Chapter 55 Hitting two birds with one stone

Mellisa rolled her eyes at Maxwell's overconfidence. "How can you be so sure that you can get me to agree to be your girlfriend??" she scoffed. "Even if you can lift the mountain, I will never be a girlfriend of such a parvet like you."

Maxwell lifted his eyebrows, amusement on his face. "Are you challenging me Mellisa?" he asked.

"Well, you can take it however you want, but you can never make me your girlfriend because I will not agree," Mellisa replied with a challenging tone.

"Okay then, I will get you to agree to be my girlfriend within a week and if I fail, you can punish me however you want. But if I succeed, I will punish you however I want," Maxwell suggested.

Mellisa smirked. "Well, I know that I'm not going to lose, so the challenge is accepted," she declared.

"Okay then, we shall see who is going to win and who is going to lose the challenge." Maxwell said amused.
