After he left, I could not stop thinking about what he told me. I wondered if he truly wants to divorce his wife. Yang Mi said they were a powerful couple. The city knew them as the best couple. Was he going to do it? I became restless.
In my room, I sat on the edge of the bed going through the album that Ah Lam kept in my drawer. There contained childhood pictures of Yang Mi and a boy. Without anyone telling me , who he was I knew he was Yang Mi's brother. He was a very handsome young man. She told me that he was on the ship that went sailing five years ago. Poor boy.
A knock came on my door, interrupting my thoughts. I urged the person to calm in and Yang Mi walked in to the room with a dull face. No matter how tired she was, my friend always came back home with happy face. Something was definitely wrong with her.
"Welcome dear" I said, putting aside the album. She was still with her office clothes. "You just came back?"
