37 - Visting Orphanage

Next day, after last period was over, Daikoku sensei come to me.

Daikoku: "Ikki"

"yes Sensei, Do you need me for anything?"

Daikoku: "Actually, Hokage sama has asked me to give you this scroll. Its D rank but its chakra requirements are same as E rank. So you will be able to practice it."

I looked at scroll, Its D rank Genjutsu scroll, Genjutsu: Te no naga-sa no zōka (Increase in hand length), Which Jiraiya sama promised me.

Nice, with this, my kenjutsu practice and its unpredictability will increase and I also have Intetsu whose size I can increase or decrease up to 20%. This will make enemies disoriented when they will face my sword and when i will use it with trackless steps, hehehe.

"Thanks for this Daikoku sensei. It will help me."

After leaving academy, i headed to orphanage. It will be nice with meeting JIJI and all kids. With my constant practice and academy, i wasn't able to visit orphanage.

As i entered orphanage, i can see kids playing in ground. And caretakers keeping eyes on them. I said hello to caretakers, and asked him if Jiji is back from capital. They nodded on that so i headed for his office.

After reaching his office, i knocked and after getting permission i entered his office.

Tatasumo: "Aah, Ikki, How are you?"

"I am fine Old man. How are you? How was capital?"

Tatasumo: "I am fine also. Capital was boring. Are you training in kenjutsu normally right?"

"Yes i train basics daily."

Tatsumo: "Good. How is your school life? made any friends?"

"Its going well. I made friend. Quite close at that."

Tatsumo: "Good good, enjoy your life until you are small. After becoming adult you will miss this life."

I know about it. I got this chance and i am gonna enjoy this. But still this is real world and what's coming is dangerous to me and all and I am gonna fight it. Hard work never lies.

Tatsumo: "You just didn't come here to visit orphanage right?"

"No, I want to ask you about, how to improve lethality of my sword strike."

Tatsumo: "Elaborate."

"If i want to cut steel with sword, how can i do that?"

Tatsumo: "Why do you ask this?"

I did same conversation with him which I had with Chinatsu san.

Tatsumo: "So you want make sure your sword strike can cut anything apart."

I nodded. 

Tatsumo: "There is a way to achieve it. Chakra flow. Which it flow your chakra in weapon. This make sword or any weapon strike deadly."

"okay. Teach me then."

Tatsumo: "You are not ready for that yet. You need to get good chakra control, and nature transformation."

"I have good chakra control. I am able to stick leaf on my all tanketsu until my chakra run out."

Tatsumo: "Its not enough. You should at least achieve tree climbing exercise and water walking exercise. Ask your academy instructor about it. He will show you how to do it. About nature manipulation, you are too early. After achieving water walking technique, try to flow your chakra into Bokuto. If you were able to achieve that than your jonin sensei will teach you about nature manipulation."

"Got it."

Tatsumo: "Don't be hasty. Bad scenario you are describing is still far ahead. So you have time. Be patient and achieve perfection in every step you take. After wards everything will become easy."

"Okay. There is other thing. How can i increase my speed?"

Tatsumo: "You can use Shunshin no jutsu. Let me see, I must have scroll here somewhere."

He found scroll from many scroll. I almost drooled. But i know, as per my chakra level even shunshin is gonna be hard.

Tatsumo: "Yes found it." He gave me scroll.

Tatsumo: "Shunshin is fast movement technique. You can read all details in scroll. I also added my views in it. Try to learn it first than modify it as per your use. There is also way to add Nature manipulation in it. But its still in future if you want to integrate in it. Work hard."

"Thanks old man."

Tatsumo: "No issue. Did you started practicing genjutsu?"

"No but i got scroll of Genjutsu: Te no naga-sa no zōka (Increase in hand length)."

Tatsumo: "Good, its nice Genjutsu technique for katana and tanto users. It will have many application. Practice it well. With Shunshin and Te no naga-sa no zōka your Leaf-Style Sword Art will improve tremendously."

I again thanked him and leave his office.

Tatsumo: [He is taking more things than he can chew. And also becoming somewhat arrogant. Need to find a way to make him realize it.]
