◇ N A O M I ◇
"Who will do the talking?" Kyousuke asked as we all settled down.
"How about by part?" Apollo suggested. How long is it that there are different parts? Gosh.
"I should start then," Elijah announced, and we all agreed. Unconsciously, I leaned on Ares, while sipping from my second bottle of milk tea.
"My uncle was a corrupt governor, and an insane sadist. He tortured me, and other boys he bought. I secretly sent a SOS message to your group, the moment I heard it. What I didn't know was my mom also called for the Deus assassins."
"Kyousuke, Apollo, and Ares were members of the said group. They went the same time you guys arrived. The one who found me and assassinated my uncle was Alexa," Elijah finished his part, then Chase followed.
"I was sold by my family to Elijah's uncle, in order to save our whole company. I heard explosions, gunshots, and screams from where I was. I thought I was going to die, but Julia found me. She is my saviour." His voice was full of remorse, but softened at the part where Julia saved him. Then I was reminded about Chase's fiance as I saw their hands intertwined. What's going on?
"You probably don't remember, but when we met, we fought together at the rooftop. You slipped, and almost fell. I reached down to you, but you pulled me downwards. Luckily, Thea and Apollo saved us," Ares said, making me straighten up.
"What?!" Shock was evident in my face, then Ares smiled, and bursted out laughing as he nodded slowly. Seriously?! But damn, he looked extra hot with that smile, and cute with that laugh.
"Me and Thea didn't fought, because we recognized each other by the mask. You two are simply ignorant of other organizations," Apollo stated, insulting us.
"I'm not!" We said at the same time. Turning to each other at the same time, we bursted out laughing. When our laughter died down, Kyousuke continued.
"I was striding down a corridor full of corpses, when I heard a loud snore coming from the master's bedroom. I was hoping to see an old man, but what greeted me was a small girl, sleeping peacefully. Take note, the room was full of corpses with claw marks. When I woke her up, she only looked at me, as if I'm the most normal thing in the world, then went back to sleep."
I saw Nike slowly turning red, "Nike is embarrassed!" Then we all laughed, and teased her, to the point she even hid behind the couch.
After our laughter died down, I called her. "Hey, Nike, come out already!" She slowly crawled out of the couch, then hid behind me. How cute.
"Go sit beside Kyousuke, and stop acting like a child!" Alexa scolded her, and she followed. Mother and daughter, how cute.
"We all gathered at the rooftop, but Kyousuke and Nike were both late. You were panicking, and threatened to kill us and our families, if she didn't arrive. After five minutes of waiting, Kyousuke arrived with Nike sleeping on his back. The funny part was when she woke up," Ares continued, but stopped then bursted out laughing. All of them followed, except for me.
"I CAN'T RELATE," I exclaimed, making them all stop laughing, and gave me an apologetic look. This amnesia is so uncomfortable.
"Sorry," they said in unison, making me sigh.
"Just continue, okay?" They nodded, then Kyousuke continued.
"When Nike woke up, that's when she realized that she doesn't know me. She even tried to kill me. We fought for a while, until she got tired then fell asleep again. Before you guys left, Naomi left the address of your base, and invited us. That's the start." I seriously didn't know this. Wish I can remember...
"Oh, so what are all of you to me?" I asked. Being clueless about their identity was enough, but not knowing their importance in my life is worse.
"Well, you treat me and Apollo as your older brother. Then, Chase and Elijah as some random person you know. Ares...." Kyousuke trailed off when it was about Ares, what's going on?
"Hey! Why am I a random person? That was just Elijah, not me!" Chase complained, more like trying to avoid the subject.
"It should be you! Not me!" Elijah replied.
"You're the jerk here! I'm an angel, you know."
"A demon dressed as an angel? You're worse than me!"
"I'm not!"
"You are!"
"If I'm worse, then you got the top place in the jerks hierarchy!"
"SHUT UP!" Then, everything went silent.
"Stop your nonsense bickering, and just tell me that you can't say the truth! Stop avoiding the topic, for God's sake!" Out of frustration, I stood up and shouted so loud that it echoed throughout the place.
"Sorry," they apologized in unison, making me feel more irritated.
"Stop apologizing! It's making me pity myself! How I wish I could remember all those memories, all the hardships I went through. I can't express how much I want to remember, but I'm asking for you assistance. If you still can't, then just leave me alone. I don't want to burden all of you."
I was about to leave, when I felt a warm hand on my arm. Tried to pull away, but to no avail. I wonder, who dared stop me?
I felt warm tears running down my cheeks, I was about to wipe it, when the person who stopped me, pulled me into a hug.
"Calm down," Ares. His voice was cold, yet soothing. Am I falling? Hope not.
"I won't apologize anymore, so will you hear my rants?" He asked, then I nodded in response. The others gave us space, and went to the guest rooms.
We were left standing, Ares hugging me from the back. I can feel his warmth, and breath on my neck. His smell was like roses, it was intoxicating.
"Do you really want to know about our relationship?" His voice was sounds music to my ears. I only nodded in response.
"We... we were lovers," He said, hesitantly at first. His words made my mind stop processing.
"I still love you, Naomi. I missed you," he continued when I didn't answer.
"I missed you, my queen," he said, cold yet sweet. How can he do that? It's ruining my system.
"Should I call you babe then? Should I treat you as my lover? I don't know what to do anymore..." I'm lost. What should I do? He is my lover...but I can't remember.
"You don't have to do anything. Just let me court you. I love you, and I will make you fall for me, no matter how long it takes."
I can only nod in reply, as his words left me speechless. What did I ever do to deserve a guy like him?
"I'll go to sleep now," I was about to pull away, when he hold me tighter.
"I should've holded you this tight. I shouldn't have let you go, if I knew it was this hard. I'm so tired of living without you, Naomi," he whispered to my ears, before letting go, then leaving me dumbfounded.
What should I do? Can someone tell me, please?
Hi! And there it is. Hahahaha. Any comment about it? Did you like it? What do you think Naomi should do? Will she be able to sort out her feelings and their relationship, or will she be stuck in confusion? Let me know in the comments!
