First day of being nanny

I looked at the cute little blond haired girl with small and face while her ears were sharp n' pointy, 'elf? I didn't knew they existed in this world...' I smiled when looking at her, 'Doesn't matter, I get to nanny such a cute little girl, I can't say anything against that, so...'

Noticing at the bed was a engraved name, "Klee... Cute name" I blushed a little and coughed when I remembered that I'm in an old and torn at the edges cape, so I used silently magic and transformed myself in normal everyday clothes

I had gray shirt with black pants and glasses on my face, nothing too fancy, "This shall do." I created a chair with creation magic and sat down on it near the bed while looking at her, 'She's too cute... I wonder if in future I will have daughter cute like her too.'

My eyes as if ignited with flames and I swore to myself that I will defend this beauty with cost of my life (well it's not as if I have a choice, nor I don't want to die yet either)

I saw that Klee was waking up and I prepared myself, after a while she opened her eyes and looked at me, "Waah~, who are you?" she got scared a bit and got to the other side of the bed, I smiled and replied "Good morning young lady, since today I was assigned to be your nanny and will take care of you."

She looked at me smiling at her and she said, "I don't want to, you're scary." I felt as if giant arrow pierced me and almost coughed blood, "Young lady, don't say such words, I'm not scary..."

I thought for a bit and said, "How about I show you a magic trick? You wanna see it, do you?" When I said that Klee's eyes sparkled while looking at me and she nodded, I smiled, "Look"

I extended my finger while pointing upwards and little sparkles of light went out if it, "How's that, want to see more?" She looked and nodded again while sparkling with awe, in response I stopped using light magic and looked away while pouting, "I will only if you will take your words back about not wanting me being your nanny, those words hurt me."

She looked down and almost sobbed, "S-sorry..." I smiled and patted her head, "It's okay, if you're really sorry then I forgive you."

"Then I will be in your care, Klee..." With light magic I created a small cartoon ears on my head along with whiskers like for a cat, and smiled

Klee laughed at me seeing what I did, "You are funny" Seeing her smile almost killed me with cuteness overload while I almost fell off the chair, "You're too cute Klee-chan"

"Am I?" She leaned her head sideways and I nodded, "Yes, you're so cute that even princesses would envy your cuteness, you're the cutest girl I ever saw in my entire life."

She smiled like an angel which made me almost die again, I looked at the time and asked, "It's almost time to eat little lady, where do you usually eat?"

Klee looked at me and looked a bit sad, "Sister Jean brings me food every day and we eat together, but she is not funny as you, she always has that serious serious face like this one" she tried to imitate Jean's face and I laughed at it

Klee smiled and continued "But sometimes mommy comes and we have a lot of fun together~" I smiled back at her, "Looks like you love your mom a lot" she nodded, "Very~ I love her the most!"

"I am sure she loves you the most too." I patted her head, "There's no way someone can't love princess like you."

I smiled at her, "So... you want to go eat with me some pancakes?" I saw Klee's eyes shining with stars and laughed lightly, "I'll take that as a yes." I picked up smol Klee when she was still in her baby pyjama and held her in one hand while kicking open the door

Klee shouted, "Adventure~!" I repeated after her, "Adventure!"

Meanwhile on other side of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters: Jean sneezed and said, "Does someone thinks of me? Maybe that's Diluc..."

While Klee was in my hand she pointed finger all the time in different sides while I ran where she pointed at, I asked "Klee you sure kitchen is there?" Klee nodded, "Sure!"

I continued running and we opened door, seeing huge library I and Klee looked at each other, I said "Maybe you're just not fully awaken yet?" and wanted to walk outside but got stopped by a voice, "Wait, aren't you Helliot?" I didn't look at who it was so... I suddenly started running away, "Run Klee-chan run!"

Running away I held klee and we entered the next door where was empty kitchen and I closed the and put the Klee down on the chair, "That was close" Klee nodded while imitating to be serious

I wrapped up my sleeves and went closer to the stove, "Klee, watch and learn, you will see how great cook I am." I started cooking, but...

There is one problem...

I can't cook...

After few minutes we were running away with Klee outside of Headquarters while Knights were running and panicking all around. Klee said, "Looks like pancake went boom boom..." I nodded but smiled a bit while laughing, "Hahaha, but isn't boom boom fun?"

"So no pancakes?" I shook my head while running down the stairs away from Headquarters, "I know a place where they sell tasty pancakes, I will show you where." I ran a bit more and stopped at good hunter while putting Klee down on my lap, "Please my usual."

"Understood!" worker of good hunter nodded (I don't know her name and I'm too lazy to search it) and started cooking it, while Klee tilted her head to the side and asked, "Your usual?"

I nodded, "I usually come here every morning and have a so called 'tea break pancakes', they're so good together with tea that I can't get tired of them." Klee laughed a bit, "So you really like pancakes, mister...?"

"Oh, didn't I say, my name is Helliot, but you can call me anything you would like to." Klee thought a bit, "You will be now... Pancake Knight!"

A sweat droplet went down my face, "Pancake...knight?" she nodded with a cute face, "Guardian of all worlds pancakes!" I laughed nervously, 'I would prefer being tea knight...'

Worker of good hunter went closer to us, "Here are your pancakes." and placed them in front of us, "Thanks" I nodded while Klee was already hypnotized and drolling just from the look and smell of it.

I laughed a bit and cut a small piece of it down while putting it near her mouth, "Say aaa~" Klee repeated, "Aaa~" and I put the pancake in her mouth while preparing to feed her like that, 'Truth to be told... I don't trust a three and half year old child a fork...'

...Meanwhile in Knights of Favonius Headquarters

Jean walked outside of office and looked at the all knights running around with water buckets, "What's happening?" One knight stopped and without any salute quickly said, "Rick is reporting, an emergency happened, the kitchen is on fire!"

The knight after he said that, he ran away while leaving Jean stunned, 'Kitchen is on fire? How... it's not in use though, today is sunday and we only will have lunch break later at noon...'
