Melissa was now utterly exhausted, and Maxwell stepped in to help her out. He gently bathed her, and then carried her to the bedroom. Despite her cheeks burning in embarrassment, Melissa remained silent and allowed him to help her, as she was too tired to even move a finger. After drying her hair, Maxwell retrieved some clothes from her closet for her to change into. He then took his own clothes and went to the bathroom to change, so as not to make her feel any more uncomfortable. By the time he returned, Melissa had already changed.
