High maintenance, high rewards

Shun looked towards Itsuka who was looking back at him. Both of them continued to stare at each other not knowing how to open a conversation in such an awkward situation.

"Ne Ne Shun, is that your friend?" asked the curious blue head making both of them look at her.

"...Let me introduce you two, Nejire meet Itsuka Kendo. Itsuka she is Nejire Hado."

"H-Hi."

"Hello. You must be Shun's friend right? Hey what is your quirk. Your hair are orange.....they look beautiful and interesting." said the excited Nejire seeing one of Shun's friend.

Itsuka who was taken aback by Nejire's personality looked towards Shun who just gave him a gesture to bear with it.

Itsuka's lips twitched seeing that, she was totally not in the mood of going through what Shun asked her to do, as she was more curious about the relationship between Shun and the girl in front of her...and why the hell were they having that kind of conversation in public.

Shun looked at his watch and said, "Let's talk while walking....Nejire calm down or you will get late."

"Sure~." said Nejire as she looked at Shun who gestured Itsuka bro join them.

From there on he started to clear the misunderstandings which was easily cleared because the innocent Nejire easily told what Shun asked of him with a smile as she felt happy seeing that Shun was telling about her to his friend.

"...What to say....she is, umm unique." said Itsuka as she and Shun were now alone on their way to school. They parted ways with Nejire at the station and were now alone.

"Well she sure is a handful, but she is a nice person." said Shun.

"...So you and her train together....like everyday.....just you two." asked Itsuka.

"Well yeah, though there are times when either of us are busy so we have our breaks from time to time....She is really stubborn when it comes to using her quirk and improving it, so it usually is quite nice to train with her." said Shun.

"Hmm.....so he likes being around her...." muttered Itsuka.

Shun and Itsuka then continued walking and soon reached the school.

"....There was no prez work there, right?" asked Shun.

"Hmm.....ah, no." said Itsuka suddenly snapping out of trance.

"...You alright, seems like you were in your own world just now?" asked Shun looking towards her with concern.

Itsuka looked at him with a smile and shook her head and told him that it was nothing.

Shun looked at her for a while before he looked away and soon reached the class.

After that he had he followed his regular routine of napping behind Gian while also working on some of his project blueprints. Had lunch with his friends skipped a few classes and then waited for the school bell to ring.

Once the bell signaled that they were now allowed to go home.

He immediately looked towards the boy beside him and said, "Neito, do me a favour, and distribute these handouts. I have some other work to do."

"Hmm..sure.....ah, but don't forget tomorrow we have a match against section C, so don't tire yourself out today." said Neito.

Shun nodded and then looked towards Itsuka who had packed her stuff and was about to leave but Shun patted her shoulder earning her attention and said, "Come with me, there is some work left."

"...What work?" asked Itsuka.

Shun looked around and then moved closer to her and whispered, "I improved the motorbike.....so wanna come with me and try it?"

Itsuka's eyes widened in surprise as she heard that and immediately felt a feeling of joy and nodded her head without thinking much.

Shun nodded as well and then walked out of the class along with her and then went behind the school building.

From there he teleported along with her to a nearby open area and made two helmets out of Vibranium.

He then made a bike made of Vibranium and then changed its colour to black and passed one helmet to Itsuka.

Shun then sat down followed by Itsuka who sat behind him and Shun asked, "Hold on tight okay, this is still a prototype."

"...It will be safe right?" asked Itsuka with a sarcastic tone.

"It should be.....who knows." said Shun and rotated the accelerator taking Itsuka by surprise, making her body collide against Shun's back.

"Hold on tight, I told you." said Shun and then thought, 'Those are developing just fine.'

Itsuka just held his waist and enjoyed the ride along with Shun as they made some jokes from time to time.....and indeed some minor problems came out with the bike, though they were not dangerous much to Shun's relief.

Soon they reached Itsuka's home and she got off the bike and gave her helmet back to Shun.

Shun got off the bike as well and absorbed both the bike and the helmets and then asked, "So, are you fine now.....compared to the morning?"

Itsuka blinked in surprise and after a while realised what Shun meant and nodded her head with a smile and said, "Yeah.....thank you for taking that off my mind."

Shun just shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, if you are fine then all of that was worth it.....can you believe I spent the whole day at school adjusting the bike which I could have spent on sleeping.....you really are high maintenance."

Itsuka scoffed at what he said and then punched his shoulder making him groan a bit but soon both of them chuckled.

"Hey Shun, do you mind if I join you and that girl from the morning to train as well...?" asked Itsuka with slight embarrasment.

"Hmm, I don't have a problem with it.....though I will ask Nejire about it and will tell you later...." said Shun after thinking about it for a while and thought that it was better for a normal girl to be with him while he was dealing with Nejire to control her a bit.

Itsuka smiled brightly and nodded her head. "Umu....thanks, tell me later."

Shun nodded and told her that he would do so.

"And this is for the ride." said Itsuka as she took a step closer to Shun and gave his a peck on his cheek.

Shun who suddenly got a kiss on his cheek from Itsuka stood their silently with a surprised look on his face.

"What the-"

"High maintenance, high rewards. Bye." said Itsuka quickly as she rushed towards her home and got inside not waiting a second to let Shin say anything.

'Uwaa, I did that!! Awawawa she won't think bad of me right?" though Itsuka who was now inside her house leaning against the door and holding her cheeks with both hands.

She then looked up only to find her mother looking at her with a smug on her face.

'Ahhhhh!!! I wanna die!!!' thought Itsuka as she argued with her mother who was showing a thumbs up with a cheeky grin on her face.
