Chapter 77 - Ideals of Hero faction, Finn vs Cao I

Cao held the golden spear which is said to be the St. Longinus. Cao slashed the golden spear towards the fire attack.

The next moment the flame was turned into thousands of shreds. The appearance looked like there was hundreds of thousands of very small fire, which began to disappear in seconds.

Finn looked surprise. 'Just how much force and control one has to put in the slash to turn my flame attack into thousands of shreds.'

"He is strong." Finn smiled. 'Looks like I was underestimating the power scales of this world. The hero faction leader, Cao is very strong. That means other faction leader's power also should be around his level.'

"The True Longinus, also known as the Holy Spear of the Setting Sun, the Spear of Destiny and the Spear/Lance of Longinus, is the first and most powerful Longinus and the same spear which St. Longinus used to stab Jesus Christ. It is wielded by Cao Cao, the leader of the Hero Faction." Echidna looked very worried.

"Can you handle him?" Echidna knows that Finn power has increased after getting the Inheritor Summoner Relic. And also judging from the strong bloody aura, Finn's shadows power must be above S rank, maybe close to Cao.

Finn instead of replying asked. "I have 60 percent of chance of winning against him."

Hearing Finn's reply, Echidna frowned and asked. "Why only 60?"

Finn looked Cao who was also looking at Finn and waiting for Finn to attack him.

"Look I have absolutely no idea about his abilities. It's like I am fighting an opponent being blinded. In this situation, I have to figure out his powers and his weaknesses to defeat him."

"Then how did you defeat your first Shadow? Itsuki"

"I fought with Itsuki two times. The first time I lost against him but I had a understood about his power and abilities so when I fought him the second time, I repeatedly took advantage of his weakness." Finn first marked Itsuki then repeatedly used Teleportation to attack injure Itsuki.

"I know little about Cao's abilities. Cao has immense speed, immense durability, immense combat skills, Master spearman, Master technician, Gifted senses which allows him to see through many things that are usually hard or impossible to avoid. Cao is also master in teleportation magic. You can even say that he is the fastest teleportation user in the continent."

'Wow, looks like my chances of defeating is 50. Ever since coming to his world, I never faced a life and death battle. My power was always more than enough to annihilate my enemies. Because of this, I never really reached or knew my true potential. Even against the fight with Itsuki formerly known as Yuki, I did not have the chance to use my full power.'

'Although the last attack that killed Yuki was super strong but that was only my strongest attack, not my strongest form.'

Finn felt a kind of excitement. His dragon blood had slowly changed Finn's nature and Finn became a battle manic.

"Echidna, Nagahide, Itsuki and my 2nd shadow, focus on dealing with other members of Hero faction, I will fight against Cao myself."

Holding the Zanpakuto, Itsuki disappeared from his place or that's what it looked like to others.

Boom!

Finn's speed was so fast that the ground where he was standing cracked like spider wave. In reality, Itsuki's speed was so fast that no one was able to see him moving. Echidna only saw a black blur, moving at very fast speed. Nagahide and Echidna felt a strong wind as Finn dashed towards Cao.

Finn instantly appeared in front of Cao. To others it looked like Finn just had teleported in front of Cao. Only Cao saw Finn's movement.

Finn vertically swung the Zanpakuto towards Cao's.

Ding!

Cao blocked Finn's strike with his spear.

"You are just human like us. Instead of fighting, join us. The main aim of hero faction is to lead the human race at the top. Our Hero faction is made to protect humans from other races. Our faction protects humans from every races starting from devils to dragons, every race." Finn admits he was tempted to join after hearing such ideal words from Cao.

Unfortunately, Finn has no interest in joining any faction. Finn prefers to live his life freely.

Finn swung the Zanpakuto towards Cao while vertically titling towards the right.

Ding!

Cao again blocked the attack with a cold look.

"Thank you offer but I have no interest in joining any factions. I admit, I admire the ideals that you and factions want to accomplish, but I have things that I want to protect so joining a faction isn't a option made for me." Finn future plan was to grow his shadow army and prepare for the invasion in his home world.

Cao's face turned cold. Cao coldly smiled and said.

"Then what a waste. I thought that my hero faction or the humanity would gain another Satan class powerhouse, but it looks like I was wrong. Since you don't want to join then I can kill you and claim the 1 billion gold coins that other factions have offer. Those 1 Billion gold coins will be is more valuable than your pathetic life."

Finn did not show any reaction on his face. Finn channeled lightning into his Zanpakuto to increase the Zanpakuto attack power.

Finn again horizontally swung the Zanpakuto which Cao again defended with his spear.

Ding!

Others couldn't see where Cao and Finn were. They could from time to time hear some clanging sounds here and there.

"Kill those Bitches." Other members of hero faction cursed loudly and charged towards Echidna and Nagahide.

"I want to take this human girl. Maybe she can give birth to warriors with strong magic powers." Hearing this Nagahide did not lose her calm. Her master had taught her to be calm headed in a battle, no matter what.

Three of the S rank members channeled Mana to their arrows and the arrows glowed in golden color.

Bang!

Three powerful A rank arrows headed towards Echidna and Nagahide. Nagahide felt something approaching them, she held in spear in the center and started to rotate the spear, deflecting all the 3 arrows to another place.

Boom!

The three arrows landed 15 meters away from Nagahide and Echidna and exploded.

"Keep shooting those arrows." One of the men yelled. The men then began to chant some high ranking spell.

"O heavenly thunder, hear my voice, lend me your divine strength, Lend me the power to kill my enemies.."

"This is bad, really bad. He is borrowing the power of heavenly thunder which can seriously injure. Nagahide we must stop before he finishes chanting." Said Echidna while slashing the throat of one middle age S ranker men.

"keke! I will not allow anyone to kill my mater's allies." Itsuki who was receiving continuous attacks from more than 20 S rank members of Hero faction shouted after hearing Echidna words.

Itsuki's body was constantly getting hit with A Rank or above tier magic spells and his destroyed body parts was recovering at visible naked eye speed which really frightened many Hero faction members. That's kept attacking Itsuki.
