first mission with team 10

"see you!" Kurenai planted a kiss on Asuma's lips and she jumped on the buildings, Asuma looked at her back in a daze and he touched his lips, he did not know what to think, on one hand Kurenai is beautiful but she is not really his, she is Asuma's.

"maybe it's better to.... no!, i can't just throw this opportunity away!" Asuma shook his head in denial, Kurenai might not be his for real, but she is gonna be his, he will make sure of it, and he will not be scared to show confidence from now on.

Asuma looked at the clock on the wall and he saw that it was almost 7 in the morning, he closed the door to the apartment and with a small step he vanished from place, in a few seconds he made his way to the hokage office, specifically the entrance of the hokage building.

Asuma landed behind team 10 who was startled, they quickly turned around and looked at the source of the sound vigilantly, but they quickly calmed down when they saw that it was only Asuma, they relaxed and then walked towards Asuma.

"hey Asuma sensei, what mission are we gonna get?" Ino was tyhe first one to talk as she asked about the mission in excitement, and Asuma smiled in return, he did not say anything but just walked in the hokage building.

[ a few hours later ]

"i hate this!"

a loud shout was heard on a small farm, Ino could be seen plucking out carrots and potatoes from the ground along with the other 2, meanwhile Asuma was nowhere to be seen, Shikamaru looked at Ino with his usual lazy face.

"why are you complaining?, it's me and choji who is doing almost all the work... " Shikamaru looked at Ino in bewilderment, all Ino has done this past hours is just complain about getting her hands dirty and about how Asuma sensei is an idiot.

"what did you say!"

"nothing..."

a trail of smoke was seen as Asuma vanished from place, not even an after image could be seen as Asuma appeared again a 100 meters from the place.

this speed was extremely fast, reaching the mid elite jonin level almost, but Asuma just sighed as he looked at this, he knows that this speed is not even lightning fast, maybe many times sound, but he still has many more time to reach the speed of even the raikage, not to mention naruto and sasuke in the future.

Asuma and his team entered the hokage office and they could see the Hokage doing paper work, Asuma looked at Hiruzen with a thoughtful look in his eyes, maybe he should use him before he dies.

"old man, we finished the mission"

Hiruzen nodded and he soon took out a small bag containing the mission reward, it was 5 thousand yen, Asuma took 2 thousand while the 3 got 1 thousand each.

"huh?, Asuma sensei why do you get 2 thousand yen while we get a thousand only?" Ino looked at the money in her hand in confusion, she thought they would all get the same money.

"well that is because i am the team leader, and i shoulder all responsibilities of you 3, if something goes wrong on a mission or something happens to you 3, then i am the one that will take responsibility" Asuma tried to answer Ino's question as best as he can, Ino and the rest of team 10 nodded in understanding, they are not as dumb as team 7.

"now let's go and get some bbq!" Asume walked to team 10 and he took them by the shoulder, team 10 nodded in excitement as there stomach rumbled just in time.

[ 3 days later ]

in this 3 days team 10 took 2 mission every day, and Asuma slowly took higher and higher difficulty mission, and the pay also got better, in just 3 days team 10 has completed 7 missions counting the one before.

currently it is the afternoon and team 10 is coming back from a mission right now, along team 10 is team Kurenai.

"hey Kurenai, hows your team doing?" Asuma and Kurenai sat on a separate table now while the students sat on a different table from them.

"it's good, but i am worried about kiba and Hinata, Kiba is strong but impulsive while Hinata is evens stronger but too shy to show her strength, i don't know what to do with them.." Kurenai sighed as she looked at her team, sometimes she wondered why the hokage did not just give her an other team.

"hahaha, don't worry my team is also troublesome, but they are reliable when need be, your team is the same i can tell from a glance" Asuma smiled as he looked at Kurenai who just nodded, Kurenai smiled as she looked at Asuma.

"so should we go home as it's getting late?" Kurenai asked with a smile as she looked at Asuma.

"yes" Asuma nodded and he stood up, he then payed for the food and he sent his students home while Kurenai did the same, there students are targets of assasination from other villages, so they have to send them home themselves.

after sending the students home, Asuma went home together with Kurenai, he took a shower and then went to bed with Kurenai, but not nefore he took a look at his stats page.

although Asuma is strong, how many stronger elite jonins is there in other villages, even now he was only able to become the team leader of team 10 because of his father, and wanting to build a relationship between the 3 clans and the Sarutobi clan.

well it doesn't matter as he is getting stronger.

and like this time passes as team 10 continues taking low level mission everyday, until they had enough of this.
