Staring at the small triangle that appeared to be a mirror, Noah felt excited as well as intrigued.

Excited because not only did it remind him of his own mirror, but because he felt a special familiarity about the triangle, as if it led to a place he already knew.

Intrigued, because he wasn't sure if trusting his instincts was the best thing to do at this point, even if his instincts had brought him this far.

After all, this mirror world and everything inside had been nothing but hostile towards him, except for the apple juice and cookies.

With distrust in his gut, Noah extends his right hand, the one that held the knife, towards the triangle.

"Oh..."

At the contact, this triangular mirror, similar to the way his own mirror had reacted, also yielded to the knife.

Feeling no resistance in the knife even when almost all of it was inside the mirror, not even a slight tug, Noah decided to follow up with something else.

Now with his hammer, he felt no resistance going in either, just the same faint tug on the mirror that seemed to want the hammer.

Since it seemed that inserting inanimate objects had the same response, Noah gave it a trial by fire.

With his index finger, he slowly brought it closer toward the triangle, until finally, they made contact.

Expecting the worst, Noah had even improved his grip on the surroundings, prepared to pull with everything he had to avoid losing his finger.

However, this preparation was unnecessary.

The moment his finger touched the mirror, although at first it did enter and the sensation was extremely similar to that of the large mirror he used to get here, being cold and hot at the same time, it was then ejected with considerable force.

Since nothing else had happened, the young man tried his whole hand, to which he received much more resistance, but still the same results.

Finally, his whole arm went through the triangular mirror, with Noah now actively using his strength to overcome the mirror's repulsion.

Prolonging this, Noah tried to make sense of the sensations he now felt in his arm.

Unexpectedly, a cold breeze was the only thing he could feel.

Although he still didn't know exactly what was on the other side, at least there was wind, or so it seemed, so that was something.

"..."

Sitting silently in front of the triangle, Noah was considering whether he should test the idea that had formed in his head a while ago.

"I guess there's no other way."

Now with two hands on the ground, the young man decided to perform an action that was undoubtedly unwise.

With an unexpectedly fluid motion, Noah stuck his head into the triangular mirror.

*Crash!*

This time, the resistance of the mirror was much greater, causing small sparks of electricity to be released from the mirror's surface.

Still, Noah persevered, managing to get almost all the way in, even if it was hurting him.

Having the typical fear one has of the unknown, Noah did not open his eyes for a moment, but burying this fear, he looked at what was on the other side of the triangular mirror.

There, what he saw before him was his own room.

It wasn't the same as the mirror world, as the colors had returned, a fact that Noah hadn't realized how much it comforted him.

His window was open, letting in all the sunlight along with the typical morning breeze.

Apparently, he had indeed managed to open a portal to his world.

*CHISH!*

Amidst sparks, Noah was violently pushed into the mirror world, his body lying on the floor.

However, as if he didn't mind this fact, the young man had a big smile on his face, not even caring about this little amount of pain.

In the next few minutes, what Noah did was to prepare all his things, with the clear intention of returning home.

One by one, both the cookies and the apple juice, as well as his tools, were all introduced to the mirror.

Now, the only thing left to pass through the mirror was himself.

This was where the biggest problem was going to be, and where Noah would take the longest amount of time.

After all, for his head alone, the resistance he felt was quite a lot, so for the rest of his body, an enormous force would be needed to overcome that of the mirror's repulsion.

His first idea was simple, using a chair and other objects to build a tower before jumping towards the mirror.

*Bam!*

"GAH!"

With a loud noise, what happened in this case was that Noah, just as his torso had entered, it was ejected into the mirror world with such force that he hit the ceiling and then fell to the floor.

After a few minutes of recovery, he came up with another idea, that of using a rope to try to enter.

Tearing his already worn hoodie and shirt, he managed to form a very rustic rope together with a loop, which he used to, by sticking his head and arm into the mirror, anchor it to his bed.

His attempts alone to anchor his bed with the rope took considerable time and effort, but thanks to his tenacity, he achieved his goal.

Unfortunately, when he tried to get into the mirror, the bed immediately gave way, causing Noah to immediately let go of the rope to prevent the bed from sticking to the mirror.

Besides, he also didn't want the noise to be so much that his mother came into the room, as it would be a bit more than complicated to explain what was going on.

Thus, tired and frustrated, Noah now found himself lying on the floor of the attic, thinking about what he could do.

"What a problem..."

Letting out a sigh, he continued to rest until he felt his body was okay, within reason.

Finally, removing his shirt, Noah stuck both arms into the mirror, with them gripping the outside of the edges of the metal mirror.

"UURGH!!!"

Then, with all the strength he had, he thrust his body in starting with his head, sparks beginning to fill the surroundings.

"COME ON!!!"

By this point, the muscles in Noah's arms were bulging beyond belief, slowly resisting the repulsive force of the mirror, not to mention the burning sensation he felt in the part of his body that was connected to the mirror.

Still, all he seemed to be able to do was just that, resist, not overcome, causing Noah's body to linger at a midpoint of not being able to move forward.

*Chack!*

At that moment, when Noah seemed about to lose, a change occurred in Noah's body.

Quickly, the veins on his arms began to stand out, although their appearance was not that of simply being full of blood from exerting too much force, but appeared to be filled with a black liquid.

When they appeared, as if it had filled him with energy and strength, Noah's body truly began to move forward.

Before, he had not been able to get his torso into the portal, but thanks to this new strength he felt, Noah had now already reached his abdomen, and did not stop there.

"ARGH!!! COME ON!!!" Letting out a scream, Noah gave it his all, his arms burning painfully.

Until finally, with a superhuman effort, Noah's entire body broke through the mirror, falling to the ground.

*Bam!*

The door to his room then opened, revealing his mother in her pajamas, who had an annoyed expression on her face.

"Do you know what time it is?! It's 5 a.m!"

With that, his mother scolded him for a while before she went back to his room grumbling.

Although normally being scolded was not a pleasant thing, Noah couldn't have been happier to listen to his mother.

That way, Noah had managed, thanks to the help of some mysterious symbols and blood, to return to his world.

---

Several hours passed and the sun had gone down.

After a shower and a nap in his own bed, Noah was back at his desk, notebook in hand and laptop on an occult website, as for the mirror, it was already covered with a white sheet.

Thanks to this second trip, he was able to solve many questions from before that he had, whether in the monster section or the mirror world itself.

For starters, he added to the mirror world section that time seemed static.

In addition, he also added a theory to be confirmed, that of whether electronic objects worked there, since at the moment, the only apparent proof he had was his digital clock.

Which, it had to be mentioned, returned to normal operation the moment Noah returned, albeit with the wrong time.

The next section that underwent several changes was the monsters section, with added information and names.

For example, the multi-limbed creature had its own small section, with a drawing and short description.

Written in the notebook was:

Putridbrute - It is about two meters tall, possesses several limbs, including a very long one to use to catch its prey, each of the limbs are strong, it is slow and its intelligence is low. Capable of causing dangerous infections whose only cure is the death of the cause of the infection. (I hope). It is recommended to take advantage of its slowness and clumsiness.

Below this was also the drawing of the slim monster, though understandably, since Noah did not have a close encounter with this monster, he could only write what he had.

Boneclaw - It is about one meter and eighty centimeters tall, possesses a single eye along with skeletal appearance and long arms ending in sharp claws, possesses great speed though apparently weaker than the Putridbrute in a close confrontation. Caution is advised due to lack of knowledge.

Looking at his drawings, Noah was satisfied and began the next part, which was a new section that he had a feeling would be perhaps the largest in his entire notebook.

The symbols that helped him open the portal.

Whether it was the bird, the rectangle, or the four-legged animal, Noah knew that each of these not only carried a hidden meaning, but also contained a power unknown to him.

Wanting to find out more information about these, the young man delved into the internet as to what these three symbols might mean separately or together.

Unfortunately, proving again that occult-related topics were among the most varied Noah had ever seen, he found several answers.

Whether pertaining to a mythology or simply representing symbolism, there were different origins and meanings depending on where he looked.

And yet, this, rather than expanding Noah's horizons, what it did was actually confirm that his own experience had given him more information than what he was reading, or at least that was what he felt.

Although a couple of articles did come close to what Noah had experienced about the symbols, he preferred to write in his notebook using his own words.

Similar to the creatures, the three symbols also drew, albeit much more shorter descriptions and finally, names based purely on the young man's sensations.

Thus, the rectangle became "The Gate", the bird became "The Guide", and the four-legged animal became "The Guardian".

The Door - The way to another unknown place.

The Guide - The one who lights the path shown by the door.

The Guardian - The one who protects the wayfarer.

Although he could add more words, Noah felt that these short descriptions served perfectly for each of the symbols.

He didn't know if that was really the meaning they held, but it was the truth for him.

As for the name the three symbols took, Noah thought it wouldn't be wrong to call it a trinity, as each of these couldn't function without the other.

"...At least, that's how I feel." Noah said looking at his notebook with a triangle containing the three symbols.

Turning to another page, the young man began writing theories as well as looking for information on why these symbols had power.

For some reason, even though he had gone through what could well be called a traumatic experience, he was now more interested in this new source of mystery that was the mirror world, something that only increased with the symbols and creatures inside. .

Gradually, as curiosity began to fill Noah, time progressed until night fell.

Finally, at midnight, the young man stretched out in his chair, putting away his notebook with an interested expression.

"I need more information..."

Saying that, he got up and headed for the bathroom to wash up before going to sleep, already feeling a slight tiredness in his body.

*Tap tap tap tap*

With Noah walking down the hallway, the room was left empty.

----

*Fwop!*

Immediately after, as if it had been waiting for this moment, the sheet covering the mirror had fallen off.

The next moment, tiny sparks began to appear on the surface of the metal mirror.
