Nothing Else

Kristi successfully persuaded Fried to have a meal together. They sat across from each other, exchanging stories. Who would have thought? Kristi's curiosity was easily answered at the dinner table. 

The dishes they ordered arrived, and amidst their conversation, a story suddenly came up from Fried. Initially, Kristi just wanted to know what kind of job this foreign man was doing. Then, more questions arose when Fried mentioned the business he was currently involved in.

"The project I'm working on belongs to my wife's family. In Indonesia, I have nothing but my skills. I do all this to make my wife happy. I also wanted to experience something new because I was getting a bit bored with life in Berlin. Not that I don't miss the city, but it was a tough decision I had to make for the sake of my love for my wife."

"Ah, you love your wife so much. Seeing you here alone, do you two live in different cities?"
