Keith kept on waiting for the game event for that ice phoenix waifumon to start, and as soon as he was notified that the game event had started, he ventured into the outside world to catch a legendary waifumon!

"So I have to cross the road to meet the ice phoenix waifumon? Why do I feel like it's a trap?"

Keith muttered to himself after finding out that the location of the ice phoenix waifumon was in the middle of the road. Because of that, he found it suspicious.

"Oh well, it's not like I am going to die or anything. What's the worst that could happen?"

Something was rising, and it was not the shield hero. It was the death flag!

When it came to catching waifumons, Keith was fearless. He was the type of man who would do anything just to make the girls like him!

Although Keith found it suspicious that the game event for the Ice Phoenix Waifumon was only announced yesterday, despite most game events in Waifumon Go being announced a week before they start, that wouldn't stop him from getting the waifu he wanted!

Without any hesitation, Keith bravely crossed the road while his attention was glued to his phone! He was currently checking the waifumon locater map and after arriving at the middle of the road, his phone beeped as it notified him of his successful capture!

'I better get out of here. I'll check the waifudex later.'

After making up his mind, Keith crossed the road to get to the other side.

'Wha-what?'

Keith's vision spun in circles as it kept on switching between seeing the sky and the ground. What shocked him the most was the bone-crushing impact that he had felt on the side of his body, and that impact made him somersault across the street.

His vision kept on changing, but he had made out the outline of a truck in sight. Not to mention, a shade of red blinded the sight of his right eye, which Keith assumed to be his blood.

'So this is how I die?'

With that thought in his mind, Keith's body slammed to the ground. His body which was beyond repair, lay on the cold asphalt road.

Keith heard the sound of a truck retreating from the road, and he knew that it was the truck driver performing a hit and run.

Both of his eyes were blurred with the prominent red hue that covered his eyes. The excruciating pain that he felt in his body was the reason why he didn't think of his current predicament as a dream but as a cruel reality.

His consciousness was starting to fade despite the pain he felt, and it could barely keep him awake. His blood soaked his entire body, and the warm sensation from his blood made him drowsy.

He closed his eyes, no longer able to keep his consciousness.

And that was how Keith died at the age of 18.

To get to the other side!
