System AI Alicia and System Starter Package

A system screen appeared in front of him as the voice of the system AI was heard in his mind. The voice wasn't a cold robotic AI but the sweet voice of a young maiden!

The system AI's voice was very alluring. It sounded like the voice of a female friend due to the friendly tone that the system AI had used.

'So the friend system is a female? That makes communicating with it a lot easier. I don't want to have a male system bounded with my soul.'

'As for whether to accept the starter package or not… only a fool would say no!'

With that thought in his mind, Keith tapped his finger on the [Yes] button.

[Keith has received the <Supreme Beauty> talent, 1x Indestructible Shape-shifting Clothes Set, and 1000 Friend Points. All of those are stored in Keith's system inventory.]

After receiving the contents of the system starter package, Keith didn't hurry in using it. He was still suspicious about the intentions of the Friend System.

Keith only had average intelligence, but it didn't mean that he was an idiot or oblivious to schemes. He knew that there was no such thing as a free lunch in this world.

"System, what are your intentions? Are you scheming about something that I don't know of?"

Keith asked about the friend system. From what he had heard from the system, the system, was bound to his soul. So even if he knew about the schemes of the system, he couldn't do anything about it, but Keith didn't mind as long as he knew about the system's schemes.

Knowing that you were being used and knowing why you were being used was better than knowing nothing at all. Especially if it was inevitable, Keith might as well know about the system's schemes than be oblivious of it.

[Don't call me system as if I was your toy. I have a name. You can call me Alicia, and I will call you Keith.]

The friend system AI, or Alicia sounded offended by what Keith had referred to her.

Alicia was a sentient system—a living entity, so she also has feelings. Her maiden heart was offended by Keith when he treated her like she was his object.

"I'm sorry, Alicia. I was inconsiderate of your feelings."

Keith admitted his mistakes. He wasn't like those arrogant and stubborn young masters. If it wasn't for his parent's wealthy status in his past life, he would be no different from the average otaku.

[I accept your apology, Keith. Next time, don't hurt a maiden's heart, or else you won't have any girlfriend!]

"Yes, yes, I won't."

If Keith knew one thing about women, was that they were fickle and capricious. And that was why he mostly agreed to what his mother would say to him, or else he would get a beating from her if he unknowingly offended her.

Alicia declared her goal as the friend system. World domination and world destruction didn't interest her, but she wanted to have 100 friends!

Keith asked her again since he was still skeptical whether she was lying to him or not.

Receiving a cute reply from Alicia, Keith felt as if someone stabbed his heart using the sword of wholesomeness.

Since Alicia wanted 100 friends, Keith didn't mind helping her achieve her goal.

Both of them were bounded with each other, so he was well aware that cooperating with Alicia was the ideal thing he could do, or else if he didn't cooperate, his life would be a living hell full of nothing but trouble.

Keith didn't want to argue, especially with a creature known as a "woman". He would only argue if he needed to, since he wasn't someone who would act passively.

[Keith, do you want to use your starter package rewards especially the <Supreme Beauty> talent?]

"I won't use anything I don't know of unless I desperately need to."

"Alicia, can you give me a brief description of all the starter package rewards that I have received?"

Hearing Keith's question, Alicia immediately summoned system screens in front of Keith that contained a brief description of every starter package reward that he had received.

Allows those who possess this talent to have a near-perfect appearance and an increase in charisma. Can charm both the opposite sex and the same sex.]

[Indestructible Shape-shifting Clothes Set- A set of clothes that can shape-shift into any other clothes. It doesn't provide any sort of defense but can infinitely repair itself which makes it indestructible.]

[Friend Points- The currency used by the Friend System. Can be used to purchase anything available in the system shop.]

Three system screens appeared in front of Keith, and what caught his attention the most was the description of the <Supreme Beauty> talent.

Almost everyone wanted to have a handsome or beautiful appearance and Keith wasn't an exception. So without any hesitation, Keith summoned the system interface for his system inventory and used the <Supreme Beauty> talent.

"Why do I feel… sleepy…"

With a muffled thud, Keith's body fell on his soft bed.

The system started to integrate the <Supreme Beauty> talent with Keith's body during the time that he was unconscious, as his body went through a drastic change in appearance.
