Alainus, seeing how Gilgamesh had approached so closely, turned his two-meter-tall body into a black mist that crashed directly into his enemy.

At that moment, Gilgamesh shone with a golden light in the air, his gaze remarkably calm as he observed this incredible sight, feeling for just a few seconds like his past self, the one who exterminated his enemies ruthlessly and without saying a word.

"It was necessary..." Those were the only words that came out of Gilgamesh's mouth as he killed so many dark creatures that he didn't care at all where they came from, but using his ability to see the future, he wanted to at least understand what drove this place and what it was exactly.

In just a second, information enough to overwhelm hundreds of thousands of people flooded Gilgamesh's mind, and after learning what he wanted to know, he flew toward the closing portal.
