I Thought We Were Friends...

My interview started at eight o' clock so I had to get up at 5 o' clock in the morning to be ready on time. Sadly my hero suit was trashed so I had to go formal. I put on a white button down shirt with a blue tie and black jacket along with a black trousers and black shoes. I was told to head to the front of UA by Mr. Aizawa but when I walked there I didn't see him. I just saw a tall man who had messy white hair, pointy ears, and gold eyes. He was smiling right at me with his sharp teeth.

" OH, the way Minato described you sounded a bit boring," the man said. " But, this! Ah, yes, this right here is a masterpiece!"

" Wait...are you, Mr. Miyogas brother?," I questioned.

" Yes, if you're talking about Minato Miyoga then yes," the man replied. " My name is Ikutaro. You can call me whatever you want even if it's an insult I don't care."

Ikutaro opened the door to a black car and motioned me to sit in the passenger seat.

[An Hour Later]

" Alright listen up, kid,'' a camera man told me. " Your going to be expected to answer every question we ask you. Now no funny business alright? There will also be some questions about the name and the nature of your quirk. So, it can't be like last time when you refused to say the name of your quirk."

I nodded.

" Live in 3,2,...1! AND good morning Musatafu, Japan!," the man sitting in the chair across from me greeted. " It is a special day today and with us we have an even special person!First year student at U.A. highschool Daiki Nakamura, otherwise known as the High-Style hero: Phoenix X. Why don't you say hi. Nakamura!"

"Hi," I nervously said.

" Now let's start things off with a simple. Why did you choose to enroll in U.A. and strive to become a hero?," the man asked.

" Well...I've always looked up to the top three heroes when I was four," I replied. " Deku, Dynamight, and Shoto. I found it amazing that no matter how hard the fight got or how badly injured they were they never gave up. I wanted to be just like those three and save as many lives as I could. I wanted to be...super."

" Ok, next question, how do you feel about pro hero Deku's retirement?"

" To be honest, I didn't say this in my first interview but Deku and I have a special relationship. When I said me and him are connected like a magnetic force I meant something more...something mental and physical," I answered.

" Can you let us in on more details after this last question?," the man wondered.

I nodded.

" Ok, do you have any info on the league's plans?"

" No, sadly I don't," I admitted. " Wait why do people keep the-you know what never mind go one."

To me it was so messed up that people kept accusing me of working with the league or reset. It was so damn annoying.

" Ok now, what is the truth about your quirk?"

I took a deep breath. " My quirk...my quirks name is One For All. The truth...the truth is it's passed on from generation to generation. Deku had this quirk and before him it was Allmight. Deku chose me to be his successor and right now I wield such a powerful and maybe...dangerous quirk."

I heard a couple of gasp and it suddenly grew quiet.

" Yeah...pretty crazy right? It was hard for me to make this choice. Yeah, it turns out Tomura Shigaraki has the quirk of the man you call All For One and All For One and Shigaraki are both still out there. I would probably be hunted down by the government or something like that but the truth deserved to get out..."

It was silent for a second. Not even a single pen drop was heard in the room until all the lights shut off.

" Uhm...blackout?," a man questioned.

Then, the big screen in front of me lit up. And all I saw was a...pink haired boy with his head down. My eyes widened and sweat started to form on my forehead.

" Daiki, I know you're currently being interviewed but...today is the last chance you'll be able to see me," Yuu says. " You're probably wondering...yeah people are seeing this all over Japan at this moment. My name is Yuuichirou HORIKAWA! That's my real name!"

[Thirty Minutes Ago]

*HIJIRI POV*

"Dear Hijiri,

I know this is a horrible way to start out the truth but. You're my best friend and I could only tell you this directly. The name of my quirk is One For All. Deku had passed it on to me. He expects me to use it wisely and make the correct choices. So I chose to tell the whole world about this. This letter to you is quite different from the one I sent the others..."

*ORIGINAL MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD*

Meanwhile, Yuuichiro was still being seen.

" My whole life," he continued. " I've wondered, why were heroes...heroes? What was the actual difference between a hero and a villain? But have you ever wondered. Most villains had dreams of becoming heroes . They could never fulfill those dreams because people told them they couldn't or someone in their lives treated them like shit. People like Touya Todoroki, Tomura Shigaraki, and me are only treated this way because of YOU! Others, because of the nature of their quirks they could never fit in. Those people are Jin Bubaigawara and Himiko Toga. And some others who find this world cruel and want to get rid of all those selfish heroes filled with greed. That's Hero Killer: Stain and every other villain in this world. But let me say this. There is no good and there is NO bad! Sorting people into heroes and villains is pointless! But if we really did have to do that then it would be the other way around. Heroes are the villains and the villains are the real heroes."

Back in the UA common room everyone was hearing this. Akito's mouth trembled as he let out a shaky breath.

" TELL ME IT'S A DAMN JOKE!," Tadashi demanded. " TELL ME THIS IS JUST SOME DIRTY LITTLE TRICK!"

" You now I can hear your Tadashi Todoroki...," Yuu mentioned. " Someone in that room has a mic on them right now. Speaking of Todoroki. Tadashi, Yuki, your father and uncle-Touya- were both victims of your grandfather's abuse. They were treated as tools so Enji could get what he wanted. He wanted to become number one. But he knew he could never surpass Allmight. So he let greed take over him and had four children with Rei Himura. His oldest son Touya had nothing but fire as his quirk. Endeavour wanted a child that would get both parents quirks. But Touya's fire was even more powerful. Still Endeavour had even more children. The next being Fuyumi Todoroki, only had Rei's ice. So Endeavour kept on with his greed. After three children his fourth and youngest child Shoto Todoroki possessed both his mothers ice and his fathers fire. Endeavour completely neglected his other child and kept his focus on Shoto; his hope for making his dream a reality. Shoto was pulled away from his siblings and forced to focus on training. Shoto was abused everyday even still as a weak five year old. Then his father was to blame for the scar his mother left on Shoto's left eye. Every single villain...same story, different name. I won't be sharing my story today."

The screen switched to a scene from twenty two years ago.

" Most of you dream chasers might've forgotten about this but...hawks killed Jin Bubaigawara in cold-blood. Jin was just trying to reach out and save his friends. He died protecting Mr. Compress and Himiko Toga. Then Compress died risking his life to help Tomura and Shuichi," the boy confirmed. " These villains have lives and families too, you know! RIGHT NOW I'M SPEAKING FOR JIN AND ALL THE OTHER 'VILLAINS' THAT HAVE BEEN KILLED! HAWKS HAD NO RIGHT TO CALL JIN UNLUCKY. ALL OF US HAVE PURELY BLESSED LIVES. We care for our friends. We will do anything for them. I have one more person who needs to show themselves tonight. One last thing. Yes I witnessed everything. I was born within' that time. But thanks to Kai...I have more time in this crappy world."

*DAIKI POV*

" WHERE'S YUU?!," I shouted bursting through the dorm door

" I'm sorry...but I had to get the truth out some time, didn't I?," his voice questioned. " Just like you, Daiki."

I clenched my fist as I felt Yuu's hand touch my shoulder.

" I didn't want to tell you all too soon but plans were extended so I had to make it quick," his voice made a shiver crawl up my spine.

Tadashi jumped up, " YUU, YOU LYING SCUM!"

He ran at Yuu and tried to punch him but Yuu grabbed his wrist.

" Yuu, Tadash, please...," I pleaded.

" Who the hell...are you calling a scum?," Yuu asked. " Did you not hear a word I said?! Damn, I don't have any time for this. Sachi, let's go!"

" W-Why are you calling his name?," Tadashi questioned.

" I figured even a slow human like you would figure it out," Yuu sighed. " Sachi is simply with me."

" CUT THE CRAP," Hijiri yelled. " SACHI WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SOMEONE LIKE YOU!"

Yuu chuckled. " Someone like me?! NONE of you know ME! SACHI LET'S GO! NOW!"

I saw Sachi start to tremble.

Behind him a black portal opened up and a man with white hair came through. He had some purple cloth stable to his arms and chin.

" Yeah, let's go, Sachi," Touya said. " We're waiting."

" N-Not you too...," Hijiri stuttered. " Sachi, tell me it's not true!"

Yuu walked away from Tadashi and to wear Yuu and Touya were standing.

" Don't take what I said to the back of your head, Daiki," Yuu told me.

I ran at him, " YOUR NOT LIKE THEM! YOUR THE WORSE THAN EVIL OR COLD HEARTED!"

Before I could react Yuu kicked me in my chest and punched me in the face making me fall to the ground.

" Next time I see you it'll be the last," Yuu warned.

With that, Yuu walked inside the portal and so did Touya.

" S-Sachi...I-I thought...w-we were f-friends. YOU TOLD ME THAT! YOU SAID I WAS YOUR BEST FRIEND, SACHI!"

Sachi looked back and I could see tears forming in his eyes.

" I-I'm sorry," were his last words before he went away.

I've never seen Hijiri this devastated before. Hijiri let out a blood curling scream and started to sob.

" I BET YOU WERE IN ON IT TO, NAKAMURA!," Tadashi yelled as he grabbed me up my shirt collar. " YOU WERE WORKING THEM TOO EH?! IT'S THE ONLY WAY SHIGARAKI COULD'VE GOT INFORMATION ON DEKU. YOUR THE ONLY ON WHO'S 'CLOSE TO HIM LIKE A MAGNETIC FORCE'. IT'S THE ONLY WAY TWO SECRETS COULD'VE GOT OUT TODAY AT SUCH CLOSE TIMES! PLEASE, DON'T HIDE ANYMORE SECRETS FROM US ANYMORE! PLEASE JUST PROVE YOUR OUR FRIEND!"

I dropped to my knees with my head to the ground. I started to break down in heavy tears. Why, Yuu? Why would you pretend to be my friend? Why would you break Hijiri's heart Sachi? Just tell me the reason for all of this! Nobody said a word about my quirk and nobody cared. We only cared for the two people we thought were our friends. Yuu Hogo-no his name is Yuuichirou Horikawa- and Sachi Todoroki were both hidden traitors in UA. And all of us that night just wondered...why them? Why are the two most kind hearted kids in our class? Why did they have to turn and betray our trust?

[THREE MONTHS AGO...]

*HIJIRI POV*

" It...It's a limited edition Hawks key chain!," Sachi exclaimed. " It must be so rare if it cost ¥2,191. Dang...I don't have anything on me."

I looked at Sachi and wondered...

" If it's special to you...then here," I held out ¥2,300. " Don't think I'll do it for you again you chicken wing fanboy."

" Wait, you're really giving this to me?!," Sachi asked. " Wow, thanks, Hijiri!"

" Don't mention it," I scuffed.

" It's quite surprising that you two are friends," Daiki said. " If it's someone like Sachi then I would expect you to hate him, Hijiri. This must be something extra special."

" So what," I sneered. " I'm just helping out a comrade. Problem with that?"

[PRESENT DAY]

Why did you have to go, Sachi? Why the hell did you have to follow that bastard Yuu you idiot? I thought you cared about me and my feelings. What about everyone else? Would you go if it were just me there? I'll get you back even if it kills me. I don't give a shit what other people think, you're my friend and no matter what I'll always stick by your side.
