A/N: For the next few chaps, everything will be Tom/Yukan's dark past, a different personality. Plus, I was just over-reacting previously ig. I apologize.

-Tom's life till now-

Tom originally lived in country X. His family was one of the richest families in the country.

Tom was supposed to grow up and help his elder brother, Daniel run all their family's businesses. Their lives were good until a war with country Y broke out.

Their family's main business, which was the manufacturing of weapons. Although their business started doing better in the start, the situation started getting dangerous as country Y started overpowering them with international support.

In the end, Tom and his family had to escape the country through illegal means. When people are fleeing the country during times of war, money does not matter.

Tom and his whole family. His elder brother, his younger sister, his father and his mother.

On the boat, not everyone gets a seat. People sacrifice their seats to make sure that their loved ones can flee.

And so, Tom's father and mother did the same thing. They handed their 7-year daughter, Mira, to Tom who was 9 years old back then.

"Take care of yourself and your siblings. Mom and Dad always love you." Tom's mother said as she got off the boat and left quickly so that the boat could leave.

After that day, none of the siblings ever heard about their parents and assumed that they were dead.

Back to the present, 6 years later. Daniel, the oldest brother was now 17 years old and there was only one year left before he became an official adult.

At the start, Daniel, nicknamed Danny at his house was a very kind and caring child but, growing up in another country without any adult support, Daniel had to get involved in some illegal work.

He had recently joined a gang too. Even though joining a gang was not the right thing, Daniel always tried to take care of Tom and make him ready for this world.

But Tom, who was still young and protected by Daniel did not understand what Daniel always meant. Tom thought that Daniel changed after they fled the country. Daniel did change but, it was only to protect his younger siblings.

Meanwhile, in the few days after Tom had left the hospital, his leg healed. The reason was unknown to him but, his leg healed very fast.

Currently, Tom was walking back to his house from a grocery shop.

He kept his head down while walking. There were two reasons for it.

First, the people of the country they lived in had some past hatred with the people of country X. Second, the area that they lived in had a very high crime rate and it is not like they could leave either. Having no money really was a big problem.

As Tom was walking, he was hit on his head by a bike rider," Oyo Tommy boy, good thing we found you. We'll bring her back soon."

The biker was there with some more bikers. All on their bikes as they all passed through Tom.

Tom could not understand what they were talking about at first. He continued walking until the last biker passed beside him.

He saw a man holding his 13-year-old sister on the bike forcefully as he raced off his bike.

When Tom noticed her there, Tom started running behind them but, he could not match the bike's speed. The bike riders were a famous group around and someone who had been troubling Tom's family for a while.

Being famous, their location of gathering was known to almost everyone.

It took him a while but, after non-stop running for an hour, Tom finally reached the location.

"Miraaa?" Tom yelled as he entered the abandoned building to look for Mira.

"You were right, boss. He's an idiot." A fat man said as he grabbed Tom's hands from the back and pushed him onto the ground. The man put his body's weight on Tom by pressing his knee against Tom's back.

"Haha, I knew this would happen so I didn't start. This had to happen someday since she is so beautiful." Ryu, their leader said as he slowly pulled down the skirt Mira was wearing and pulled his pants down.

He then forcefully put the 13-year-old Mira down on her four limbs as he started violating her. He and 7 other men violated the child completely in the most inhumane and violent ways one could ever expect.

Tom had lost the strength to even cry by the time things ended and Mira had a lifeless look on her face since the start. She somehow knew no one was going to help her.

"Please stop now, Ryu," Tom begged as he tried crying but no use. Neither did the tears come out and nor did Ryu stop.

He rather walked closer to Tom and made him watch every vile thing the group of men did to Mira.

After finishing, they dropped Mira as if she were a corpse and pulled Tom with his hair.

"If the police get to know about this, you're dead. Just tell him that... we played some house. I was the daddy and Mira was mommy." Ryu said as he picked up a knife and cut Tom's throat. The cut was on the surface so no major damage was done.

Compared to what happened, right now, getting his throat cut seemed minor to Tom.

Before the men left, Tom did not even dare to move. As soon as they all left, Tom ran to Mira and put her head on his lap as she continued lying down.

"I-I'm sorry Mira. I couldn't protect you. I-I'm weak. I-I-"

"It's alright..." Mira said as she smiled, it took her all of her courage but she smiled. She did not want to break her brother's heart even if he could not help.

"...I expected nothing from you anyways..." Mira herself did not know what she spoke before passing out but, Tom hear it loud and clear.

Tom hugged Mira as he cried once again. He now understood why Daniel became what he is but, it was a heavy price for him to realize this.

-An hour later, back at their house-

Tom sat in the living room with a bandage wrapped around his neck while Mira still lay unconscious in her room, sleeping.

Daniel entered the house and started talking about his day to Tom while drinking some water and eating an apple.

"...And then, haha, shit went down. Damn, that bitch had tried to fight me but, he did not know that I'm so fucking strong. I've mastered all martial arts haha. Anyways, here, eat some appl- What...is this?" Daniel asked. He noticed the bandage wrapped around Tom's neck when he finally gave him the plate full of cut apples.

Tom tried speaking but, he could not muster up the courage to speak that he saw his sister get violated and could not do anything about it.

"I said, WHAT HAPPENED, TOM? Did the- Wait, when I was just getting out of the car, our neighbour told me that a girl...Where's Mira?" Daniel asked as he dropped the plate and shook Tom's shoulders.

"I ASKED YOU, WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SISTER MIRA? TELL ME." Daniel yelled at the top of his lungs as he slapped Tom's face hard. He panicked completely.

"S-She's in her room..." Tom said as he held the cheek Daniel slapped on.

Daniel ran to Mira's room as fast as he could and came back to the living room soon.

"I know everything that happened there... Tell me just one thing, did you really only cry and beg and request the man who was violating your sister, to stop?" Daniel asked as he looked at Tom with a disappointed look.

Tom gave no reply and just sat there, staring into nothingness.

"I am for real very disappointed Tom... But even so, since I raised you, I guess this is my fault. I'll show you how to protect- now, how to take your sister's revenge. I will only show it once.

Protect her from the next time otherwise, I will kill you next time AND, I AM NOT FUCKING KIDDING." Daniel said as he picked Tom up from his neck and dropped him on the wooden table, breaking it. He then punched Tom's face a few times before getting up.

Daniel once again went somewhere but he came within minutes this time.

This time, there was a baseball bat in his hand which had pointed steel trap-wire all over it.

Daniel wore a leather jacket and some pants as he walked over to Tom and said, "If I need to do this again ever, in my remaining life. You will be the first victim."

Daniel pointed his finger at Tom and looked at him with real anger in his eyes and Tom saw eyes that wanted to kill him for the first time in his life.

"Go get the Mira. We are leaving right now. My sister..." Daniel said as he turned around and walked out of the house. He did not want anyone to see the tears in his eyes.

"You're dead..." Daniel said as he looked at the bat on the passenger seat and started the car to leave with Tom and Mira.
