Upgraded? Fate Carve?

The scenery slowly morphed, and it was back to a plain black room.

Oki was staring at the air for a minute with teary eyes.

"That is my story, young one." Merlin came and tapped Oki's shoulder. When she saw Oki's teary eyes, she felt something amiss. 'Why do I feel like I have a connection to him?'

'Could it be that because he tampered with one of my divided souls?'

Oki, who snapped out of his trance by Merlin's words, kneeled down for a second.

"I-I am sorry, I am sorry." Merlin childishly started running around Oki and started begging.

"It's okay... granny," Oki said with teary eyes. 'Wait... is she?'

'Granny?' Merlin looked at Oki. "Young one... what is your name?"

"Oki... Oki Takemikazuchi." Oki said with an awkward smile.

Merlin ran and hugged Oki tightly, "So, you are Yami's son?" Merlin asked as she ran around Oki and poking him.

"Nope," Oki said as he sat down with a plop. "I am his grandson... though I may not be in another way."

"Huh?" Merlin was confused. "What do you mean?"

"Well..." Oki didn't know where to start.

-> After an explanation later.

"Seems like there are many worlds," Merlin said after listening to Oki's explanation. "That also explains why you have such a compact soul."

"Compact soul?" Oki remembered the other Oki.

"Yup, it is not that rare cause some inheritance artefacts could merge with-"

"Souls and empower souls." Oki finished Merlin's speech.

"..." Merlin was staring at Oki.

"?" Oki was now confused.

"How did you finish my sentence?"

"Wait, that's what you are concerned about? Not that I am not mentally your great-grandson?"

"Oh!... Well, you are now my grandson." Merlin said with a plain tone. "So, how did you finish my sentence?"

"Well... I did relieve your memories." Oki said, opening his arms wide.

"You remember things that happened 200 years ago?" Merlin said in doubt and eagerness. "Also, seems like you will be having a gift after you wake up."

"Gift?" Oki asked as he remembered something. 'The katana! Also, how did she bypass the 11 sacrifices?'

"Um..."

"I know what you want to ask about," Merlin said, showing her palm. "You see, you have Yami-no-chikara inside you. That is how it would be passed." Merlin pointed at Oki. "Until an heir remains, the two swords will be passed no matter what."

'Inside me?' Oki then felt like he was turning into a lead.

"Don't worry, you will find out about it soon. After all, you are his grandson and my great-grandson." Merlin said with a lovely smile.

"W##it! N#!!!" Oki's voice was getting distorted. 'No! I need few more minutes... please!'

Oki felt an equal tug from everywhere.

"How d## y#u #ypa#s the sacrifice of y### so#ls!" (How did you bypass the sacrifice of your souls!)

"Sionara, my little one," Merlin said with sadness lingering in her voice. 'I wanted to talk to you, but seems like time and fate made cut things perfectly.'

'NO!' Oki wanted to move, but golden chains bounded him and covered him up slowly. 'No, I need to ask her-'

Oki was subdued by the chains in seconds.

Merlin was no longer in his sights.

'Please!' Oki desperately struggled, but he couldn't, 'Why! I wanted to ask her... if I can free her...' Oki had tears flowing out of his eyes.

"Huff-huff", Oki woke up, sweat covering his forehead.

"April!"

/Boss, are you good, how are you feeling, and what can I do for you?/ April said as the stealth suit walked towards Oki and placed a glass of water near him. /I am informing Mr. Yagi that you have woken up./

Oki then saw that he was in bandages.

"What happened?" Oki asked April.

/It seems the 'Dark Saber' exploded, and you were in a coma for 28 days/ The stealth suit walks back, and April's hologram appears beside Oki.

Oki stood up and saw things differently.

'The weapons!' Oki realised and ran towards his workshop.

As Oki entered his workshop, he saw that the weapons had not even a single scratch. 'Thank my luck.'

Oki then held the Gaheris's stopwatch and tried to order it mentally with his left hand.

Soon, a golden glow covered Oki, and all his wounds and sour body were no more.

'Nice, my body is at its peak state.' Oki then stretched his body. 'Seems like some pains and soreness had disappeared as well.'

"April, where is my Darksaber?"

/It was destroyed during the explosion.../

Oki just stared at the air.

/Boss?/

"Huh? What's up, April."

/I don't understand something.../

"What don't you understand?"

/you didn't realise that your right hand was destroyed./

"Huh?" Oki then noticed his right hand was thickly bandaged. 'Looks like I really am lucky to survive... first, I need to find out why did my Darksaber explode.' (He has his hand back)

"Oh! I did notice it. It's just I forgot due to adrenaline rush, hehe." Oki said, scratching his neck. 'Why didn't my 'Instinct' work?'

/Well, do you want me to get the kyber crystal Boss?/

"Well, not now," Oki said as he lifted Degore's great sword. "I will make a new one after I have done some experiments."

/Please, don't. Take some rest./ April said with concerning voice.

"Was I in that of a bad condition?"

/You were!/ April said in a sad tone.

/You were in a coma for 28 days, and the first thing you do after wake up i-is do experiments?/

'Did I upgrade April too much? She... did she upgrade herself!?' Oki was sure that April had a zero chance to stutter. 'Wait...'

"Melo?"

/.../ April just stared at Oki.

"It is you!" Oki said as his pupils enlarged. "How did you even come out? Wait... how are you in April?"

/I-I... How did you even find out?/ April voice and figure changed into Melo's.

"How did you even come out... void?"

/I am not outside the void, actually!/ Melo said as she shook her hologram hair side and side.

"Then?"

/It's like... I passed some of my consciousness into April. I can possess April for a minute at most, also my consciousness upgraded her, so I guess you should be thanking me after/

"How can you possess an A.I?" Oki asked and Melo clearly saw Oki was irritated. 'Why would I thank a fool like you?'

/I am not su##e, I#'s l#k# I kn##w ###/ Melo stopped her words as she realised something.

/I# seems m# ##me #s #p/ Melo's figure changed into April.

/Boss, I recommend you to take a rest or else.../

"?" Oki looked at April

/I am gon-na call Ms.Chiyo... Why are you staring at me li-like that?/ April started to cover her bossoms.

'Wait, does this mean April has become one step closer to a human due to Melo?'

"It's just that I am stressed out, April."

/If you want, I can show you my self/ April said weakly, which Oki heard.

'Huh?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Oki pretended he didn't hear and walked out of the room. 'I hope she doesn't become Ultron reincarnate.'

Oki walked towards the kitchen to dump some caffeine inside his body.

Just a minute after Oki woke up->

April's hologram popped up in front of All Might, who was having green tea in front of Nezu and few other teachers.

The sudden pop of April startled the group a bit.

"April? What brings you here?"

/Boss has woken up!/ April said with excitement.

Nezu then stood on the table.

"We shall visit him then. I hope his brain has decreased his thought activities." Nezu excitedly said.

"???" The whole group was staring at Nezu.

"If it had, then I can defeat him in our next game of chess!" Nezu said, running his hands over his mouse nose.

'He cares about the game?' Midnight was confused.

'I thought the game always ended in a draw', All Might and Ectoplasm thought as they had seen both playing chess for hours.

'Interesting, this is my first time hearing about it' Aizawa was now curious. 'Does Oki have a mental quirk?'

"No, erasure he doesn't," Nezu said as he backflipped and stood on his seat.

"how? wait, on a second thought why do I even ask." Aizawa just rolled his eyes.

"Also, April, I hope you don't show Oki the CCTV footage, especially the U.A border footage."

/That... I will try,/ April said, nodding her head.

Just a second after Oki woke up->

United Kingdom, Birmingham, in a restaurant-

"Faze?" A woman spoke as the person beside her was in shock.

"H-he didn't die," The man named Faze spoke as cold sweat stuck to his forehead.

Everyone seems to know when they implied 'He'.

"Is he a monster just like our Majesty?" The woman spoke as her pupils enlarged.

'What kind of monster has the newest generation has unleashed when the near absolute quirk like 'Fate Carve' couldn't kill him?' A man with blue hair thought. 'This means that Yami-no-chikara is still bound to him.'

'I have to inform majesty!' The woman who was beside Faze teleported.

Meanwhile->

"Kudai?" AFO asked as he felt a presence.

"Sir", Kudai answered.

"What brings you here?" AFO asked as the Nomu reports were supposed to arrive next month. 'Did he discover something new? something interesting?!'

"I have got the reports on the kid, sir," Kudai said as he inserted a USB drive into a CPU.

"I will be taking my leave, sir." Kudai bent forward and left the room as he saw AFO was interested in the files, but before he stepped out, he wanted to say something.

"Also, sir"

"Yes?" AFO asked

"Intel was hard to find on this kid. It was like he popped up out of nowhere and..."

"?" AFO saw that Kudai was sweating. "come on, Kudai, you don't have to be tense," AFO said in a friendly tone.

"I found out that he really is descendant of the 'Demon King'."

AFO was silent for a minute.

"I see, is there anything else?"

"I found out that you killed his parents, and I am sure he will too," Kudai said with a worried tone.

"If he does, I will give him as a gift to Arthur, HAHAHA!" AFO started laughing. 'The blade queen's legacy shall stop with his end!'

Though he was laughing, Kudai could see some veins bursting out.

"Also, have you arranged the Nomus for Tomura? His plan this time could work."

"They are almost done, sir, but my grandson is still resisting a bit. After I am done with him, I will be done with things."

"You do know that you don't have to sacrifice your family." AFO voice was filled with concern.

Kudai walked out of the lab.

AFO, after Kudai left the lab, clicked a button near him.

A program started to scan the intel and then started speaking out.
