Chapter 12

After Arlong retreated into a corner, Fisher Tiger looked at Ragna and said, "Ragna, same goes for you. Do not act excessively while on the crew. Your actions will affect us as well."

Ragna simply nodded. He was aware of the situation he was in. If he killed a few humans, it would make the fishman race look bad.

After a while and the situation calmed down, Ragna looked at the person next to him and said, "What do you think, Jimbei? Will there be a change in Arlong after what the captain said?"

Jimbei said in a low voice as he looked at Arlong, who was grumbling angrily, "He will listen to what the captain has to say, after all, he respects him. But he still has a hatred for humans in him. So I am not entirely sure what will happen in the future."

Ranga said, "How about you? Do you have such hatred?"

After thinking about the few marines he was about to kill a while ago, just as Jimbei was about to answer, they heard a voice, "Everybody come inside. I have something to talk about."

Then everyone went inside and waited for Fisher Tiger to speak.

"We are not a community of murderers. What you were about to do there was going to get us in a lot of trouble." Fisher Tiger said.

"But Ti-Aniki, they were aiming to kill you. It is quite normal for us to react harshly when we are very angry." Jimbei said.

"If we kill them, we will be no different from them. We are not doing this to avenge the discrimination we have experienced for years. That's not what I did in Mary Geoise. What I did there was to save the oppressed. We only fight for freedom, nothing else.

If we hold grudges and try to take revenge on humans, they will want to take revenge on us too. And then other fishmen will be punished just for what we have done. We can rob our enemies, but we will never cross that line! We don't kill anyone!" Fisher Tiger said.

Arlong said, "Are you worried that humans will take revenge on us? If that happens, we'll kill them all! We must be ruthless so that humans should tremble in front of us! Then they wouldn't even think of responding to us! They are not yet aware of our strength. We have to engrave that in their minds, make them fear us."

At that moment, Ragna slapped him in the face, preventing him from speaking any further.

"What are you doing!" Arlong said angrily to Ragna.

"Take heed of what Aniki said." Jimbei said calmly, tugging at him from the side.

Later that night, Ragna and Fisher Tiger were drinking and talking together on the deck.

"Arlong's hostility to humanity is annoying, right?" Fisher Tiger said.

"Well, at least he's made some progress compared to his old self. Before, he used to kill them without listening to you, and he's also used to me being on the crew." said Ragna.

"Yeah, seriously everyone has made great progress." Fisher Tiger said and then muttered, "Except me."

At that moment, they noticed that Jimbei was approaching.

"Ti-aniki." Jimbei said as he walked up to them.

"Queen Otohime's ideal is wonderful. But what is the difference between me and Arlong in her eyes?" Fisher Tiger said, and then he looked at the bottle in his hand.

Ragna put his hand on his shoulder and said, "You may not realize it, but you have changed a lot and you continue to change."

Fisher Tiger stared at him for a moment and then, looking out to sea, said, "I'm not so sure myself."

A long time passed, and Sun pirates began to approach an island to meet their needs.

"We won't stay here long, we'll leave right after we've resupplied!" Fisher Tiger said aloud.

"Okay captain!" The crew standing on deck said aloud.

After they tied the ship to harbor, some went to buy supplies, while others went to have fun.

Ragna also felt that he was being watched as he went to explore the island. After he peeked a few times, he became aware of the people watching him.

They looked like a normal villager in their appearance, but when he saw them for the first time, he felt that they were quite strong.

After passing through the streets a few times, Ragna suddenly accelerated and disappeared, surprising his followers.

"Disappeared, what do we do now?" Said one of the people who were secretly following Ragna.

"He'll be back on the ship anyway, so while one of us waits there, the other will look for him." The other person said.

"Well then, you call him. Remember, when you find him, you must let me know. It will be easier for us to catch him together." He said.

Later, they both separated and went their separate ways.

"Villager? I think you are too strong to be a villager. I wouldn't recommend lying." Ragna said and then reached for his sword at his waist.

"We're also part-time bounty hunters. Of course, you caught our attention as your head was also very valuable." He said.

At that moment, Ragna noticed his strangeness. He spoke in a slow rhythm from the very beginning, and it was as if he was waiting for something to come.
