He stared at Shigure with disbelief in his eyes and thought. 'Why the heck is this woman looking for me?'

The was the question that was plaguing mind, he couldn't think of a single thing of why Shigure would want to find him, it wasn't like he's important, nor they interacted enough to warrant her attention.

In fact they only talked a single sentence with each other, not mention that exchange happened less than a minute.

There shouldn't be a single for this woman to pursue him, yet she's here and has no idea what to do with her.

While he could avoid this situation and get the fuck out of this place, it probably wouldn't help as he had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to get away from this woman even with his scooter.

Hiru is pretty much aware of her feats in the manga and her agility and strength are inhumane.

He couldn't remember the ranks of martial artist as it's been a decade since he thought about any anime aside from this world as he was living in it and basically ever scrap of information that he could remember is very valuable for him to use.

It didn't cross his mind that this world is a mixed of anime that wasn't part of the original chainsaw man.

A crossover.

You can't blame him for not knowing that, after all he has things to prioritize after realizing he was in this world, a dangerous world that he could die anytime if he's unlucky.

Either way, he should confront of what does she want from him, he needed to be blunt, as he was sure that she wouldn't try to lie about why she's looking for him, if her personality was the same as the anime.

Then he shouldn't worry as Shigure doesn't really lie, however if she doesn't want to answer the question she would simply stay silent.

"You, why are you looking for me?"

Shigure titled her head, it was honestly cute, but there's no way he'd say that out loud.

"To.. protect…you…" She answered honestly.

Hiru blinked a couple times before saying. "What? Why?"

It was confusing, he doesn't really need protection right now, it wasn't like he couldn't defend himself as he got few things on his sleeve that he could use in a dire situation.

Shigure didn't say anything for a moment, probably thinking of what to say, as she wasn't really s talkative person in the first place, not to mention her social interaction with other human beings is quite limited to Ryouzanpaku.

"It's….my…fault…. before…that…got…you…involved…with…my..fight.. with…the….devil.." Shigure replied and looked like she was struggling to finish the entire sentence.

Oh, that's why she felt responsible for what happened before, while he could understand her statement, there was no reason for her to actually pursue him to this point, like he mentioned before they barely interacted, they weren't even acquaintance, just two strangers.

On the other note that doesn't have to do with the situation, her way of talking is weird, like he knew that it's her own way of communicating, however not that he's actually fluent in japanese and is one himself, he only realized how weird her way of talking is.

"Okay, okay I understand but was it really necessary for you to find me? I get that you feel responsible for what happened before, but there was absolutely no need for you to find me." It's not like he lost a limb of something, he was just grateful that he was able to leave unscratched, living in this world caused him to adapt in their way of life.

That, he has to be prepared for the worse, as in this world the death rate is just so high that millions would die worldwide and the world's population is slowly declining.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the humanity of this world is slowly becoming extinct.

That's why, the government around the world encourages everyone to start a family, even having multiple partners is completely legal.

Hiru was honestly surprised to find out about this particular law being legal, as far as he's aware back in his world this was only available in Saudi Arabia or some few parts of the world where muslim lives.

However, it's not like he could really blame the government from enforcing such law, like he mentioned before the world is in a verse of extinction thanks to devils.

That's why it's not uncommon for a man to have a multiple partners of this world as long as they could provide them.

The government is still shit though, if that's what you're asking.

Shigure shook her head a denied. "No…it's…my…responsibility…"

How stubborn, he let out a sigh and replied. "Alright, let's say that you're responsible and I accepted your protection, what are you going to do?"

Shigure thought for a bit before answering. "Make…sure…that…you…go…home…safe.."

Hiru was about to refuse, bit realized that this might be actually useful for him, as who knows a devil might ambush him later and decided to accept her 'responsibility' offer. "Fine, you win I'm going home right now, so protect me alright?"

With that Shigure nodded, satisfied with his decision.

"Anyway, you can sit in the back of my scooter." Hiru offered.

Shigure titled her head once more and asked. "Why…?"

"Why…? Isn't it obvious? You want to protect me correct?" Hiru clarified.

Shigure nodded, and then he continued. "That's why it's better for you to be closer to me, so that whatever danger may come, you could act faster as you're closer to me."

She couldn't argue with that logic and it absolutely made sense, with that she readily agreed with his suggestion and also a bit curious as this would be her first time reading a scooter.

Hiru have to admit, Shigure was a bit heavier than he expected but it was understable since she got that huge knockers with her.

So far from their journey, there's no devil that unexpectedly ambushed them, which is was glad there isn't.

While driving he realized that, he never really had someone ride his scooter aside from himself and his sister.

Shigure was the first one to ride his scooter aside from his family.

As he continues to drive, he slowly noticed the awkward atmosphere surrounding them, at least in his own personal opinion.

The silence between them was almost eerie, if he was alone it wouldn't be a big deal, but in this case he wasn't alone riding the scooter, he has a company behind and not having a conversation is making him uncomfortable.

Deciding to break the silence. "Say…I haven't asked for your name."

The silence dominated for a full minute and he was feeling a bit awkward right now, and he was about to look back behind to see her, but then she answered a moment after.

"Shigure, Kōsaka Shigure…that…is..my..name."

She actually didn't pause when mentioning her name, which was a bit surprising but not too much. "Well, Shigure Kōsaka is a beautiful name, by the way I'm Mitaka Hiru."

Although he wasn't looking at her, he could tell that she was nodding, however what he failed to see is that Shigure was smiling a bit when he mentioned that her name was beautiful.

As far as she's aware no one called her beautiful, not even her name and that's why she was quite happy inside hearing that someone called her name beautiful.

She was the kind of woman that was very easy to please.

Mainly because of her lack of worldly experience and general social interaction with people.

"So, I couldn't help but think that you're using a sword, are you perhaps a martial artist? If so, that explains the way you moved." Hiru recalled that unlike in the Kenichi The Strongest Disciple series, the martial art side was hidden from the world, mostly.

But in this world, martial artists are very open and their capabilities are almost inhuman, not like those flop back on earth, but martial artists that could break a fortified concrete steel with ease.

It was no wonder people like Quanxi and Kishibe could go toe to toe with some devil.

Although he doubts they know 'ki', if he remembered correctly only Master level could actively manipulate Ki to a certain degree.

Now, he wondered what level Shigure currently is, while she's one of the few Grandmaster level martial artists in the series, she was 26 at that time which is clearly not at the moment.

If he were to guess her age she would be between 17-19.

Either way, even if she isn't a Grandmaster level yet, she still could wipe floors with both Quanxi and Kishibe at the same time, fighting them at her current state would probably be similar to a fully grown adult vs a toddler.

Shigure nodded without hesitation and replied. "Yes..."

"That's cool." Hiru then asked a half serious, half joking question to her. "Say, do you mind if you teach me a 1 or 2 things about martial arts? You know, for self-defense."

After a few moments, she replied. "Okay…"

With that answer, he immediately pulled the break of his scooter and turned around to look at Shigure with a surprised look. "Really?!"

Shigure nodded and replied. "Only…if…you…have…the…determination…"

Is that even a question? He got lots of determination alright, trying not to die in this fuck up world needed a whole look a determination, training for his own survival isn't that enough for a determination?

With a grin on his face he replied. "I have lots of it, so when do we start?"

Shigure stared at him for a moment before saying. "Tomorrow…. afternoon…"

And that is how he received training from a bonafide martial arts master named Kōsaka Shigure.

A/N: To anyone who doesn't have any knowledge about Kenichi The Strongest Disciple ranking system. I will put the lowest to the highest ranking in order.

Low-Class Disciple - This is considered the weakest in the world of martial arts, while it might sound weak, trust me it's not, to ordinary people there's no way they would be able to beat someone at this level even there's dozens of ordinary people ganging up this person, they would be able to win easily.

Middle-Class Disciple - There aren't a lot of people who achieved this rank, especially those without masters, Quanxi and Kishibe are at this level in my opinion of course, but considering they both are self-taught and still manages to be at this level they are very talented, that is no doubt.

High-Class Disciple - Only those who are the brightest, the most talented martial artist could reach this level, this is not easy feat even if you dedicated all of your childhood to train, you wouldn't be able to reach this level if you lack talent and motivation, although there's always an exception, if you have a very talented master like the protagonist Kenichi from the original story, as stated Kenichi has no 'talent' in martial arts, not to mention he started training at his teenage phase, although he has something the many others doesn't have a monstrous amount of will, and has a vitality of a cockroach.

Expert Class - The boundary between being a disciple and a master and a lot of martial artists couldn't overcome this wall, because no matter how talented you are, if you can't control your Ki then you wouldn't be able to break through to the Master-level.

Low Class Master - Someone who barely qualify as a master, and a failure to the eyes of Master Class above, most master class martial artist directly becomes Master Class as soon as they break through from Expert Class, even though this is considered a failure, it's still a Master Class, Low as it is a master is still a Master.

Master Class - Martial artists around the world would recognize you as a true martial artist, but not as the peak as at this level your journey of becoming a Legend has just started.

Grand Master Class - For those who reach the level of Master Class it's only a matter of time before they achieve this level, what is important to reach this level is the amount of 'Ki' you have.

Advanced Grand Master Class - In this class is another boundary, but this time it's between a human and inhuman, once you reach this level you wouldn't be considered as 'human' anymore but a catastrophe in a human flesh.

Legend Class - Like this title, the person who achieved this level is simply legendary a person who is at the very peak of existence and considered a God for some people, if Nukes were people then Legend Class is the perfect personification, a person who is capable of leveling an entire city with physical strength alone.

Okay that took quite a while to write but damn I enjoyed writing this. XD
