Celebrating the delayed wedding

Biting her own nails was a habit that Ashley got from her own sister. She was listening to her Calculus I teacher while helplessly biting her nails. She was having fun listening to her teacher since she liked Calculus I.

She just handed her papers to her teacher after finalizing everything. She prayed that she didn't miss anything and miscalculated number 14. She bit her nails again and again while looking at the clock.

Her teacher, Miss Adams was still waiting for the other students to pass theirs. She was getting frustrated at her classmates for taking too much time though she knew that it wasn't really their fault.

Meanwhile, Victoria was having her Microbiology class, Dylan with his Saucier and the brothers, Christian and Justin were having Chemistry out of all easy classes. Good for the couple, they didn't have to suffer in Business Management.

Victoria too was frustrated at her classmates for taking too much time in answering their test papers. The clock was ticking ever so slowly. It felt like every second was a year.

"so do you have any—where are you going Ms. Moore?"

"aren't we done Miss Adams?"

"uh...yes,"

"then I gotta go, bye Miss Adams,"

While she was walking down the stairs, she called the others. She walked past Liana's classroom and thankfully, she remembered that she wasn't there. She went to the closest building and went to the 7th floor and looked for Dylan.

When she arrived, his class was still cooking and she had to stand outside. She gave him the angry eyes to let him know that they should be there 15 minutes earlier. He sighed and quickly finished what he was doing before casually walking at her direction.

"oh please Mr. Taylor, I don't need your cool walk. I wanna eat at an expensive restaurant and especially when Liana's the one paying," she grabbed his arm and started running.

When she managed to get everyone running and arrived at the gate, they saw her and Jun standing, waiting for them.

" you're a second late, "

Ashley scoffed and kicked Liana's butt." you're lucky that I didn't want to stomp your heels cause I know that feeling,"

"get in the car,"

"you sure have a lot of cars, huh?" Victoria chuckled, looking around.

"So, where are we going?" Ashley whispered behind her who was still searching for a good place.

"I don't know. There's a lot actually. Blue Smoke Plate, White Divine House, Golden Burgers or Black Dragon Corner,"

"hold up! Did you say White Divine House and Black Dragon Corner? Dang, you must've used your card for the first time," Dylan expressed.

Everyone knew that in every lunch or dinner they had, Liana was exempted from paying hers. One of them would pay hers and they would take turns. Well, it was mostly because she was the youngest and everyone missed her teenage years.

"Nah, I just realized that I never payed your kindness and I always rely on all of you whenever we go to places," she said, quietly.

"Anyways, let's just go to White Divine House and maybe next time, I'll treat you to Golden Burgers or any of the 5,"

"woah! There's next time? Something's happening to Liana," Justin teased.

Everyone knew that today's Liana was a rare thing.

"If ever we're all sharing the same dream, tell my parents to never wake me up,"

Liana nodded her head and raised her thumbs before she looked at the rear mirror and met Victoria's teasing eyes. She was confused at first but when she looked at her hands which was intertwined with Jun's, she got it.

She made a 'tsk' sound as Victoria kept giving her the weird looks.

After 20 minutes, Justin and Ashley, the babies in the group, were complaining. Both were feeling dizzy and nauseated.

Victoria straightened herself before tapping at Liana's shoulders. "you said you were going to tell us something," she said.

Liana made the same sound before she explained to them. She was hoping that Ashley wouldn't be mad at her.

"right, I moved the wedding date,"

"you WHAT?!" Ashley shouted. Thankfully, Christian sat beside her and pulled her back to her seat.

"C'mon, they just shipped my gown!"

Sighing, Liana felt deeply sorry for moving the date but she couldn't do anything about that. It was also for her safety. If things go wrong, they would be in trouble and some people could be involved.

If her friends would be involved, she would never forgive herself. She might consider asking help from the authorities. And she didn't like that becuase first, the authorities aren't in good terms with mafias and secondly, she just didn't want to involve more innocent people.

"we can use your gown for something else,"

She tried to cheer her up by letting Ashley order anything she wanted and bring food at home too. They all knew that she loved to eat in classes.

"Are we there yet?"

Sorry guys, I wrote this on the afternoon but there was no internet connection. I tried to write again but I lost it. It happens sometimes. I'm so frustrated that I forgot to save it.

I don't know if I can make 2 more chapters. Let's just hope that I'll be able to update. I'm getting sleepy ?

Happy reading everyone ? ? ?
