"I have a lot of work to do, in the future I will have more weapons, in such a situation I don't think I will be able to use you properly."
"I understood."
Riku hugged her and placed his lips on top of hers, exactly as he did to Couronne.
"Done?" Riku said
"That's enough for now."
"Huh, okay. I will tell Terra that you have agreed."
"When did I agree? I said that I will think, and after thinking I have decided that..."
"What?"
"There's no way I will let go of such a handsome man."
"Meaning you lied to me that if I kiss you, will you agree to give your power to someone else?"
"No."
"Alright, I will use you, are you happy now?" Riku asked
Thinking that trying to convince her is just a waste of time, Riku gave up.
"What is there to be happy about in this? You should be happy that I have agreed to give you my power."
"Yes yes. By the way, don't you think that at this time you are cheating on a twenty-fifth year old?" "Why do you think so? I was just his sword for a while and that too because he was cute."
"I think you liked his eyes." Riku said
"How do you know about it?"
"Intuitions."
"I can guess how you found out about it. Well, he was just my user just like the other ones. However, I have to admit that I have never seen a guy like him before."
"Alright-"
"When it comes to eyes, your eyes are completely different from his. His eyes show light. On the other hand, your eyes are abyss itself. Your black eyes, even when you return my gaze, they reflect…nothing. No fear, no doubt, no distress. No sadness or pain resided in them. You are very different from everyone else, that's why, I want to know about you-"
"Enough. Just get me out of here."
"Okay."
The black march understood that she's getting on his nerves, so she just obeyed his next order.
"General... You're back?" Terra asked
Riku looked near him, this was the same old monument.
"Looks like it." Riku said
Riku's main purpose of coming here was to ignite the black march and give Terra the black march. If he did this near the village, he was afraid that if there was any problem during the ignition, he would be seen by the rest of the races. But coming here on a horse from such a distance was a waste.
Riku has brought only one horse from here. He cannot send Terra back with this horse because the rest of the people will start getting suspicious. Thinking that there's no other way, he decides to go home with Terra.
"Rikuuu."
"Oh yes, what were you saying?"
"What were you thinking?"
"Nothing. She has agreed to give me her power, but Terra, you can't tell this to anyone."
"Why so?"
"Because it's an order."
"Alright general. Then, why did we come here?"
Riku immediately understood what she wanted to say.
"We had come here to collect information from an old base of elves, but we did not get any information here and a death storm also started in the middle so we had to stay here."
"I understood."
"You're sharp. Hey Terra, I am going to sleep, let me know when the death storm starts." Riku told her.
Sleeping in the village could be the best choice, but Riku was afraid that if he went to the village and Couronne asked him to do it or did something forcefully with Riku then the mission will fail. Besides, Riku was hesitant to face Couronne.
"Of course. You sleep well, I'll cover you up in the meantime." Terra said
"Go to sleep quietly, I don't think we'll be able to escape if an enemy comes here." Riku said.
When Terra was talking to Black March, Riku had asked Igris to protect them both, so Riku didn't want Terra to wake up and waste her energy in vain.
Riku took out a blanket from his bag and went to sleep in a corner.
On the threshold of his closing eyelids, Riku saw Terra coming towards him. Fatigue and drowsiness seized his consciousness without asking and drowned it in darkness…
13 HOURS LATER
"Riku...Riku..."
Prompted by the noise, his consciousness slowly resurfaced.—What? Deciding he should probably figure out what was going on, Riku drummed up his energy to raise his heavy eyelids—
—and made eye contact with Terra lying beside him, nestled under the blanket and holding him tightly, staring.
How long had he been asleep—? Wait, that didn't really matter.
'—Don't tell me!'
Riku quickly came out from the blanket and started checking whether he was wearing clothes or not. After him he started looking towards Terra.
'Thank god.'
"What are you doing under my blanket?" Riku asked.
"General, it was quite cold here and you were shivering while sleeping, so I thought I should provide you some heat and I was also feeling warm. Rather than sleeping under separate blankets it's better to stick both of them together and sleep under them." She said proudly
"Huh?"
"I was thinking of letting you sleep, but when you did not wake up even after a long time, I started worrying about you."
Whipping up his heavy body that complained it needed more sleep, Riku stood up.
"Good job waking me up. Now, go and check whether the death storm is gone or not, I'm packing the stuffs."
"Achete" she said and started going upstairs.
Meanwhile, Igris came there secretly and Riku kept Igris inside the card.
Riku and Terra both came back home.
