Then Lepus said seriously to them.

Hearing Lepus' statement, they frowned slightly.

"What!? But I need the snake woman's help right now!"

And Luffy didn't accept it because his situation was urgent and needed Hancock's help.

".... You want to go to Impel Down, right!? I'll send you there later! Now shut up and get out of there!"

Lepus snapped at Luffy a little in annoyance.

Granny Nyon, who knew Hancock's true conditions then realized something. So, she nodded and decided.

"I understand.... Let's get out."

After saying that, Granny Nyon then turned around and headed towards the exit leaving the palace.

After the others left, Lepus then locked the doors and windows. Then he used his Boundary ability to seal this room. He made this room impenetrable from the outside and soundproof.

When finished, Lepus then climbed into bed and sat next to Hancock who was still lying unconscious. Lepus then stretched out his hands and carefully lifted Hancock's head and rested it on his lap. Then he gently stroked Hancock's head and use his ability.

"Sleep-Wake Boundary.... Hancock, wake up...."

Lepus whispered softly to Hancock.

Before long, Hancock's eyes seemed to tremble and slowly opened. And the first thing Hancock saw was Lepus' face smiling gently at her. Hancock initially thought this was just a dream. But, she clearly felt her head being gently caressed by Lepus and she was also laying on his lap.

Even though she was awake, Hancock keep laying on Lepus' lap and let her hair be stroked gently. Hancock felt warm and comfortable with Lepus' attention to her. Hancock then said a bit weakly while looking at Lepus.
