Soul Eating Bug

Shiro and Lisa walked out of the storehouse slowly and as quietly as possible only to then run after being far enough from the storehouse.

When they were leaving, Shiro noticed that there were some ships near the shore. The ships were large, and on one of the sails, it was clearly mentioned - Merchant Association - with an emblem on a flag. The emblem or symbol was an opened treasure box having many jewels and coins in it - symbolizing their wealth - that's what one would think.

But for Shiro, it seemed to only showcase their greed and nothing else.

Regardless, both of them entered the forest yet again and made their way to the shrine.

When Shiro arrived near it, the feeling of divine energy got stronger. This time, it was as if the divine energy was calling out to him.

The shrine seemed the same - in ruins.

"So, can we enter…?", Shiro asked.

Lisa reluctantly said, "I don't know."

"The goddess only told me to bring you here and-"
