"Donas Hans…?", Shiro was surprised when he heard Donas Hans' name yet again, that too from the Earth Goddess herself.

"Wait, how is he related?", Shiro asked.

"The soul eater bugs, he is the one responsible for bringing them to this island.", the goddess said.

Upon hearing this, Shiro was even more surprised.

"Wait what!?"

"Yes."

"All the people living on this island, have become his slave because of this reason."

When Shiro heard this, he recalled the system telling something about freeing the residents of this island from that vile man.

Apparently, when Shiro correlated those things with the soul eater bugs, he finally realized how and why the residents were obeying him!

He somehow let the bugs get inside their body, reaching their soul and making them their host.

While Shiro thought this, the goddess said, "Since every living being has a soul, they could be the targets of such insects."
