A Fallen Hero

Near the island's port entrance, the fight between Enel and Katakuri was getting heated as the two of them were going all out.

Katakuri's advantage in battles was always lied in his mastery of Observation Haki and the ability to see the future, and by combining that with his devil fruit power he can become a formidable opponent to most of the pirates.

But the Enel of right now is far stronger that he was 16 years ago, his mastery over Observation Haki exceeded even Katakuri, as he's able to see far more to the future than him, his speed could be compared to the fastest people in the world and his Armament Haki is also way stronger. On top of that, Enel already achieved an Awakening during his fight against Admiral Moumosagi during Egg Head so now he has everything that makes Katakuri a formidable enemy, but better.

<10,000 Volt Vari>

Enel unleashed a stream of lightning bolts from his finger tips to attack Katakuri. The latter used his stretched mochi arm to punch them away at a high speed before he lunged at Enel while swinging his giant Haki-Coated sword horizontally at him.

*Clang*-*Clang* Enel used Advanced Armament Haki on his golden staff and parried Katakuri's attacks before he charged his left hand with electricity and sent massive beam of lightning towards him, effectively pushing him a few meters back and leaving him vulnerable to attack.

"Damn you, ENEL!!...I'm not gonna be defeated today until I see I see that fucker Ashen dead!!!" Katakuri screamed madly as he lost control over his emotions. The amount of anger and hatred he bared for Ashen and his crew for what happened to his siblings and mother culminated over the years, until he finally exploded at this moment.

"If you're missing your momy that much, then let me plan your reunion!..." Enel said with a smirk whille swinging his golden staff "…The bitch was strong and pretty scary, but in the end only the strong will prevail…even the great Whitebeard met his demise at the Summit War. If you're not willing to get stronger and improve yourself then sooner or later someone will come and surpass you and that's exactly what happened to your momy…remember how you beat the dog shit out of me and Moria? We'll time for pay back"

Katakuri's bulging forehead veins became more visible as he tightly gripped his sword "I'll make sure to cut you into pieces with my sword!"

<Flash>

Enel gave him a mocking grin before he used his lightning power along with Soru to close the distance between them in a split minute and then appeared on top of Katakuri mid-air. Enel then concentrated all of his electrical power into a single point and then released it as a powerful burst downwards.

<Gigavolt>

"What the--?!!" The attack took Katakuri by surprise and was crushed underneath Enel's power, though he didn't suffer that much damage and he quickly got on his feet again.

"Power Mochi!!" Katakuri used his Awakened power to form several large mochi fists from the ground and imbued them with Armament Haki and then punched Enel with them.

Enel retaliated by slamming his staff into the ground while using his Awakened power and prompted several large, serpentine dragons made of electricity and launched them at Katakuri's mochi fist.

"60,000,000 Volts Thunder Dragons!!"

*Lightning* The thunder dragons proceeded to attack the mochi fists and destroyed them before Enel used his future vision while dashing at Katakuri before he engaged in a close fight with him.

Katakuri tried to see the future as well, but it was ineffective since Enel can see almost double the amount and after seeing an opening, Enel seized the chance to strike Katakuri and deal a fatal blow.

It's a very long time since Enel learned Emission and during his spars with Ashen and Calvin which happened on almost daily basis, Enel always asked for advice on how to improve his Haki and learn Internal Destruction which is a step further than Emission.

As the left hand of the Pirate King, it was only natural for him to aim that high.

'Let the unused Haki flow into your fist…When you make contact, let your Haki inside with a target' Enel closed before he channeled his fist with electricity while letting his Haki flow around it before he punched Katakuri in the face.

*BOOOM* The moment Enel's fist met Katakuri's body, he let his Haki flow inside of his body and dealt massive internal damage using Internal Destruction technique, before the electricity wrapped around Katakuri and shock him after.

"AGHHHH!!--" Katakuri tried to protect himself from the attack using Haki around his body, but it was useless since Enel's Haki was far stronger than his and the attack rendered him uncounsious.

"We won't make the same mistake of letting you live twice" Enel said before he stabbed Katakuri in the heart with his golden staff, effectively ending his life at last…and thus the Ghost of the Katakuri Family failed to fulfil his promise and extract revenge on the Ashen Pirates and died with regrets

Enel still had a lot of energy left after his fight, so he walked around looking for a new opponent.

A few minutes later…

Somewhere outside the island's town, Ian and Crocodile were having a heated battle, the previous Warlord had the advantage of wielding a strong Logia fruit while the Demonic Captain had an Advanced Haki, the strong Rokushiki Art, and the destructive Hasshoken martial art that was passed down from his family that originates from Kano Country.

"Desert Grande Espada!!" Crocodile summobed a blade if sand that erupted from the ground and tried to slice Ian in half. The latter quickly used Tekkai and Haki on his entire body to protect himself before he swung his metal bat diagonally with so much force that he sent a large flying slash of green energy towards Crocodile and jumped at him at the same time.

Crocodile used his sand as a shield to block it but Ian who used Soru and Geppo was already on top of him and performing a somersault mid-air while swing his Haki-Coated bat.

"Dragon Slayer!!"

*BOOOM* The attack generated a shockwave before Ian kicked Crocodile with his heel and sent him crashing back before he finally landed on his feet.

"What a tough motherfucker!" Ian remarked while resting his metal bat on his shoulder, his whole body was covered in bruises and cuts. Ian was still on guard waiting for Crocodile's next move.

"Ian!" A voice interrupted Ian's thought, when he turned around, he saw Ashen.

"Oh, Ashen you're done with your fight already? I guess that Red Haired bastard and Garp were not as strong as we though, hahahahaha!!" Ian said approaching Ashen with a proud smile, knowing his captain defeated two legendary figures.

"Yes…*Smile*…" A mischievous grin appeared on Ashen's face before he took out his sword and cut Ian's arm who let his guard down.

"Murunfuffuffu!! Are you stupid…you think that shit head could win against both Akagami and Garp at the same time? Don't make me laugh!" Devon said.

Ian's left arm flew in the air and blood dripped from his left shoulder like a river. His skin went pale, and he started sweating heavily and he had shocked expressions in his face before what seemed to be Ashen transformed back to her original look to appear as none other than Catarina Devon.

Ian frowned at her before he used Soru and smacked her face with his metal bat while generating a Hasshoken shockwave and emitting Haki from it, sending her crashing into a large boulder behind.

"You fucking bitch…" Ian bite his lips from pain before he cracked a smile "…those pathetic tricks won't be enough to take me down!!"

When Crocodile saw Ian's bad state, he seized the chance to attack him. The latter saw him and got on a defensive stance.

"You're still trying to fight with that injury…you should run away before you lose your life mad man!" Crocodile said while slashing his hook at Ian's throat. The latter used his bat to block it and then sent several Haki-Coated Rankyaku wind slashes which Crocodile used his hook to deflect.

"H-hahaha…whether it's an arm, a leg, or even my head. I never run away from a fight…call me crazy, but that's just my way" Ian said, he looked like he was going to collapse any second before he started banging his bat on the ground "You hear that? That's the sound of Lucille being hungry, and your head is her next meal!"

"Bring it on then!" Crocodile said as the two of them clashed again. Ian this time used everything in his power to defeat Crocodile without holding back since he was growing tired and weak by the second from the excessive blood loss from his missing left arm.

And when he finally found an opening, he didn't hesitate to deliver a powerful finisher move even at the risk of suffering another serious injury.

"WRAAAAHH!!!...*BANG*--!!!"

"…Rest in piss bozo, you'll never be missed!" Ian said smashing Crocodile's head and knocking him out cold, before he used what's left of his strength to smash his head into pieces.

After that Ian collapse on the ground, unconscious and drowning in his own blood.

Minutes later, Catarina Devon went after Ian again and tried to kill him while he was unconscious before Yamamoto appeared and he stopped her and the two proceeded to clash after that.

While Calvin was holding back Mihawk, Yamato, Urouge and Enel who joined her quickly dealt with Laffitte, Burgess, Vasco Shot and Doc Q before Shanks crew finnaly moved.

And the first fights were Yamato and Benn Beckman, Enel and Yasopp and Urouge versus Gab. The rest of the Red Hair Officers were dealing with the Gifters, Shiki's mutated animals and Ashen's lower ranking members.

At the same time the epic battle of, Garp, Shanks against Ashen was reaching its peak as all the three figures were going all out.

The sound of their clashes could be heard across the island.

"Prepare to be eclipsed by the overwhelming might of the sun's fury!" With a loud battle cry, Ashen jumped in the air spreading his wings, the shadow of his figure that was emanating solar energy and could be seen against the setting sun. His hair and eyebrows were a wild mass of fire and a sinister grin stretching his face.

"Solar Incarnation…Sun God Ra!!"

"XAHAHA!! I'll burn you the fuck up!" Ashen proceeded to land in front of Shanks and Garp before he thrusted his sword into the ground and several fast solar beams launched from the ground around Shanks and Garp.

Shanks used his sword to deflect them while Garp used Soru to dodge but one of the beams managed to pierce his right shoulder.

"AGHH!!--" Garp threw a mouthful of blood before Ashen seized the chance to attack him, but not before Shanks stopped his way and slashed him in the chest with his Conqueror's Infused sword.

Ashen used his sword to block but was pushed back after that and Garp immediately attack him.

"You little punk eat this!!…" He proceeded to leap in the air infusing his fist with Armament and Conqueror's Haki and then delivered a massively powerful punch with shockwaves that encompassed an enormous radius, taking out hundreds of Ashen and the Cross Guild's Crew.

"…Galaxy Impact!!!"

The attack did not only destroy the entire town while taking out hundreds of Ashen and Cross Guild's crew it also dealt some damage to Ashen himself.

Ashen who slowly got on his feet was attacked by Shanks who didn't leave him anytime to rest. Shanks combined his fiery sword and Conqueror's Haki to send a devastating flying slash at him.

"Devine Fury!!"

"Celestial Cleave!!" Ashen did the same and sent a flying sword slash as well.

*BOOOM* The two slashes exploded upon impact leaving trails of lightning surging from the location of impact.

Immediately after, Ashen used Inferno Jet Steps to lunge at Shanks without giving him the time to react, Ashen clenched his fist and used very martial art and ability in his arsenal and combined them into one single punch. He Infused his fist with Armament and Conqueror's Haki and then punch Shanks with all his might.

"Cosmic Annihilation!!!"

*KA-BOOOOM* The punch generated massive shockwave sand caused a lot of internal and external damage on Shanks before he was sent flying dozens of meters away giving Ashen the perfect opportunity to take down Garp.

When Garp saw that, he quickly attacked Ashen again before the latter did. He proceeded to punch Ashen in the face with Haki, creating a big explosion and injuring him.

Ashen didn't waste time lying on the ground and quickly got up and attacked Garp before Shanks return, he sent fast concentrated solar beam towards him, the latter easily dodged it but not the before the beam bounced off a large rock and flew back at Garp piercing his back and taking him by surprise.

"Damn it!! This brat is quite tricky!" Garp cursed loudly while holding his injury before Ashen used Observation Killing and dashed at Garp, stabbing him in the stomach.

"ARGHH!!--" Garp's expressions darkened before both Ashen and him punched each other away, causing another big explosion.

Koby and the SWORD Secret Special Force were fighting the Ashen Pirates near them.

"Garp-san!!!" Koby shouted from shock, all the other SWORD members had the same reaction before Koby rushed towards them.

"Wait, don't be stupid!!" Prince Grus shouted at him, but Koby didn't listened and hurried for Garp's rescue stopping Ashen's way, Grus and Kujaku followed him after that.

"Stay away Koby!…Don't lose your head!!...justice will prevail!" Garp declared while lying on the ground drowning in his own blood.

"Wrong! Whoever wins decide what justice is…" Ashen said before he rushed towards him.

He first kicked Koby in the face before Grus attacked him from the side utilizing his devil fruit power. He called forth a massive, cushiony wave of clay to trapped Ashen with it.

The latter used his fire to counter it and then grabbed Grus by the head and spun around gathering momentum and then he threw him to the sky outside the island before he fell into the sea drowning.

Kujaku tried to hit Ashen with her whip after that, but he easily grabbed it and pulled her closer and punched her in the face, breaking her nose and her teeth. She collapsed on the ground unconscious after that.

When Koby saw that he got extremely furious and attacked Ashen. The latter responded by swinging his sword at Kobby who was blocking his way.

Surprisingly enough, Garp appeared in front of Ashen and blocked it with his crossed Haki-Coated arms. But Ashen surprised him with another attack, he aimed his palm at his forehead and fired a concentrated solar beam.

Garp barely avoided it by tilting his head and Ashen attacked him yet again, except this time Garp wasn't fast enough to react and Ashen stabbed him in the stomach before he finished him by another stab, this time in the heart.

Garp's lifeless body collapsed on the ground.

"I don't feel like hearing you whining you little bitch" Ashen said to Koby in irritation and then proceeded to cut his head off.

A few seconds later, Shanks finally returned again.

In this day at Ascendance Valley, the legend of Garp the Marine Hero came to an end with his death at the hands of the Pirate King Ashen.
