Chapter 14: Disagreement

"Araki! Stop that! Stop what you are doing!" Momo shouts while looking at them with worried eyes.

"This is nothing but a minor injury. This won't affect him gravely. All I need is answers."

"No. What you're doing is torture. You are inflicting pa-" "I know what torture is, Yaoyorozu. You don't have to tell me what to do."

Araki just gives her a stare straight to her eyes. Momo can do nothing but look be consumed by Araki's mystifying look at her. As if he is a different person than the inconspicuous Araki from the class.

The quiet, calm, and self-centered man that he used to know, albeit for a short time.

*Snap!*

"AUARGAAGAGGHHHH"

The man's scream broke the silence between the two classmates.

"STOP IT ARAKI! Stop it, or else, I will report this to the school. I don't know the consequences, but your behavior will be monitored."

Araki looks at her and gave an innocent smile. Smile so innocent that she almost forgot what he did seconds ago.

"Ok then. Let's talk about other solutions." He unties the man and helps him stand up. They moved away from the group, enough that the group can't hear them.

"I can give you two options. First, you would answer my questions."

"Why in hell would I do that?" "Let me finish. In turn, I would release you out of prison given that you are going to be 100% arrested and I would give you a new life. Also, enough money to start a legal business, a new identity to live on, and you will be living abroad. Of course, that is if you answer my question."

Stating his demands, the man looks at him with one question that he already knew.

""Do you think you can fool me?"" The man was surprised that Araki knows what he is thinking.

"I know you are skeptical about this. But as someone from the life of crime, you should know that money can fix almost everything."

"Then, what's the second option?" Araki walks closer to him and puts his mouth beside the man's ear.

"I will make sure, that every one that is caught here, including you, would suffer in the prison. No matter whether it is a normal prison or even Tartarus. I would make sure, that you won't even want to live anymore, and the punishment you are going to receive is going to be greater than the crimes that you committed. Whether you deserve it or not, I don't care."

Araki just backs up to the distance and as he sees the man's terrified eyes, he gives a smile.

On Momo's side, Jiro is crouched down on the ground, her earphone jack inserted on the stone.

"I can't hear anything that they are saying." "What? How?" "I don't know. I can hear something, but I can't make up any words on what it is."

Given the distance, Momo can't hear anything and tried to ask Jiro for help. Seconds later, the man starts to talk to Araki, and Momo is convinced that he managed to get the answer from him peacefully.

Araki just pats the man's back and they started walking. Instead of joining the group, Araki starts to walk towards the location of the group, and the man walks toward the group.

Confused by what is happening, Momo runs to the man and asks him what happened.

"Nothing, I'm just going to rest here and wait for the authorities. I'm sorry for what I did to you and your classmates. I can't apologize for the others though. He also apologized to me, the kid, after what he did to my fingers. I think he did that out of anger, so you don't have to report him to your school. I think he is embarrassed so he left your group."

This surprises Momo because, after a talk with Araki, the villain even apologizes to them.

After contemplating what happened, the five students decided to follow Araki after tying everyone up.

"Let's go guys."

In Momo's mind, she is in deep thought. 'What happened to him? Did he experience something traumatic before?'

-Lobby area-

Aizawa and Vlad are currently fighting the goons. All of them can't touch even the single hair of the two. Because of this, Shigaraki is slowly getting frustrated. His itch started to be more severe given that he is scratching more aggressively.

"Nomu, beat this two up. Beat them up until All Might comes out."

Nomu, the beaked bulky-looking creature beside him moves. The moment it moved, the two teachers knew that the fight would be different.

It suddenly disappears at Aizawa's sight and appears beside Vlad, who is barely able to react and shield himself with blood.

The Nomu's punch landed which knocks Vlad 2 meters from his previous position.

'Strong!' 'Fast!' The two thought at the same time.

"Eraserhead!" Vlad tried to warn Aizawa which succeeded. Aizawa is able to bend over to avoid the punch. Another punch was to come and plummet him to the ground but he manages to cling himself with his binding cloth.

When Aizawa thought that he was safe, another fist fit his right arm. Just from one punch, he felt his whole shake.

Another blow is about to hit his face but a hardened blood stops it, albeit only for a short moment. This enables him to regain composure and take distance from the creature.

"You know, this guy is created to be as strong as All Might. This is also the one that we're going to use to kill him." Shigaraki simply declared.

"If you think you can hold out until he arrives, then you should think harder."

A second later, Kurogiri can be seen coming out near Shigaraki.

"Did you kill Thirteen?"

"No. The kids got in the way. One even managed to get out. The guys we hired are also useless."

While the two are talking, Aizawa, whose right arm is still hurting, is starting to get worried.

'Three versus two. We can't even hurt this Nomu, now another one returns. If they want to, they could've ended us already, but he chose to see his underlings got beat up first.'

"Nomu, finish that guy first before going for the other one." Shigaraki points to Aizawa. The nomu obeyed his order and moved. This time, more seriously as his punch is aimed at Aizawa's face and slightly faster than before.
