Chef Yuu?! She Knows!

"Nakamura, if you don't get this right we'll be here all night!," Mr. Miyoga said. " When you do get it right we'll be moving on to an Ice Skating rink."

Mr. Miyoga was trying to teach some new techniques. He said it helps me keep my balance when I'm at a high speed or when I try different routes when I'm trying to attack with my quirk.

" Now 360!," he ordered.

I spun in the air but I ended up doing a 180 instead and fell on the ground in the process.

" Your balance is terrible," Mr. Miyoga told me. " Your stance was completely off when you were preparing for the jump. I said keep your feet shoulder width apart and your toes on your left foot facing the left. You also jumped in the air with both knees I said start off with the right leg first. I also said don't go higher than 5%, I noticed that you went up to 6%."

" How do you even know all of this?," I asked.

" I used ice skate when I was sixteen, I stopped when I was twenty eight because of my hero work. I thought maybe some tips will help you," Mr. Miyoga replied.

" Wait what is your quirk?," I asked.

" If you ever noticed, Akito draws energy from light, that's how he uses his quirk to run fast and get strength. My quirk is the other way around. I can draw energy from the darkness. Sometimes it can affect my thoughts and make them negative. That's why I don't use it much. I still don't have full control over it but I have more control than you do over One For All," he answered. " Now get back to work."

No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get it. The last time I did it I fell face first in the grass.

" That's it for today," Mr.Miyoga said. " If you don't get this by tomorrow don't bother coming to me for lessons anymore."

I felt like screaming until I couldn't breathe. Something was wrong with my body ever since I was included in the villian attack. It was like I went back to only being able to use 5% of One For All. Maybe...maybe it was because One For All wasn't mine yet. Or maybe it had something to do with how my arms just automatically healed when I touched Akito's quirk. Quirks are really confusing.

" Hey, Daiki," Yuu greeted me as I walked inside the dorms. " You look beat."

" Hi." I waved.

I slumped down onto the couch and closed my eyes for a few minutes. When I opened them I saw Yuu standing there grinning.

" Yes?," I asked.

" You have to be hungry. Everyone elses is eating," he said. " Come on!"

I sat down at the table and Yuu put plates in front of me.

" What's this?," I questioned.

" It's Japanese curry. Yes, I can cook. I added my own touch to the original recipe," Yuu replied.

" I didn't know you could cook!," I said.

Yuu grinned. " My dad owns a restaurant in town. I guess I get it from him. If I never got into U.A. I probably would've taken over his business. Anyways, go ahead try it guys!"

I gathered up a spoonful from the bowl and tasted the curry. It took me a while for my taste buds to actually taste the taste. I felt my body start to heat up. It was extremely hot but at the same time eat " W-What type of spice did you use in this?!," I exclaimed. " It's so spicy but at the same time the amount of flavor is tangling my tongue."

I started stuffing my mouth with more food.

" I'm glad you like it!." Yuu put his thumbs up.

Nori was already done with her food.

" More, please!," she begged.

Yuu rubbed the back of his head. " I-I didn't really make enough for seconds. But I did make a plate for myself. I have desert baking up right now."

He put on gloves and opened the oven. " I made Chocolate Chiffon Cake!"

" You gotta teach me how to make this stuff!," Tadashi said.

" If I did you would end up burning the dorm down," Yuu said.

" Ok then, Chef Hogo."

Yuu cut up the cake and handed us each a slice. When I tasted it I felt like I was going to pass out.

" THIS IS FU-FREAKING AMAZING!," Hijiri yelled. " YOUR COOKIN' EVERYDAY FROM NOW ON!"

" Ok," Yuu agreed. " Uh, Nori are you ok?"

Nori started rambling about how great the food was until it sounded like she was speaking gibberish.

My room in the dorm was like it was when I first moved into UA. It was empty. I guess that my stuff had been destroyed when the attack happened. That means I would get to redesign it. But the bad news was that all my new suit plans were destroyed. so I probably had to start over or try to remember what I originally came up with. I heard someone knock on my room door. When I opened it I saw Nori.

" What do you need?," I asked.

" Well...I thought I would let you know what was on my mind lately," she told me.

" Oh, come in then." I stepped away from the door and let her walk on.

As soon as I closed the door she stepped really close to me and stared me dead in the eyes. I felt my face heat up.

" You are terrible at keeping secrets," she mentioned.

" What d-do y-you me-mean," I stuttered.

" You think my dad wouldn't tell me? Of course he told his eldest child about One For All," she said. " I found out about you on my own. You've been showing signs ever since I first saw you use your quirk."

I stayed silent for thirty seconds. How was everyone finding out about it all of a sudden?! First Watanabe now...Nori! Soon the whole world will know! Before Nori could say anything else I put my hand on her mouth.

" Don't tell ANYONE!," I ordered. " If anyone else finds out I mine as well tell the whole world! Please, I beg of you!"

Nori removed my hand from her mouth. " I wasn't gonna tell anyone! You're making it even more obvious by yelling!"

I took a step back. " Sorry! I should've realized that immediately...I should've known Deku told you. Even though you don't seem like the type to keep a secret."

Nori crossed her arms over her chest. " I can keep a secret!," she protested. " Well, at least important secrets."

" Does Akito know about One For all too?," I questioned.

" He knows about my dad having it...I laid back on telling him it was passed down to you. Ever since he found out he's been working his body even harder hoping dad would pass it down to him. I'm not eager to see what will happen if he found out it was already given away."

" I understand that you wouldn't want his feelings to be hurt...away from all this quirk talk why are you really here?"

Nori put her fist on my head. " What do you mean?!"

" I can name one hundred other reasons of why you would be here: you got hurt physically, someone hurt your feelings, you need help with training, you need a study buddy, your brother got stuck in a tree, Tadashi is traumatizing you, Hijiri is trying to use you as a punching bag, you just had you first kiss, you dealt with a break up, you're looking for relationship advice, ect."

" Two of those suggestions haven't happened yet," she pointed out. "It'll be hard for you to figure those out."

I looked at her with blank innocent eyes. " It's the part where I said you had your first kiss and you dealt with a break up isn't it?"

" IT'S not that obvious!," Nori yelled.

" Ok, i'm sorry. Seriously though, the same goes for me...though I never exactly went looking for relationship advice before. Tadashi tried to offer me but I said no. But if you went for relationship advice then you have to like someone in class D right? Tell me!."

" Y-your so nosey!" She took a deep breath. " He has blue eyes and black hair with some other color in it and He's super loyal and friendly."

" If it isn't me it's Sachi!," I said. " I doubt it's me because I'm not that good with girls. The last time I tried something junior high I nearly got stabbed in the eye."

" Yeah...I'm just gonna keep my feelings to myself," Nori mumbled. " Nice speaking to you. Also, my dad told me he couldn't tell you himself so he told me to tell you that he only has one left! Nice talking to you!"

Nori left my room. And then Tadashi showed up out of nowhere.

" You went for it didn't you?," he asked. " HA! I told you it would work!"

" I didn't do anything. I'm not gonna go too fast on it," I told him. " It's only August. And besides it's not like she has interest in me."

I closed my room door in his face. When I confirmed the coast was clear I grabbed a pillow dropped to the floor and let out a scream of happiness into it. This meant she liked me too! The only people with black hair AND blue eyes were me, Sachi. I removed my pillow from my face and stared up at the ceiling. I noticed something about myself and this life. When something bad happened something good was given to me in return. When I broke my arms in the entrance exam later on Deku had given me his quirk and I got into UA. When Sora was talking all that crap about me Hijri busted in and began to show that he cared again. My brother had retired from his hero work but now...I know that Nori has feelings for me. HEAVY feelings.

" I truly am blessed in this life," I thought.

I felt my eyelids start to get heavy. Before I knew I had drifted off to sleep.
