Tonette turned to her left side as she suddenly felt warmth. She snuggled closer to the one who gives it to her as an arm pulled her even closer, feeling her companion's breath on her hair. She smelled a familiar scent of cologne as she squinted at the beams coming from a small opening from her window.
"Good morning, " greeted a male voice as she opened her eyes to look at the owner. A smile formed on the owner's lips as he gazed at Tonette.
"Roger? What are you doing here?" she asked absently as the man's eyebrows creased.
"Did you forget?" Roger asked.
"No... I mean... you're here. You... You stayed."
She could not recall some parts of the night except for asking him to stay and...
"Did I kiss you?"
Roger pushed a strand of hair from her face.
"We kissed."
"I see..."
An awkward silence fell upon them again.
"Tonette..." he called softly.
"Yes."
"How did you know I have a lover?"
