She took a cab home and got off it. Thanks to Ethan who gave her extra cash to help her reach home.
However, the guard didn't open the gate for her.
"Will you please open the gates?"
The uniformed guard eyed her suspiciously, "Who are you?"
"Excuse me? This is my home, and I need to go inside," She replied haughtily.
The guard looked at her face and opened his tab.
Odd! Her guards never used tabs to check their owner's faces, "I'm sorry, ma'am."
"It's ok," she smiled with relief, "you should learn some manners, mister. Now please open the gates. I need to go inside."
The guard started shaking his head, "I'm sorry but I can't let you in. I have been told that you aren't the owner."
Valerie frowned and her hand shot to the guard's collar, "Are you in your senses? If I'm not the owner, then who is?" she was shaking the poor guy brutally while he was trying his best not to touch the woman.
