now, Toshiro had been annoying and harassed her verbally, but this was physical. She froze, her mind racing with anger, fear, and a burning sense of violation. She pushed him away with all her strength, her eyes blazing with fury.

💢 💢 💢 💢

"What do you think you're doing?? You scum, asshole!" Nami shouted, her voice filled with fury as she threw a punch at Toshiro's face, knowing it would likely have little effect on him.

Toshiro caught her fist easily, his expression playful. "You know it's dangerous entering a man's room, right?" he said shamelessly, his tone teasing.

"Huh, you are the one who told me to wake you up, jerk," Nami responded, crossing her arms and glaring at Toshiro as if he were trash.

Toshiro ignored Nami as usual, quickly changing his shirt in front of her without a second thought. He left the ship, and Nami followed him reluctantly.

As they stepped onto Syrup Island, a barrage of slingshots suddenly rained down on them, aiming for their legs. Toshiro reacted swiftly, dodging most of the shots with ease, while Nami barely managed to avoid getting hit.

"What's going on?" Nami shouted, looking around for the source of the attack.

A figure emerged from behind a tree, arms crossed, and shouted, "I am Usopp, leader of the great pirates who reign over this village!"

"People praise me, and then praise me more as 'Captain Usopp'," he said proudly. "If you're thinking of attacking this village, then forget about it," Usopp continued, pointing dramatically.

"My 80 million subordinates won't—" As Usopp continued yapping, he was suddenly interrupted, his sentence cut off by a swift movement.

Toshiro had slashed through Usopp, cutting him in half. Nami gasped, her eyes widening in shock. "Toshiro, what are you doing?!"

"He talks too much," Toshiro said with an emotionless face.

"But killing him, JUST FOR THAT?!" Nami exclaimed, shocked. She had seen Toshiro fight the pirates who mocked him without killing any of them, so for him to kill a civilian just like that was beyond shocking.

Toshiro turned to her, his expression serious. "I know what you're thinking, but you shouldn't consider Buggy as just a clown, although he is one. If it was another crew, I would have killed all of them instantly without a second thought. But Buggy is different. He might possess an ability called Conqueror's Haki of luck, and I don't want to risk getting everything turned against me because of him. I am not strong enough yet to survive anything thrown at me."

"Don't think that just because they were good people and gave their ship for free, they are easy to deal with," Toshiro said with a very serious face.

"Besides, although I'm not yet a pirate by paper, soon I will be. And as a pirate, I can do whatever I want, with the only thing limiting me being myself," Toshiro declared with an emotionless face, making it clear to Nami that he wasn't merely playing the role of a pirate.

"A pirate, huh?" Nami muttered to herself, her tone laced with hatred.

Toshiro, ignoring the corpse of Usopp and the shocked kids hiding in the bushes, walked ahead without a second glance. Meanwhile, Nami clenched her fist and looked down, her eyes hidden under her hair.

Toshiro made his way straight to the village restaurant Meshi that appeared in the show, his stomach growling in anticipation of a good meal.

As Toshiro entered the village restaurant, the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Without wasting a moment, he found a table and sat down, gesturing for Nami to join him.

As the food arrived at the table and Toshiro began to eat, Nami glanced at him.

"Why did we come here in the first place?" Nami asked Toshiro, her confusion evident.

"At first, I was going to kidnap a certain rich blonde girl and threaten her servants to build me a new ship or give me one, but that's unnecessary now because of our encounter with Buggy Pirates," Toshiro explained casually.

Nami glared at Toshiro, her disdain clear. "You're unbelievable, scum, a thug," she said with a sharp edge to her voice.

"So why are we here then?" she asked, still confused.

"To try and hire a crew member," Toshiro replied between mouthfuls of food.

Nami asked curiously, "Who is it?"

Toshiro smirked, his tone mocking. "Someone smarter than you."

💢 💢

Nami's frustration boiled over. "That's not an answer!" she exclaimed, her tone tinged with anger.

"You'll know soon enough," Toshiro replied cryptically, finishing his meal and rising from the table.

"Stop acting mysterious," Nami said, annoyance evident in her voice.

As Nami trailed Toshiro, they eventually arrived at a magnificent mansion. The grand structure, with its two stories, was surrounded by lush gardens and towering trees. Intricate detailing adorned its pristine white exterior, while a majestic driveway led to the entrance porch supported by stately columns. In the tranquil village, the mansion stood as a beacon of opulence and prestige.

"Wow, what an incredible mansion!" Nami exclaimed, her eyes dancing with awe.

Toshiro merely stifled a yawn. "Nothing special," he muttered.

As Nami took in the splendor, a realization dawned on her, and she turned to Toshiro with a mixture of curiosity and disdain. "Is this the mansion of the blonde girl you mentioned?" she inquired, her tone tinged with skepticism.

"I know what you're thinking, but no, unfortunately, she's not my type," Toshiro replied with a nonchalant shrug, his demeanor unwavering.

As Nami continued to chatter, Toshiro stepped forward and rapped on the door, waiting expectantly for a response. Moments later, the door creaked open, revealing a tall figure with an annoyed expression.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" the figure demanded.

Toshiro flashed a smirk and adopted a casual tone. "Yo, hello there"

" you are Captain Kuro, right? Nice to meet you," he said mockingly, his smirk widening.
