Sotohebi

The group arrived at a huge tarp with Iceberg. Iceberg said "Are you ready?" the crew nodded excitedly, Iceberg smiled and pulled off the tarp "Here's you new ship!" the tarp came off and revealed a massive ship, with a sunflower/lion on the front.

Viper said "Is that a sunflower or a lion?"

Iceberg said "I think it's a sunflower, but you'll have to ask Franky." Viper nodded and said "Speaking of that, where is he?" Iceberg sighed and the rest of the crew looked over as well.

Iceberg said "He was afraid, he wouldn't be able to ask no to you guys so he's probably hiding somewhere." as he said that, there was a bang and several screams behind him, the group turned to look.

Franky was chasing one of his goons, completely naked. The goon had a pair of speedos and was running as fast as he could, he screamed "Straw hat! Catch!" and he threw the speedos at Luffy. Franky screamed "Bastard! Give me my damn speedos!" Luffy stretched out his arm and grabbed the speedos out of the air and said "Shishishi if you want these, you have to join my crew!" Viper grinned.

Franky stood there and said "You think I need them?!" he did his signature pose "I don't because i'm SUUUUPERRRR! YOW!" there were screams, gasps, and surprisingly a few 'Wow!'s, Viper and Sanji turned to the wows and saw it was a couple girls. Viper said "Hey love-cook, maybe if you get naked right now, you'll get one of these ladies. You're in front of a whole town after all." Sanji seemed to be in a struggle, Nami hit both of them over the head and said "None of you are getting naked!" Zoro laughed at them, but choked when Nami turned to him and said "What are you laughing at?" before she hit him too.

Robin crossed her arms and said "Don't worry, let me handle it. Dos fleur! Grab!" every single male in a 1 mile radius winced at the sight of Franky's balls being crushed. Franky himself was rolling on the floor, until the Franky family showed up.

Viper looked at Robin and said "I really hope that isn't gonna be a regular move..." Robin winked at him and said "Who knows? Maybe the next time you decide to bang an enemy, you'll think about it." Viper shivered and said "Yes, big sis..." before yelling at Franky "By the way, if they popped I think I can just install new ones!" Franky winced.

The Franky family pleaded for Franky to follow his dreams, and leave "You helped us enough big bro! We don't need you anymore!" Franky had tears in his eyes and said "You bastards! I'll miss you guys!" The Franky family cheered and Franky got on the new ship.

Franky said "Hello! Need a SUUPERRR shipwright?" the crew cheered and laughed, but stopped when a cannonball splashed into the water next to them. The crew turned to see Garp, with a speaker, Luffy said "Set sail!!!" and the crew got into action immediately.

Garp said over the megaphone "Luffy! I got orders to capture you! So see you at the bottom of the sea!" that most certainly didn't help. Viper stood on the back railings and shook his fist at Garp "You damn old man! Don't think I haven't forgotten you crushed my princess dream! I haven't been able to get that dream back for days! If you weren't so far away, i'd teach you a les-" a marine crashed into him.

Franky said "Are you waiting for that long nose guy?" Luffy waved him off and said nervously "Nah we'll be okay." shaking a bit with a cold sweat on his forehead.

Viper threw the marine back at Garp and said "Stop throwing marines I don't know at me! You damn old fart!" another marine came flying and Viper dodged it and laughed "HAHA Old man, you missed!haha-" he got hit by the second one. Koby and Helmeppo got up and were confused, until Viper grabbed them both and threw them back "Damn bastard! You threw two?!"

Ussop finally showed up and was yelling from the coast "Hey guys! You forgot me! I came back to be your vice-captain!" the crew was silent and Ussop said "Come on guys I was just playing around!" no response, Ussop was getting pretty worried.

Viper shook his head and chuckled "Looks like we're getting a new sniper." he sighed and the rest of the crew was sad, until they heard "PLEASE LET ME BACK I'M SORRY! I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!" Luffy immediately stretched out his hand and brought Ussop on the ship and they started crying. After they were finished Franky said "Before we leave, we need a name for the ship!"

Luffy said "I got one! Bear! Lion! Gorilla!" Ussop chopped at his head and said "No!"

Luffy said "Then Tiger Wolf Lion!" Ussop chopped him again and said "What's with the animals?!"

Luffy said "Squid Octopus Chimpanzee!" Ussop chopped him again "That didn't even have lion in it!"

Franky said "Bakaberg thought Thousand Sunny was a good name, but I think-" Luffy said "WOW! That's much better than Dango Gorilla Dumpling I just thought of!" Ussop chopped him and said "Are you playing a word game?!"

Zoro said "Better than Lionel Master that I thought of.

Robin said "And Darkness."

Sanji said "And Monsieur Sunflower"

Viper said "And King of the Snakes" Nami hit him and said "That's your bounty name!"

Franky held up his hand and said "Wait guys I got a name for it New Franky Lion gan-" Luffy said "I like the name Ice-boots came up with" Franky said "Lion gang Cham-" The rest of the crew agreed, and Franky sulked on the deck, drawing circles.

Sanji said "Franky we gotta go now!" Franky got up and ran below the deck and said "Prepare for my secret weapon!" and disappeared.

Viper stood on the railings and said "Hey old man! You tired? I bet you can't ev-" he was hit with another marine, he threw the marine back and said "Fuck! Old man let me finish!" Garp dragged out a giant cannon ball and started swinging it on a chain. Viper ran back and said "I hope your secret weapon is amazing because we've got a problem back here!" the crew turned to look and paled.

Garp threw the ball and said "Bye Luffy!" the ball flew towards the Sunny.

The crew watched as a giant cannon ball came flying at them, Franky said "Hold on to something! Coup de burst!" the Sunny shot into the air and flew away. The marines were stunned and Garp said "Well. I've never seen a ship fly away before!" Aokiji was sleeping on the deck and lifted his eye mask and watched them go.

The Sunny landed far way and the crew celebrated, the new ship and Franky joining. Viper grabbed Frabky and said "Show me the lab!" Franky nodded and they went to the lab.

All of Viper's earlier tools and equipment was there and the room was huge. It was filled with new tools and machines, there was a table in the middle of the room, Viper was amazed and excited "Wow! Want a quick upgrade?" he turned his eyeballs to Franky and cackled sinisterly, as he slid his goggles onto his eyes. Franky shivered and ran out of the room.

Franky reached the deck and said "Someone help me!" the crew turned around and saw Franky running towards them, and then Viper tackling him to the ground and dragging him back to the lab cackling like a madman. Franky looked towards the crew and said "Guys! Help!" they turned their heads and whistled, Franky shed a tear and Viper said "Don't worry! I'll make you better, faster, STRONGER! HEHEHEHEH!" Franky screamed "HE'S CRAZY!" Chopper ran after them, in case Franky needed a doctor.

The crew watched them go and Nami said "Should we have helped him?" Robin said "Do you want to be his new test subject?" Nami shivered and said "On second thought, I don't think it'll be a problem.."

Franky was on a table and Viper was tinkering with his arms "So it just comes off? Does it consume cola to shoot your fists?" Franky nodded, Viper muttered something and brought a box, he opened it and dug out a few dials and said "This is a jet dial. I can put them into your fists so that when you shoot you fist, you get an extra speed boost! Also, how much of you isn't cyborg?"

Franky was intrigued and replied "Only my back. Why?" Viper hesistated and said "I have some upgrade plans with dials... but I don't know if you can stand the recoil." He held up a dial and said "This is a reject dial. It stores whatever hits it and then causes an impact 10x greater. Let's say for example I punch the dial, it will impact 10x my punch. I want to put it in your fists, but the recoil is quite severe. Then again I haven't seen a cyborg use it before."

Franky was surprised and said "Really? Let's do it then." Viper grinned and switched his kimono with his lab coat and got to work, he first put the jet dials as thrusters for his fists, then fixed the reject dials in to his fists, he got another one from one of the stores. Viper finished and said "I also have thunder dials, flame dials... There are also water dials etc..." he widened his eyes and said "Franky, do you know anywhere we can get seastone? Maybe we can mix your fists with it, only on the outside and you can deal damage to logia types!"

Franky shook his arms a bit, and felt good and said "That's a high cost product even on the black market.. It's basically owned mostly by marines." Viper sighed and said "We only have a little bit and it's to pin down Nami's weapon when we make adjustments."

Franky said "Can I actually see that thing?" Viper smiled and nodded as the two went to find Nami.

They reached the deck and Ussop said "you were gone for so long, what did you do?" Viper ginned viciously and said "Franky. Show 'em." Franky grinned and threw a punch at the sea and said "Strong Jet-Right!" his fist shot out of his arm like a missile. He punched and it hit the sea, almost invisible. Ussop gasped and said "You put jet dials into his fists?!"

Viper nodded and kept his goggles on and cackled "I also put reject dials into his knuckles, I'm thinking of adding thunder dials and fire dials. Maybe I can combine them together and have his fists coated in Thunderfire when he punches!" he turned his head and said "Anybody want upgrades? Graduate from the weakling trio and move on to the monster trio! Or even higher! I can make you stronger than Luffy! THE STRONGEST ON THE CREW! KEHAHAHA!" Nami smashed his head into the deck and snapped "You crazy bastard! Change back!"

Viper got up and rubbed his face mumbling "Damn witch..." as the rest of the crew laughed. Viper looked at Nami and said "How was Nimbus now that I put the eisen dial in him?" Nami took him out and made him a staff, then she said "Great! I can block attacks now! Also he can create Iron clouds now too." he made Nimbus spew iron clouds and turned the clouds into a whip and cracked it in the air. Viper said "That's great! How are the normal features?" Nami said "Great any cloud I make is really strong, but i'm not used to combat so I feel like it's still easy to avoid.." Viper smiled and said "Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it soon. If you learn a staff art and made get some haki, you could be really strong! You could use the staff and coat the tips in different clouds before attacking with them or distract the opponent with your attacks, while you set up a big storm!" Nami thought about it and said "Woah! You're right!"

Viper said "Robin, come with me for a second. Franky go back to the lab with Ussop, i'll be right there." they nodded and left, and Robin followed Viper. They went to a room and Viper said "How are you feeling now?"

Robin smiled and said "Good. Didn't realize you cared about me that much." she teased him a bit, Viper pouted and said "Of course I do! You're my big sister." he knocked on her head and said "I thought you were smart." he shook his head and Robin hugged him. He hugged her back and she whispered "Thank you Viper." Viper chuckled and said "No problem, next thing I'm gonna say is kinda crazy but hear me out." She broke off and looked at him.

Viper said "Okay so I wanted to know if you were happy with your devil fruit. If not I can start researching how to take them out of a person and we can get you a new one! A super powerful one, I wish we kept Enel I could've taken him hostage and we could've potentially got the Rumble fruit! I re-" Robin put her finger on his lips and said "Absolutely not! I forbid you from researching anything with devil fruits anymore! Especially removing them! We had a talk last time, didn't you see your bounty poster?! It said 'Only Alive'! The government are going to come after us now, if they find us after you successfully complete your research the world will end. You realize that the World Government isn't a justice group don't you?"

Viper was silent for a moment before saying "I know but if you're uncomfortable with your fruit because of what happened i'd rather you have something else.." Robin smiled and said "I made peace with my past, thanks to you and the crew. I don't need to switch fruits, also i've had it for so long it would be hard to get used to a new one." she giggled and Viper smiled, before sighing "I don't know why Vegapunk would use his brain to help the World Government-" he frowned and held his head.

Robin said "Viper? Are you okay?" Viper let go of his head and took a deep breath and said "Yeah, I don't know why but I feel weird.. Like as if I was contradicting myself." He sighed and said "Anyway, probably something before I lost my memories. Let's go back." he smiled and brought Robin back to the deck and walked over to Zoro and sat down.

Zoro looked at Viper and said "What is it?" Viper said "Did you break Yubashiri?" Zoro's eyes opened wide and he said "How did you know that?" Viper said "I noticed you didn't use it when you fighting the marines a few days ago, can I see it?" Zoro said "I saw a guy was stunned from seeing your giant snake form and slashed at him, he only touched the tip and corroded a quarter of the blade." he took out Yubashiri and unsheathed it and revealed that 30% of the blade was gone and a little bit was still rusted. Viper said "May I?" Zoro nodded and handed it over, Viper took it and looked it over "It is definitely ruined, it's not a katana anymore.." Zoro sighed, but Viper continued "I can give it new life."

Zoro was stunned and said "What do you mean?!" a bit angrily. Viper put his hand up and said "I wanted a sword myself and I had a design in mind. Since there are no decent sword smiths anywhere around here, I can only make it myself. I don't know what you planned to do with Yubashiri, but with your permission I want to try and give it a new life. With me." he silently looked at Zoro and bowed his head slightly, waiting for Zoro to respond. The others on the crew watched silently.

Zoro was silent before saying "Are you sure you can give it a new life?" Viper said with his head bowed "I can. Definitely." Zoro was quiet, he respected his swords a lot, it was a hard decision for him to make, finally he sighed and said "Fine, but I want to watch and help." Viper looked up and smiled "Wouldn't have it any other way." he stood up and said "Come with me." before he and Zoro went to the lab.

Viper showed up in the lab and said to the rest inside "Franky I need a steel cutter and an extremely strong hammer." Franky nodded and brought the tools to him. Viper turned to Zoro and said "I need to take it apart and shatter the blade. If possible I would like to keep the hilt, do you know how to wrap?" Zoro nodded and Viper got to work.

He took apart the sword, separating Yubashiri into the blade, hilt, and guard. He gave the hilt to Zoro and drew up his plans for his sword and showed everyone "What do you guys think?" They looked at the sword and Zoro said "A Macuahuitl?" Viper nodded and said "We still have enough of the sword left." Zoro said "What are you going to use for the body?" Viper rubbed his chin and said "I want to use wood, but I don't think it will be solid enough. I think we should use metal."

Zoro stopped him and said "In my personal opinion, you should use wood. We will make a new hilt and use the same wrap from Yubashiri and you can fit the guard into the body as a design. You're afraid that it would break easily right?" Viper nodded and Zoro smirked "It doesn't just fall apart, it depends on the swordsman's skill." Viper grinned and nodded.

Viper cut the part that had rust on it off and smashed the blade to pieces before he snapped his fingers and said "Perfect! Franky do you have anymore Adam wood left?" Franky nodded and said "I do, just in case something happens to the ship. You want to use it for the sword?" Viper nodded seriously and said "If i'm going to make this sword, I will only use the best." Zoro smiled and Franky nodded and went to get the wood, he came back and said "Try and get it right the first time. This wood IS for the ship after all." Viper nodded and the group started working.

Zoro finished wrapping Yubashiri's old wrap onto the swords handle and said "It's finished." Viper held it in his hands and the sword vibrated, he was shocked and said to Zoro "Is it supposed to do that?" Zoro was also shocked and said "I only know the sword does that when it's extremely happy." Viper looked at the sword, it was around 80 cm. Pieces of Yubashiri stuck out of both sides, and the guard was embedded into the Adam wood, along the Adam wood was a carving of a Quetzalcoatl that ran along the blade and stopped at the square tip. The hilt was wrapped with Yubashiri's old wrap and the end of it was a wooden ring.

Viper held it up and said "Should it still be named Yubashiri?" Zoro said "No, Yubashiri is gone. It needs a new name." Viper looked at the blade and said "What about Sotohebi?" The sword buzzed and the blades glinted. Zoro grinned and said "It likes it." Viper was staring at the blade and grinned and asked "Do you need a sheath?" the sword didn't move, and Viper grinned even wider "I didn't think so." Viper lifted his goggled and put his kimono back on, before saying "So Zoro, wanna help me train?" with a vicious grin on his face. Zoro grinned and said "I hope you don't regret that." and walked out, Viper chuckled and followed him. Franky and Ussop followed after them.

Viper and Zoro stood in front of each other and drew their weapons. Viper gripped Sotohebi tightly and said "I apologize for making you fight him, but I need to do this for you to be reborn." the sword buzzed and Viper smiled "Let's show him what we got." Viper lifted his sword and took a deep breath before shooting towards Zoro slashing his sword diagonally.

Zoro blocked the slash with both swords and felt his swords buzz aggressively, he grinned and slashed back. Viper blocked his swords and pushed them off before slashing at Zoro's stomach. Zoro jumped back and charged forward slashing both his swords forward, Viper turned to the side and slid the swords off with his own before slashing towards Zoro's head, causing him to dodge.

The crew watched Viper and Zoro spar, Robin said "Where did Viper get that? Is that Zoro's broken sword?" Ussop and Franky nodded and Franky said "Viper asked Zoro for Yubashiri, and gave the sword a new life. He named it Sotohebi, I don't know why he wanted to fight Zoro right away though. I think Viper knows he won't win." Robin looked pensive.

Sanji said "Because If he doesn't fight Zoro, the sword won't respect him. From what I know about mosshead, he treats all his swords with extreme care, and his swords respected him. If Viper doesn't even have the courage to fight his sword's previous owner then he wouldn't be qualified to use it." Franky said "That's pretty philosophical of you curly-brow." Sanji exhaled a mouthful of smoke and said "I do what I can."

Viper got slashed across the chest and put Sotohebi down. Zoro sheathed his swords and said "You have never used a sword before, and it's not a single edged one either. Your sword has no form, and you can't use it effectively." Viper sighed and looked at Sotohebi "Sorry." as he turned around and walked away, he heard Zoro's voice again "But." he stopped, but didn't look back, and Zoro continued "You care for the sword and had the courage to fight a battle you knew you would lose. I think Sotohebi will be happy with you." and with that Zoro walked away. Viper was silent before he went to the other end of the Sunny and started creating his own sword style.

The crew was shocked, Franky said "Did he just acknowledge Viper?" Sanji silently nodded.
