The First Day Of Work

I drove my car towards the Gangnam area, where Bighit's office is located. I feel very lucky, because the trip from UN Village to Gangnam district only takes less than 10 minutes, well .. 15 minutes when during rush hours.

As you know, the bighit office is located in a busy Gangnam office area, therefore the traffic here in the mornings and afternoons is quite crowded.

I turned my car to the left into Hakdong-ro and entered the basement of the Yangjin Plaza building to park my car. I looked at my watch, it was 8.40am. I arrived 20 minutes earlier than the appointed time.

I checked the make-up on my face before finally getting out of the car and heading for the lobby. I took a slow breath when I arrived at the information desk. I didn't have an employee card at the moment, so I had to report to the information desk to get a visitor card.

Then I decided to go up to the 5th floor and wait for Kang Gyejang-nim (team leader Kang) in the waiting room above. Currently Bighit rents an office in Yangjin Plaza, Gangnam. In this building, there are many other companies of course. Bighit itself rents floors 5 to 7 as their offices. According to the news, there are also several studios and practice rooms for their artists.

Then there is a one meter high bookshelf that fills the entire left wall of the room. The bookshelves are filled with folders and various magazines. On the shelves are mirrors, files containing fabric samples, make-up tools and so on.

To the right of the long table are several rows of desks facing each other. Then at the far right end there are several electric sewing machines and rows of clothes and 7 mannequins.

"This is the styling department's workspace. I am in charge of 14 stylists at this time, including you. Which consists of 4 make-up artists, 5 hair-stylists and 5 fashion-stylists. You are one of the fashion-stylists. Even though your status is an apprentice worker, I hope you can work optimally. I will introduce you to your team later, but now we have to take care of the most important thing, your contract", she explained kindly

We walked past the long table in the middle of the room and headed to a work table that was at the end beside a white door with the words 'Wardrobe' written on it.

"This is your contract letter, you will have an internship for 6 months starting today. The salary you will receive is around 1.5 million won per month, not including overtime pay and bonus. Then Raim, Juyoung and Youra went to the wardrobe room following Kang Yeri. Meanwhile, I followed Haewon to a desk near the mannequins.

"This is your desk. I hope we can work together well", said Haewon smiling kindly

"Ye, please help me, sunbaenim (a designation to senior)", I replied smiling back at her

Why do this company need so many people to take care of a group that hasn't debuted yet?, I thought.

I feel that someone is watching me. I looked around and found Yoongi standing beside the stand hanger while looking at me with a sharp gaze. I turned my face the other way to help Jimin choose accessories for himself.

"Han Sofia ssi, can you come with me for a moment?", Kang Yeri asked me

"Ye, Gyejang-nim", I replied and walked after her out of the room

"Sofia ssi, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you that the group you will take care is BTS, not a new group," she said with an apologetic face after we were outside

"I'm also confused about this situation, Gyejang-nim. I remember applying to be the stylist for the new group that will debut next year, but why is it changing now", I replied while frowning
