Chapter 177 - Afterlife

Holding the dead body of Finn, Tsunade and every girl cried. Their tears were endless as their hearts had broken into pieces.

Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Sakumo and Minato also shed tears.

Everyone was sad but only Onoki noticed something strange.

"Hey if Finn is dead then why isn't his shadow warriors are disappearing?" Tsunade, Rin, Tio, Echidna, Nagahide, Kurenai, Kushina, Fu, Grayfia, Konan, Pakura all stopped crying as their bodies trembled.

Onoki's words have given the girls the last remaining hope. All the girls looked at the shadows of Finn standing motionless and looking towards Finn.

"I think.... Finn..... Is still alive." Grayfia said. Finn once told her that he is the Monarch. Tsunade and other girls eyes shined in hope. They all prayed from the bottom of their hearts for Finn to wake up.

"Tsunade, I think first you should close the hole in his chest and stop the blood flowing out of his body. If Finn is alive then I am sure he will wake up." Tsunade nodded and began to heal. Rin also came forward to help Tsunade with her work.

Scene change.....

Black Zetsu was devastated seeing that reanimated Madara with Rinnegan had lost to Finn. All of Black Zetsu plans now had failed. Black Zetsu didn't know what he should do. He was feeling extremely angry. If he had a physical body then he himself would have gone to kill that Bastard Finn.

"Guess, I will just keep the Rinnegan with me and plan things all over again. As for Orochimaru, I don't care about him. Since he has no use for me anymore. He might even try to capture me." Black Zetsu lead all the white Zetsu and disappeared into their hiding leaving Orochimaru behind.

Scene change....

Everyone had gained some hope knowing that Finn was still alive. But they didn't know a new threat just had arrived to greet the shinobi world.

"Something is coming." Everyone turned their heads up and saw three white lights coming towards them at extremely fast pace.

The white lights stopped 50 meters above the ground and looked at the humans in surprise.

"To think we will find a world where normal humans are using Chakra. It's really interesting." Said the figure with white hair.

"Humans allow this God to introduce himself. I am Momoshiki and this is my foster father Kinshiki." Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki was a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan's main family, sent to investigate the whereabouts of Kaguya and her God Tree.

Momoshiki had pale skin, and pale-blue hair which he kept in a long ponytail. His hair was parted down the middle in a zig-zag pattern, and his head was adorned with a pair of flat, curved horns which resembled bulls horns. He had delicate facial features and his eyebrows were cut very short as a symbol of nobility. He dressed in traditional nobleman's attire consisting of a white kariginu hunting robe, baggy pants, a pair of tengu-geta, and a single black glove on his left hand, with a hole cut into the palm for his Rinnegan, which was red in colour. He also wore a transparent hagoromo veil over his head.

Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki is also a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan's main family, who served as a guardian for his foster son Momoshiki.

Kinshiki had pale skin with short spiky blue-greyish hair, a full beard, and a long horn above his left eye. He had big hands and a burly physique accompanied with a towering height that reached over two metres.

He wore a pale blue shirt with back cuffs and a high collar over which he wore another darker appendage with a grey sash wrapped around his waist. He also wore grey pants and black, flat shoes on his feet which were upturned at the toes.

"Who are you? Why did you come here?" Hiruzen asked. Just looking at those two, Hiruzen had a very bad feeling about it. Hiruzen felt danger from them.

Momoshiki smiled and pointed at Kushina. "We have come to harvest Chakra from her and get the Chakra fruit." Hiruzen didn't understand what the Chakra fruit was but he knew that Kushina was in trouble.

Something then caught Momoshiki's eyes. Momoshiki saw all the shadows standing still and looking around.

"Oh.... It looks like the New Shadow Monarch is here. And Here I thought Ashborn's new Successor was from another world." The proud face of Momoshiki now turned pale. One of tbe greatest nightmare of Otsutsuki clan was the shadow Monarch. Momoshiki looked around and saw a dead human was being treated by two woman.

"Kinshiki we have to destroy that human before Ashborn takes things over. We cannot let Ashborn be reborn." Momoshiki loudly shouted as he charged at Finn. Kinshiki also followed to attack Finn.

Tsunade and the others girls after hearing Momoshiki's words were sure that Finn is alive and would get up soon.

"Everyone stop them. Do whatever necessary to buy enough time for Finn to get up." Hiruzen knew that only Finn had the power to defeat these two monsters that have come out of nowhere.

Scene change....

In a dark space,

Finn found himself standing on the ground. The whole space was dark but Finn was able to see in the dark.

"Is this afterlife?" Finn's eyes shined in red light as he looked around.

Tap! Tap!

Finn heard footsteps. Finn turned around and widened his eyes seeing the figure walking towards him.

Ashborn was a huge, muscular shadow with glowing flame-like purple hair, glowing purple eyes, two curved black horns, and sharp claws. He also wore jet-black armor and a long smoky black cloak, and wielded a pure black sword.

He is the first Shadow Monarch.

"Ashborn what are you doing here?" Finn asked. Instead of replying Ashborn replied in a strange manner.

"I am the record of your struggles, the evidence of your resistance, and the reward of your sufferings. I am death, I am eternal rest, and I am also terror. In short, I am Ruler of Death, Shadow Monarch."

Two chairs.... No rather two thrones appeared. Ashborn sat on the throne and waited for Finn to sit on the other throne.

Finn sat on the throne opposite of Ashborn.

"I never thought I would see you after my death." Finn chuckled and then felt depressed and sad. Finn was already missing his girlfriends. His loved ones must have been suffering because of him.

"Finn your name itself means Blood warrior. Your are one of the greatest humans to ever live." Finn could only smile hearing Ashborn's words.

"Finn, I am tried of wars. I have fought and killed more enemies than I can count. As time passed the loneliness hit me and I just stopped fighting. I continued to rest in this place hoping that one day a successor would come and take my place."

"Sorry but I am dead now." Finn felt depressed. He had left so many unfinished things.

"Finn for a Monarch death is only a form of rest. The shadow Monarch is immortal as we have the power of death. Currently you and I are half Monarchs."

"I don't understand your words."

"Finn, for you to become a complete Shadow Monarch there was one final thing that was needed." Ashborn pointed at the hole in Finn's chest. "Yes, I am taking about your death."

"As the ruler of death we have to power to make others immortal. Finn my army as been sleeping for thousands of years. With you being my successor they can finally pick up their sowrds and shed blood for their Monarch again." Finn didn't understand what Ashborn was trying to say.

"Finn I can give you a choice. You can either live your life here, in this worlds of dreams. Any anything you desire will be given to you. Or you can go back and live a happy life. That means you will have to face the reality. That means you will have the responsibility of stopping the Monarchs and the Otsutsuki clan members."

Finn was going to going to live. Finn didn't hesitate even more a moment to reply." I want to finish my journey and rest with my girlfriends. I wish to experience my life." Ashborn smiled and then stood up and walked towards him.

"Finn remember to cherish your loved ones. Because a immortal life without anyone to accompany you is worse than hell. From this moment onwards I can finally rest and leave everything in your care." Ashborn touched Finn's chest and a dark purple light entered Finn's body.
