"Hmmmm," Khan murmured. The first thing he saw was the sight of the rotten dark wood mere meters away from his face as he simply lay there, unable to find his memories properly.
But soon, they started coming to him in a great flood as he remembered who he was, what he was trying to run away from, and the crazy battle he had engaged in that most likely had put him into this comatose state.

"So, I succeeded in completing the mission in the end. I really did defeat the mighty Kraken!" Khan mused to himself, looking at his own hands in shock. It still came to him as a big surprise that he had managed to defeat a near-legendary creature in a one-on-one fight with no tricks at all.
