Unexpected tragedy

Three weeks had already passed from that night. Both Bella and Rachel followed their daily routine. She asked her boss for permission to work online after what happened in the party. Her boss was a nice lady,so she agreed to let her work from home and also reprimand the supervisor.

She was working on her laptop but suddenly she got a call from Mrs. Allen, Rachel's teacher. She answered the call thinking something might have happened at the school.

Bella: Hello! Mrs. Allen.

Mrs. Allen: Ms. Bella. Rachel has passed out during class. We have taken her to city hospital. Please can you come fast there.

Bella: What? How did it happened?

Mrs. Allen: She was sitting in the class but suddenly she put her head down. At first I thought she was sleeping in class but when I tried to wake her up ,she didn't woke up.

Bella: How is she now? Has she woken up?

Mrs.Allen: She is still unconscious. She is in the emergency room right now.

Bella: I'm coming soon.

With that she hang up the phone and reached for her purse. She quickly locked the door and hailed a taxi. Soon she also reached the hospital. She asked the directions for emergency room and found Mrs. Allen outside one of them.

Bella: Mrs. Allen ,has the doctor said anything? What happened to her?

Mrs.Allen: They haven't come out yet. Let's wait for the doctor first.

They both sat on the bench and give courage to each other. When she heard the news, Bella was nervous. She knew Rachel was weak from birth,but she was just fine now.

Bella: Mrs. Allen, thank you for your help. If you need to leave,you can. I'm here now to take care of her.

Mrs. Allen: Yeah I need to leave. The school is still ongoing. Ms. Bella,if you need any help,please do let me know. Also please keep me updated about her condition. Let's hope nothing serious happen to her.

Bella just replied with a hum. Mrs. Allen left and Bella looked at the door of emergency room. Actually she wanted to cry so hard but she need to be strong for her daughter.

Her face was worried and tense. It's been nearly half an hour since Rachel is inside. God knows what would have happened. Suddenly a doctor reach her from the room.

Doctor:Where is the miss who came with the child?

Bella:She is her teacher,she left some minutes ago. I'm mother of the child. What happened doctor?

Doctor:Miss we need to prepare for her surgery as soon as possible. She is having a brain tumor. But don't worry it is still in the initial stage. It can be cured after a surgery.

Bella was devastated when she heard it all. She started crying but still asked.

Bella:How much does the surgery costs doctor?

Doctor:It is 300,000 dollars. Please settle the payment fast so we can start the surgery.

Bella:I need some time to arrange the money.

Doctor:You need to hurry up. If you have any questions regarding the surgery you can meet me directly.

With that said,the doctor left. She sat on the bench crying. She don't know how did this happened and from where would she get so much money.
