MHA: The Golden Flash

Takumi Kazuma, a boy with a decent quirk, but good skills to make up for it. Before taking the U.A. entrance exam - something that almost all of the kids in Japan seek to do as it was the school that infamous heroes like All Might, Endeavour, and Best Jeanist all went to - the boy sought to grow stronger and stronger until he was the strongest. This is the journey of the Strongest Hero What to expect from this story: - Non-Super OP Quirk: This story doesn't feature a super overpowered quirk like Time or Space Manipulation, or something that will make MC's life easy. Rather, the MC's quirk is something he has and will put blood, sweat, and tears into evolving and growing stronger. Though, it's certainly stronger than quirks like Pop Off or Naval Laser - Romance: While there will be romance, there will not be early romance (As depicted in the first chapter). However, this does not mean that MC won't have girls interested in him or girls that he talks to and is interested in, just don't expect him to get into a relationship early - Slice of Life/Action: As U.A. is set in High School, I want to take on a more slice of life approach rather than action. In terms of action and slice of life, it'll probably be about 40-60 - Mid to Slow Pacing of Plot: Admittedly, I tend to go really slow in stories and that makes me lose interest and drop stuff/put it on hiatus. With this story, I want to go for a faster approach, but not super rushed to the point the story is ruined - MC with personality: I do my best to not make my MC seem robotic and emotionless. Because of this, there are moments with MC and others that may seem goofy and/or unnecessary. But it's all for MC's character - OCs/SIs: As I don't want to follow the MHA plot exactly, there may be a few OCs/SIs for personal arcs of the MC such as his Internships - (Possibly) Movies: I'll attempt to implement 1 or 2 My Hero movies into this story to add a bit more, but only if it makes sense in the story

Chapter 4: Celebrations

"..." Silently tying up his tie, which nearly choked him out so he loosened it a little and proceeded to undo the top two buttons of his shirt, Takumi looked at his reflection in the full-body mirror in front of him, rubbing his face and appreciating his appearance: A blue suit with a bit of gold, behind it a buttoned up white shirt which he, as stated, didn't have fully buttoned up; a loose blue tie was around his neck, his chest popping out a little; and finally, blue trousers which fit him nicely, his glasses still on his face, 'Maybe I'll take it off later during the party'

Heading down in the small elevator, he entered the living room to find his parents well-dressed and ready. His mother wore a stunning white dress and a bit of makeup, while his father wore a black and red outfit containing a suit, tie, and trousers just like him, "Ready to go?" He asked, "All good/Ready, darling~" Takumi and Shizune answered, with his mother wrapping her arm around Sosuke's as the three walked out of the house to see their ride and driver

"Good day, Masters Sosuke and Shizune" The driver bowed, turning to Takumi, "And you too, Young Master Takumi" The three bowed in return, greeting the driver before he opened the door for them to enter, which they did, before he closed the door behind them and entered the driver's seat, "Are we good to depart?

"We're ready" Sosuke answered, allowing him to drive to the designated destination of the celebration party

.

.

.

"We have arrived" The driver opened the door for the Kazuma family to come out of, closing the door behind them before Sosuke handed him 100,000 Yen as a small tip for the drive (He pays the driver a monthly salary of 3 million Yen - more than $20,000 a month)

The party venue from the outside alone was already huge, about the equivalent of a large mansion if not bigger, "How many people did he invite, exactly?" Takumi asked, his mouth twitching out of shock as they entered the venue after bypassing the group of about 10 security guards outside the venue to see the lavish interior, and a flight of stairs going upstairs to the second floor, and probably another one or two.

"Uh... I don't actually know, to be honest" Sosuke begrudgingly admittedly, though the size of the venue didn't get to him at all. After all, as the CEO of a business who's been to many business parties like this if not bigger ones, he's used to this, "It'll be a good experience, future hero" Sosuke said, patting his son's back.

Taking a few steps inside the hall, Sosuke called out to three predominant figures standing in the centre of the hall, "Yozu-san!" The burly man in the middle turned around, his face booming as he looked at his business partner and friend, "Sosuke-san" He nodded, walking over to Sosuke as they shook hands, "And his lovely wife" They gave each other a small hug and kissed cheeks as a greeting, "And the main man of the party!" Standing in front of Takumi, he held his hands out and grabbed his arms and then moved up to his shoulder, "Looks like you've been training well, it's been years, boy!" And they, too, shared a handshake before Yozu called over his wife and daughter to join him in greeting the Kazuma family

"Good afternoon, Sosuke-san, Shizune!" Mika Yaoyorozu, Yozu's wife, greeted Sosuke with a small hug and kisses before squealing loudly and hugging Shizune tightly, "Mika! It's been a while!" They separated from each other, Mika nodding in agreement as she brought her hand up to her cheek and smiled, "I know right! It's been what, 3 days since we last saw each other?"

"..." The boys and Yaoyorozu daughter stared blankly at the wives, sighing before Shizune gasped, "Oh my... your daughter's grown beautiful, Mika! She looks just like her mother she does!" Shizune hugged Mika and Yozu's daughter, a charming girl with long black hair let down loosely, her mature body being hugged by a red dress which complements Takumi's blue suit

"What's your name, sweetie? I'm Shizune, Shizune Kazuma" Although she already knew, Shizune wanted to introduce herself as a stranger to make the girl more comfortable as she might not remember her from years ago

Getting the hint, the girl gave a small bow, "Momo Yaoyorozu, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Shizune-san" Her formality surprised Shizune, who looked at the sighing Mika, "You don't have to be so stern and formal, honey" Momo's mother told her

"But you taught me to be etiquette by speaking to others with respect, especially people older than me, mother" Momo argued in a slightly worried tone, feeling as if she had done something wrong but wasn't exactly sure what it was.

"Haaa... you don't have to do that with the Kazuma's, okay? They're good friends as well as business partners" Mika told her, earning a nod from Momo, "Okay... ehem" She cleared her throat, turning to Shizune, "My name is Momo Yaoyorozu, it's... nice to meet you" She seemed to struggle, as if she wasn't used to speaking without Full Power Formality Mode

"Takumi, come here!" Shizune called her loner son over, who walked over to the 3 women, "Introduce yourself" She said, giving him a look which told him 'Even if you already know her, she might not remember you'

"Nice to meet ya, I'm Takumi Kazuma" He introduced himself, his hand held out which Momo looked at with a smile, "I know, I remember you" She announced, shocking the three around her

"You do?" Takumi uttered, accompanied by Shizune and even Momo's own mother, Mika, earning a nod in response from the girl, "Very clearly, many years ago when you aided me in my troubles"

"Hm?" Takumi raised a brow, remembering what she might've meant that happened all those years ago, particularly, outside and not too far from the party revenue, "Are you talking about those bratty kids who ganged up on you back then?"

"Yes-"

"WHAT!?" Mika yelled, her face fuming as she stretched her arm out to her husband's clueless back, grabbed him, pulled him back, and began shaking him profusely which rattled his confused brain, "WHO THE HELL PICKED ON MY DAUGHTER, HUH!?" She yelled, her face resembling a gangster as her barely conscious husband began to tap her arm relentlessly.

"H-Honey..." His voice was wheezy, "L-Let me go..." His pleas went unheard, until Sosuke, Takumi, and Shizune pulled them apart and Momo calmed her mother down, "S-Sorry" Who quickly had to apologise to the party guests, while also apologising to her own husband who looked at the expensive watch on his wrist, "It's time" He said, "Momo, Takumi-kun, follow me please"

Yozu then headed to the small stage of the venue hall, grabbing a glass on his way with the stars of the show, Momo and Takumi, right behind him conversating. Walking up the stairs, Yozu arrived at the centre of the stage which had a mic stand set up, "Eh-Em... testing, testing. 1 2, 1 2" The microphone worked just fine, his loud voice gathering everyone's attention to the stage.

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to today's event! I have held this party to celebrate my daughter, Momo Yaoyorozu-" He placed his hand on her shoulder, and pushed her a little in front of him, "-making it into U.A. High School! As well as-" He then did the same with Takumi, who made eye contact with his father to prevent any awkward eye contact with anyone else, or looking like a mess by moving his eyes all over the place, "-My business partner and friend's son, Takumi Kazuma! Who too has made it into U.A. High School, and through the regular Entrance Exam, which makes it all the more impressive! These young stars will continue to shine bright as they grow older and become amazing pro heroes in the future! LET THE PARTY BEGIN!" Raising his class up high, the venue broke into a loud cheer which almost blew the walls off with the volume, causing Takumi and Momo to cast glances at one another, laughing at the drunk mess all the adults were destined to become by the time the party's over.

.

.

.

"Come on, son! Don't be a wuss! Drink" Takumi's father, Sosuke, slurred his words as he attempted to force a shot down his throat, "I don't want it, dad!" Takumi argued, pushing his father away from him, but he was too persistent and kept resisting, "I'M GONNA MAKE YOU DRINK TODAY!" He vowed, their father-son antics giving Shizune and the Yaoyorozu's a good laughter

"Would you like a drink, Momo?" Yozu asked his daughter, pouring a drink in a glass and offering it to her, "No thank you, father" She raised her hand and denied the offer, causing the man to shrug his shoulders, "Be my guest" before downing the shot

Suddenly, a table flew past them, hitting Sosuke which knocked him unconscious, "..." Their mouths dropped as they slowly turned to see a huffing Takumi "Haa... Haa... Finally...!" He celebrated getting rid of his father's persistency, albeit with a literal table

"I must be more drunk than I thought" Yozu, Mika, and Shizune shared their thoughts aloud, denying what they had just witnessed, 'Most definitely not... but I'll let them think that' Momo thought to herself, keeping the truth to herself as she lightly giggled, watching as Takumi slumped down into a chair at an empty table, taking his phone out as he definitely preferred this over parties - then again, it's probably because the guests are adults here for business and connections, rather than people his age other than Momo.

"Mind if I join you?" Speaking of the girl, Momo had arrived at his table and asked if she could take a seat, "Go ahead" Takumi said with a smile, putting his phone back in his pocket as he didn't want to make the girl feel awkward, "Whaddya think of this party?" He asked her, his chin resting on his hand as he looked at Momo, who sat with her back straight and legs together, her hands resting on her thighs - as expected of the formality queen

"It is certainly interesting I must say, considering it is the first party where I have seen someone throw a table at another" She giggled cutely, reminiscing about the scene which happened only a few minutes ago

"Yeahhh... sorry you had to see that" He chuckled in embarrassment, rubbing his face, "My dad, well, he deserved it" Takumi crossed his arms, putting his chest out while nodding, "Yup"

"A whole table which rendered him unconscious? Certainly" Momo replied sarcastically, chuckling once more with her hand in front of her mouth, "Have you prepared yourself for U.A. at all?" She asked, changing the topic to the whole reason this party was even being held

"Not really, I'm more of a last minute guy to be honest, so I probably won't have anything done until the night before at worst" He answered, his arms remaining crossed due to the comfortability

"At 'worst'? What about 'at best'?" Momo asked, to which Takumi began to think seriously before responding, "The morning of the day"

"..." Momo, as someone who's always overly-prepared for anything way before it happens (She was already down preparing her stuff for U.A. like the school uniform, etc), couldn't help but gasp, "Takumi-san, you really should be more prepared! It is good in the long run to pick up that habit!" She told the unbothered boy

"I'll take that as you've already prepared everything, then" He chuckled, causing the girl to nod, her hand placed on her chest, "Of course" She said proudly.

"Say, your quirk is to create a bunch of stuff from what I remember, right? How's that coming along?" And so, the two conversated for a majority of the party, sharing a few stories and giggles with one another which made the party somewhat better

As the two spoke at their table, Yozu and the awake Sosuke stood together, glasses in hand as they looked at Momo and Takumi who spoke with smiles on their faces, "To be honest, I had another reason for holding this party" Yozu suddenly spoke, Sosuke looking at him with a raised brow while sipping his drink, "Hm?"

"Sosuke-san..." Yozu's face was serious as he looked at him, "What do you think about engaging your son to my daugh-"

"Nope, sorry" Sosuke replied immediately, finishing his glass and placing it on the table beside them, proceeding to explain himself further as he noticed Yozu's perplexed face, "I'm not a fan of forced engagements of marriages. It's my boy's choice as to who he wants to marry, whether it be 1 woman, 3 women, or a mutant woman with a interesting features. As long as Shizune and I approve of them, and Takumi loves them and they love him wholeheartedly, I don't care who he marries" He explained, his aura calm as he took a seat, one leg crossed over the other as he beckoned Yozu to join him in being seated.

"I see..." Yozu nodded, perfectly understanding Sosuke's logic, sitting down with a low grunt, "It's a shame, but I understand. Sorry for asking" He sighed in disappointment, but he wouldn't let this ruin the night so he carried on drinking and chatting with Sosuke and anyone else who spoke with him.

-----

A/N: For the '1 Woman, 3 women, or a mutant woman' part, the reason why I said that is because I feel like due to MHA being set hundreds of years ahead of modern time, their rules regarding polygamy (More than 1 spouse) are probably different, especially considering Quirk Factor and Lineage as a factor - in other words: Polygamy is not illegal in Japan for this fic, but it's also not the norm per se (It's typically seen with extremely wealthy and strong people)
