Stubborn

Ellena's POV

I felt like I was in a trance last night; my sleep was so deep that when I woke up, I thought it was already late to go to the office. But it was only six o'clock, and I cursed under my breath for not being able to control myself. For a moment, I forgot where I was until I looked around and realized I was in an unfamiliar room.

"Of course, I'm at Mr. August's house since last night. How could I forget this? Foolish." After coming to my senses, I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom in the corner of the room.

I looked at myself in the mirror; my face looked fresher than last night. The events of yesterday really brought out wrinkles on my face. I looked so distressed because of the accusations. But it's all over now, and Mr. August is no longer angry with me.
